The volcanic ash valley fell into a deathly, suffocating silence as the dust from the brief battlefield ambush slowly settled. Surrounded by rows of elite Dark Elf assassins and heavy demon vanguard units, the massive Ogre Warchief and the sniveling Goblin King remained forced to their knees. Heavy soul-suppressing iron chains rattled against the dark stone with every desperate movement they made.
Prince Raizael stood calmly in front of them, his opulent dark crimson and gold royal robes fluttering gently in the dry, sulfur-scented wind. He looked down at the captured leaders, his realistic, toned-down crimson eyes carrying a cold, mathematical certainty.
"I am a busy man, so I will only give you one offer," Raizael murmured, his deep baritone voice carrying a chilling level of command as his passive skill, [Sovereign’s Gaze], slammed into their mental defenses. "Submit to my throne right now and swear absolute fealty to the Sovereign Regency. If you agree, your tribes will be integrated as specialized frontline miners and defensive labor units under my empire."
The Ogre Warchief roared, his massive chest heaving against the heavy chains as he glared up at Raizael with pure, primal defiance. "Submit?! To a fragile demon prince who hides behind the skirts of elves?! Our mountain tribe has ruled these jagged peaks for centuries! We bow to no one, especially not a brat playing king while Atlas is nowhere to be seen!"
Beside him, the Goblin King gnashed his sharp, yellow teeth, his large green ears twitching with intense malice. "Hehe! The giant speaks the truth! You think a single ambush makes you our master? Our burrows stretch deep into the mountains, Prince! If you kill us today, thousands of our kin will tear your trade routes to pieces by sunset! You do not have the stomach to wipe us out!"
Raizael didn't anger. Instead, a slow, lazy, and thoroughly lethal smirk curled on his lips, his crimson eyes flashing with an unholy light that made the surrounding air drop to freezing temperatures.
"You talk of centuries of rule, Warchief, yet you lie in my dirt," Raizael said smoothly, taking a slow step forward until his shadow completely swallowed the primitive leaders. "And you, Goblin King, believe your numbers will protect you. Let me make something perfectly clear. If you refuse my offer... I will order Commander Karon and Xylar to initiate a total, systematic purge. We will not stop at this valley. We will hunt down every single living creature in your respective races, burn your underground burrows to ash, and execute your infants. We will take absolute control of your territories anyway."
He leaned down slightly, his voice dropping into a lethal, freezing whisper. "I will not tolerate a second chance. If you try to outsmart me, or do anything to harm my trade routes, I will personally ensure the total extinction of your race. Your lineages will be permanently erased from the history books of this continent. Now, look into my eyes and tell me if you want your species to die today."
The Ogre Warchief swallowed hard, a cold sweat breaking out across his massive, leathery face as the crushing psychological weight of Raizael's gaze completely shattered his primal courage. The Goblin King's smirk instantly vaporized, his body shivering violently as he realized this prince wasn't making an empty political threat. He was entirely willing to commit absolute genocide.
"W-We submit! We swear fealty!" the Goblin King screeched, slamming his green forehead frantically against the cold stone.
"The... the mountain tribe bows," the Ogre Warchief grunted softly, lowering his massive head in absolute defeat.
With the submission of the primitive leaders, the Umbral Sovereignty of Malgora instantly expanded its territory, absorbing the vast mountain villages of the ogres and goblins. Raizael’s workforce and frontline defense numbers grew larger than ever before, permanently securing his western borders.

Meanwhile, thousands of miles away, inside the pristine, blindingly white marble halls of The Celestrix Empire, a completely different gathering was taking place. Massive aether cascades poured down from the vaulted ceilings, illuminating a grand ceremonial dais.
Standing proudly at the center of the hall was the Chosen Hero, 19 years old, Caelum Sol-Zenith. His thick, platinum-blonde hair caught the pure light, and his bright blue eyes burned with an unyielding, righteous determination. Standing right beside him were his two newly trained core party members.
To his left was a beautiful female Mage named Selene, 20 years old, her elegant white silk robes humming with dense elemental magic as she held a glowing crystal staff. To his right stood a towering, broad-shouldered Tank named Magnus, 23 years old, clad in massive, gold-plated heavy armor and leaning against a colossal tower shield.
"The holy magic flowing through my staff is perfectly attuned to your light, Caelum," Selene murmured, a proud, confident smile playing on her beautiful face. "The high sanctuary has provided us with the highest-tier cosmic matrices. No demon magic will be able to penetrate our vanguard."
Magnus grunted, slamming the base of his tower shield against the marble floor, creating a heavy thud that echoed through the vast hall. "My shield can withstand the stomp of a mountain behemoth, Hero. Let the demon scum come. I will break their frontlines myself."
The heavy trumpets sounded as the ruler of the human empire, Emperor Malakor Sol-Zenith, Caelum's father, looked down from his soaring golden throne.
"My son," Emperor Malakor spoke, his booming, majestic voice carrying the heavy weight of absolute religious authority. "Your grueling years of holy training are officially complete. The high holy sorcerers predicted the exact night you were born beneath the glowing alignment of the Sagittarius Constellation, the celestial cosmic Archer of Light, that you would be the ultimate savior destined to pierce the dark shadows and completely defeat the Demon Lord. We hold exceptionally high expectations for you, Caelum. I hope you will not disappoint our empire."
Caelum struck his fist against his breastplate, bowing deeply. "I will gladly give my life to fulfill the prophecy, Father. The light will guide my blade, and I will pierce the darkness from every estate we cross."
Malakor’s expression turned severe, his eyes darkening with a heavy, long-standing hatred. "Your first official quest will begin at the outer borders. I command you to march your party directly to the ruins of The Kingdom of Elyria, your mother's fallen maternal homeland. As you know, that beautiful, prosperous kingdom was completely invaded, shattered, and destroyed by King Atlas years ago. Use those ruins as your starting base. Gather your strength, and take absolute, bloody revenge for what the demon lineage did to your mother's bloodline."
"Consider it done, Father," Caelum declared, his righteous fury flaring as he envisioned tearing down the demon gates. "I will make the demon bloodline bleed for what they did to my mother's home.

Later that evening, the perspective shifted back to the private sanctuary of Raizael's royal study inside the volcanic palace.
The room was quiet, lit only by the flickering violet candles. Raizael sat relaxed in his heavy leather chair, staring deeply at the massive continental tactical map unfurled across the mahogany desk. Ronin stood quietly by his side, carefully adjusting his iron-rimmed spectacles.
"The integration of the goblin and ogre villages is running smoothly, Sovereign Regent," Ronin reported softly, placing a new ledger on the desk. "Our economic grid is completely stabilized, and the dark-magic crystal shipments have resumed without delay. What will be our next strategic goal?"
Raizael didn't answer with words immediately. He slowly extended a pale hand, his finger tracing across the long, sprawling borders of the map, passing right by the human empire until his fingertip stopped, pressing firmly onto the specific region marked as the ruins of The Kingdom of Elyria.
A slow, dangerously sharp smirk spread across Raizael's lips as he looked up at his butler, his crimson eyes flashing with absolute, terrifying foresight.
"Instruct Commander Karon and Xylar to get their elite vanguard units ready to mobilize," Raizael commanded, his voice dropping into a lethal, low whisper that echoed through the dark study. "We are marching our army straight to the Elyrian ruins within the next few days.”
