Exposed!!!!!

Lin Haobai couldn’t help but close his eyes, convinced that the handsome man had noticed him.

Lin Haobai kept his eyes shut, too afraid to move, only the sudden, intense fragrance in his nose reminding him that the handsome man was still nearby.

Suddenly, the light perception in his eyes began to fade.

Ignoring everything else, Lin Haobai quickly opened his eyes. By the faint glow of the small bedside lamp, he realized that the handsome man had only taken the remote behind him to turn off the room’s main lights.

After leaving the nightlight on, the man stood by the bed with his back to him, moving his hands a few times. In Lin Haobai’s last line of sight, a silky robe draped over him. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of that aesthetically perfect back.

The moment his vision was completely gone, Lin Haobai felt as if he had narrowly escaped a disaster.

It must be my idol baggage acting up! he thought. If someone really caught him seemingly peeking, and at the same sex, that would be explosive news. Even though the “peeping” wasn’t voluntary, being in someone else’s bedroom was undeniable evidence.

Terrifying!

After slowly calming down, Lin Haobai finally remembered what he had to do today. Beneath his lightly fragrant robe, he tried to recall every detail he had observed in the room, searching for any clue about the man’s identity.

Soon, the steady sound of the man’s breathing reached his ears—Lin Haobai knew that the handsome man had fallen asleep.

He still hadn’t figured out the situation.

For now, every time he fell asleep, he ended up, almost as if sealed, staying by this man’s side.

Countless thoughts twisted together like a giant ball of thread in his mind, and Lin Haobai felt he needed to untangle each strand to understand the true situation.

Early the next morning, Lin Haobai was woken by a stream-like, melodious ringtone.

His first reaction was to move his body, realizing he was still in the man’s room.

Amid the ringtone, he heard the rustling of bedding being turned, then the pleasant alarm sound was switched off. Not long after, his vision returned.

His eyes fell exactly on the man’s fingers tied in the robe’s sash.

Just looking at the fingers alone, they seemed as beautiful as a work of art. But when that large hand scooped him up, Lin Haobai once again felt the raw strength that a man should possess.

“Good morning, little one. Daddy didn’t take you to bed last night, were you a good boy?”

Lin Haobai rolled his eyes in his heart: I’m not good, not good at all! Hmph, and I saw you exposed too.

Knowing that the handsome man couldn’t hear his inner shouts, Lin Haobai still wriggled like a cat caught by the scruff, baring his teeth inwardly and wishing he could make this energetic man a little embarrassed.

The man rubbed him a few times, but instead of putting him down, he held him in the palm of his hand and walked straight toward the bathroom.

Lin Haobai had a vivid memory of this bathroom.

It was in this place that he had a very special encounter with the man before.

Gently set down on the cold, white sink, Lin Haobai strained to take in his surroundings.

The bathroom, decorated with beige marble, was enormous, bigger than his own dining room at home. Lin Haobai guessed that the man must live in the central, ultra-wealthy section of the villa district. After all, aside from that super-rich area, the rest of the villas were mostly similar, and the bathrooms wouldn’t be drastically smaller.

To the side was probably the toilet and bathtub area. The spot where he had almost fallen into the toilet before must have been there.

Returning his gaze forward, he noticed a tall reflection on the marble wall opposite. In front of that reflection was a large sink. The marble surface was polished to a high gloss, allowing him to see several shelves on the sink.

But compared to the other side of the shelves, Lin Haobai thought he spotted a small, dark shadow.

Was it hand soap?

Or…?

A thought both unbelievable and yet surprisingly logical flashed through his mind. Lin Haobai didn’t want to believe it, yet it seemed like the closest thing to the truth.

By now, the handsome man had finished brushing his teeth and was applying lotion.

The faintly fragrant scent of the lotion wafted through the air as a huge transparent bottle was placed in front of him. Lin Haobai raised his eyes slightly and saw the massive blue Chinese logo on the bottle. The calligraphic characters were familiar, he knew this brand because he used it too. Skincare for men, a pride of domestic products.

Lin Haobai finally understood his situation. He reluctantly closed his eyes and then opened them again.

The beautiful, fair hand took the lotion bottle away, and after the sound of the cap clicking shut, the large hand lifted him up.

Lin Haobai finally saw what he had been longing to see, the thing he had been desperately searching for.

A wide, clear mirror was right in front of him.

In the reflection, a meticulously groomed, stunningly handsome man appeared. His cheek skin was even fairer and more translucent, almost as if light shimmered beneath it. His deep eyes, rosy lips, and perfectly white teeth, all of it announced to anyone who saw him that this was a man whose looks were off the charts and brimming with masculine charm.

In his large, graceful hands, the man was holding a tiny figurine.

The figurine was about the size of the man’s hand. With just a gentle squeeze, he could hold it tightly.

It had chocolate-colored skin, short black hair, and signature big, round eyes. It wore a familiar white silk-like top and black pants with subtle golden highlights. Along the side of the pants hung a gold chain.

Lin Haobai was stunned.

After the initial shock, a sense of inevitability followed.

So that’s how it really was.

The buried thought he had hidden deep in his heart was, in fact, the truth.

He recognized the figurine immediately. It was one of the twelve limited handmade editions he had painstakingly created, and the one he had put the most effort into. The outfit on the figurine was the very costume he had worn on the most important stage of his life. At the time, he hadn’t wanted to let it out because of its sentimental value.

Now, he didn’t have to hold back.

Because he—Lin Haobai, somehow ended up inside this figurine every time he fell asleep.

He could only sum up his reaction with two words: Heh. Incredible. Anything else seemed impossible to express.

After the stylish man spoke a few words to him, he led him to the walk-in closet. But Lin Haobai no longer had the energy to think. Slowly, he closed his eyes and lost consciousness.

When he woke up, he was back in his own body.

The scene from the past few days repeated: Lin Haobai lay on his deep blue bed, hammering his pillow several times.

What on earth was happening?

Did this count as a “transmigration”?

Having read countless scripts, he knew what “transmigration” meant. But his situation felt more like a spirit possession. Only, he hadn’t possessed a human body, he had possessed the body of a figurine.

He didn’t know who he could talk to about a situation like this. He had no friends, no close classmates or colleagues, he had always been alone, struggling along the path of his acting career.

For the first time, Lin Haobai felt regret for focusing solely on work and neglecting social connections.

Who could he possibly tell about such a bizarre experience?

He thought of the few older mentors he was closest to, but shook his head at each one. Then, what about his manager? Lin Haobai silently considered. Just then, his phone rang.

Still lying on the bed, he reached out and grabbed the phone from the bedside table.

The screen showed a call from his manager, Wang You.

“Hey, Brother Wang, what’s up?”

“Xiao Bai, something urgent came up, so even though you’re on break, I thought I’d call and check with you.”

Lin Haobai nodded. “Go ahead, tell me.”

Then he heard news that he didn’t know whether to take as good or bad.

A skincare brand called “Lou,” known as a shining example of domestic excellence, wanted to invite him to be the face of their latest product, not the entire brand, just the new product line. At first glance, it didn’t seem like a particularly prestigious offer, but this skincare line had a secret formula and remarkable results that had made it very popular among the public.

Their products were especially suited to Asian skin types and offered different series for various skin conditions. It was a professional, large-scale skincare group. In addition to the “Lou” brand, the group owned 50% of the country’s household chemical brands.

The total assets of the group exceeded 100 billion yuan, a true giant. Their brands had strong public recognition and consumer loyalty, and their endorsements were always highly sought after in the industry. Accepting this endorsement would not only bring financial benefits but also attract attention from a wider range of age groups.

Most importantly, it was low-risk, there was no chance of a scandal.

Lin Haobai instinctively clenched his phone and began thinking about the offer.

He knew his own situation.

Since debuting, due to his appearance, almost all the endorsements he received had nothing to do with skincare or cosmetics. Outdoor gear and sports brands had always been his focus. And now, a skincare brand was approaching him? Not just any brand—Lou itself? It was strange.

Cautious by nature, Lin Haobai didn’t trust his own luck. He believed everything happened for a reason. Pressing his fingers to his forehead, countless thoughts flashed through his mind, and finally, he said lightly to the excited manager on the other end:

“Brother Wang, I’ll think about it first.”
