The sky was growing dark as the sun set in the west.
A tall, upright figure slowly approached, bathed in the twilight glow.
The man wore a white shirt and black trousers, his jacket casually draped over his arm, holding a document in his hand.
“The test results are out,” Jayden Jacobs announced.
After receiving a call from his friend, he had gone straight to the hospital to pick up the paternity test report.
He had tried calling Juno, but she didn’t answer, so he returned to the Jacobs family home.
He hadn’t expected to walk in on such a scene.
“That was fast?” The young girl’s eyes filled with delight, seemingly unconcerned about the outcome.
She opened the file and quickly scanned it before holding her hand out to May Lawson with even more righteous conviction.
“Hand over the card!”
May was far from willing to give it up, but Lana Daniels had already caught a glimpse of the paternity test results.
She realized this wild brat was actually the long-lost daughter of the Jacobs family!
They had all been tricked by that Gu person.
Her heart filled with even greater fear and panic.
Besides, Jayden was right here!
Trembling with anxiety and terrified of causing more trouble, Lana hurriedly snatched the limited-edition Hermes Birkin bag from her daughter’s shoulder.
She had just managed to dig out the card Mandy Lawson had given May moments ago…
Juno held the cherry-blossom pink Hermes Birkin bag in her hand and examined it.
She didn’t actually recognize any luxury brands in this world, but she still remembered the plot she had read last night.
This bag, worth over three million, had been wheedled out of Mandy by May.
It was also Derek Jacobs’s twentieth wedding anniversary gift to his wife.
The only reason the plot mentioned this detail was to show how much Mandy doted on May, thereby expressing her deep longing for her own daughter.
Unexpectedly, Juno had taken it to heart.
There was a particularly fitting song lyric: “Return what you took from me, and spit out what you ate of mine!”
“A person needs to have some manners.
Don’t take things that don’t belong to you, rawr,” the young girl said.
She dumped all the cosmetics May had bought herself onto the ground.
“These are yours.
Have them back, rawr.”
She also snatched the bank card from Lana’s hand.
“And this belongs to my family!”
May glared at her, red in the face with anger.
Juno, however, couldn’t be bothered to entertain her any longer.
Smiling sweetly, she looked at Lana.
“If your daughter lacks manners, I don’t mind finding her a new daddy to teach her a lesson, rawr.”
Adorable, yet fierce—capable of taking a bloody bite out of you when you least expected it!
Lana, already trembling all over, shuddered even more violently.
The Birkin bag, the bank card—none of it mattered anymore.
She grabbed May and turned to flee.
“Take your trash with you.” Juno kicked a tube of Christian Louboutin lipstick on the ground, and it coincidentally smacked right into the back of Lana’s head.
Gritting her teeth in hatred, Lana picked up the broken cosmetics from the ground and awkwardly dragged the resentful May away.
After they left, the garden of the Jacobs Villa instantly quieted down, falling into a dead silence.
“PFFT.” Jayden let out a soft chuckle.
He raised a hand and ruffled the swaying stray strands of hair on top of the girl’s head.
“You’re so violent, little brat.”
Leaning in close to her ear, he spoke in a voice only the two of them could hear.
“Next time, try not to do this in front of Mom.
She’s easily spooked.”
Jayden took the test report from Juno’s hand and walked over to a dumbfounded Mandy.
“Mom, this is the paternity test Juno asked me to get done a few days ago.
We tested both you and Dad.”
Mandy numbly accepted the report.
Both documents confirmed it: Juno was their biological daughter who had been missing for twelve years!
