Shen Yaozong nodded in agreement.

“Your mom is right. And the prompt said that our transmigration time matches yours. Even if we didn’t want to go, it wouldn’t be up to us. Becoming administrators at least gives us some support—it’s better than panicking when the time comes.”

Shen Shuangshuang was about to say something, but Xiang Meimei gently pressed her hand.

“Don’t say ‘but’.” Xiang Meimei patted her hand. “We’re a family. We should share blessings and hardships together. Besides, with this space, we won’t starve in the ancient world. What’s there to be afraid of?”

Shen Shuangshuang looked into her parents’ determined eyes, her nose tingling, almost bringing tears to her eyes.

She knew her parents were acting without hesitation for her sake. This deep, weighty love filled her heart with warmth and determination.

“All right, then we’ll do it together.” Shen Shuangshuang took a deep breath and spoke into the air.

“I agree to set them as administrators.”

[Ding. Administrator setup successful. Shen Yaozong and Xiang Meimei are now bound to the Four-Leaf Clover Space. Permissions activated.]

The prompt sounded again. The necklace on Shen Shuangshuang’s neck flickered gently, and the previously dark-red leaf turned even more vibrant.

“So now we can also enter the space?”

Curious, Xiang Meimei silently thought, “Enter the planting farm.”

The next moment, the three of them appeared in the wheat field. Xiang Meimei jumped up in delight.

“Really works! Shuangshuang, look!”

Shen Yaozong also tried it, moving from the farm back to the valley with a smile.

“This is much more convenient. Let’s pick some fruits to take back, and while eating, we can plan how to stock supplies.”

The suggestion fit Shen Shuangshuang’s plan perfectly.

They walked into the orchard. Red apples, deep purple grapes, and golden oranges hung from the branches, so tempting that it made their mouths water.

Xiang Meimei plucked a grape and popped it into her mouth. The sweet juice burst on her tongue. Her eyes lit up.

“Even sweeter than imported grapes from the supermarket!”

Shen Yaozong bit into an apple. Crisp, sweet, and juicy—the taste was perfect.

They filled a whole basket with fruits. Shen Shuangshuang willed the basket into the preservation warehouse and then brought her parents back to their villa.

Once back in the living room, Xiang Meimei couldn’t wait. She took the fruits out of the warehouse and laid them on the coffee table.

“Eat more! The fruits from this space are just too good.”

Shen Shuangshuang peeled an orange and looked at her parents.

“Dad, Mom, we have less than a month. We need to stock supplies quickly. What do you think we should start with?”

Shen Yaozong put down his apple and got serious.

“First, food. Productivity in ancient times is low. If a disaster year comes, food is more valuable than gold. Rice, flour, corn, millet—all the staples. The more, the better. Also, seeds—though the space has them, extra is good. You might want to plant different crops in the ancient world.”

“I agree,” Xiang Meimei added.

“Besides staples, we can’t forget oil, salt, soy sauce, and vinegar. Salt in ancient times may be impure, and sauces may taste off. Better to bring some for ourselves and maybe use them to trade.”

Shen Shuangshuang made a mental note.

“Staples and seasonings, I’ll handle. I know some friends in the grain and oil wholesale business. I’ll have them deliver a batch to our villa, and then we can secretly store it in the space. Also, medicines are critical—ancient healthcare is poor, even small injuries or illnesses can be fatal.”

“I know that.” Xiang Meimei had worked as a nurse’s aide and knew her way around medicines.

“Common medicines: cold medicine, fever reducers, anti-inflammatory drugs, painkillers. Also, for injuries—iodine, gauze, bandages, Yunnan Baiyao. Alcohol for disinfection. We should bring oxygen machines and blood pressure monitors too, just in case of an emergency.”

Shen Yaozong nodded.

“And tools. No electricity in ancient times; everything relies on manpower. Hoes, sickles, axes—all must be prepared. Solar generators, solar flashlights, and power banks too. Nights will be pitch dark otherwise.”

“You thought of everything, Dad.” Shen Shuangshuang smiled.

“I’ll add a bit more—clothing. Ancient clothes are thick and cumbersome. Let’s bring lightweight quick-dry clothes, down jackets, and comfortable shoes. Also, women’s supplies—sanitary pads, liners. They didn’t have these in ancient times.”

Xiang Meimei clapped her hands.

“Yes! And cosmetics and skincare. Even if we don’t focus on looks, basic moisturizer and sunscreen are necessary, or our skin will suffer.”

“Food too!” Shen Shuangshuang suddenly remembered.

“Besides staples, we can stock compressed biscuits, chocolate, beef jerky—easy-to-carry snacks. Just in case we’re hungry on the way. Instant noodles, self-heating hot pots—they’ll improve meals occasionally.”

Shen Yaozong frowned.

“Are these items shelf-stable? Even if the space preserves them, we can’t rely entirely on instant foods. Main staples and fresh ingredients should remain the priority.”

“Don’t worry, Dad. I’ll get long shelf-life items, and the space allows us to grow vegetables and raise livestock. The instant foods are just for emergencies.”

Shen Shuangshuang continued,

“Also, we need some money. The ancient world uses gold and silver. I’ll buy gold bars, silver ingots, and loose coins tomorrow for daily use.”

“Gold and silver are essential, but not too much—it draws attention.” Shen Yaozong reminded her.

“Jewelry and gemstones are small and valuable; they can be spent in emergencies.”

Xiang Meimei suddenly had an idea.

“Shuangshuang, can the preservation warehouse store living things? We could bring chicks, ducklings, piglets—then we can breed them in the ancient world without spending money.”

“It should work. I’ll try tomorrow.” Shen Shuangshuang’s eyes lit up.

“Great idea! We can also bring vegetable seeds and flowers to make both the space and the ancient courtyard beautiful.”

The three of them chatted excitedly. The fruit on the coffee table was quickly eaten.

Shen Yaozong checked the time. It was almost midnight.

“Time’s late. Let’s rest today. Tomorrow we start dividing tasks. Shuangshuang, you handle suppliers for big items—food, medicine, gold, silver. I’ll get tools, generators, and seeds. Your mom will handle clothing, daily necessities, and snacks, and pack our luggage.”

“No problem.” Shen Shuangshuang nodded.

“I’ll call Mr. Wang first thing in the morning. He runs a grain and oil wholesale business. I’ll have him prepare 100,000 jin of rice, 50,000 jin of flour, and various grains—more is better. For medicine, I’ll contact Uncle Li; he runs a big pharmacy and can help us stock up.”
