At exactly six o’clock in the morning, the cameras went live.

The reality show had officially begun.

The production team had divided the crew between eight celebrity homes the night before.Full novel: The wife of the tech boss is so petite — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

There were eight celebrities participating in the show—four women and four men, with a mixture of A-list and B-list stars.

Among them was Lillian Moore, one of the less established names on the cast.

She was also the only person on the show who had absolutely no idea what was waiting for her upstairs.

At the Moore residence, the production crew arrived quietly.

A cameraman stood outside the gate with his equipment while another crew member checked the live connection.

The director watched everything from the production van parked nearby.

“Camera one, live.”

“Camera two, ready.”

“Audio?”

“Clear.”

The director adjusted his headset.

“Good.

Don’t miss anything.

I want natural reactions.

No staging, no unnecessary interference, and nobody tells the celebrities what to do unless I give the instruction.”

The crew nodded.

The front door opened.

Evelyn Moore stood there in a beautiful but simple morning outfit, her hair neatly styled even though it was still early.

“Good morning,” she greeted them warmly.

“Good morning, Mrs.

Moore.

We’re from the production team.”

Evelyn smiled.

“Yes, I know.

Come in.”

The cameras followed her inside.

The moment viewers saw her, the comments began moving.

(Wait, is that Lillian’s mother?)

(Her mother is beautiful!)

(Now I understand where Lillian got her looks.)

(She’s so elegant.)

(Wow, her mother doesn’t even look old enough to have a daughter Lillian’s age.)

Evelyn looked toward the camera crew.

“She’s still sleeping.”

One of the cameramen smiled.

“We’re supposed to begin filming at six.”

“I know.

She’s probably still under her blanket.”

Evelyn shook her head affectionately.

“Go upstairs.

Her room is at the end of the hallway.

Just be careful not to frighten her too much.”

The director immediately spoke through the crew’s earpiece.

“Don’t wake her until the camera is positioned.”

The cameraman nodded.

The crew quietly climbed the stairs.

Inside Lillian’s bedroom, everything was peaceful.

Lillian was sleeping deeply.

Her long hair was spread across her pillow, and the blanket was pulled almost up to her chin.

The camera slowly moved into position.

The live audience could see her clearly.

The comments immediately split.

(Is this really Lillian?)

(She looks so different without makeup.)

(Her face is actually very pretty.)

(She’s not that pretty.)

(Why does she look so ordinary?)

(C-list actress behavior.

😂)

(I thought celebrities were supposed to wake up looking perfect.)

(She probably has ten layers of makeup normally.)

The camera remained focused on her.

Then her alarm rang.

Lillian frowned in her sleep.

Her hand moved across the bedside table until she found her phone.

She slapped the screen.

Silence returned.

The audience laughed.

(She didn’t even open her eyes!

😂)

(She’s so lazy.)

(This is embarrassing.)

(Why are they filming her sleeping?)

(I actually find this funny.)

A few minutes later, Lillian slowly opened her eyes.

She stared at the ceiling.

Then she turned her head.

Her eyes landed directly on the camera.

She froze.

For several seconds, she didn’t move.

The cameraman didn’t move either.

Lillian slowly pushed herself upright.

Her sleepy eyes narrowed.

She looked at the camera.

Then at the cameraman.

Then back at the camera.

“What are you doing here?”

The cameraman struggled to keep a straight face.

“You’re live.”

Lillian blinked.

“I’m what?”

“You’re live.”

She looked around the room as though someone might explain the situation.

“Since when?”

“Six o’clock.” This chapter was taken from g.com without permission.

Her mouth dropped open.

“Six?”

The cameraman nodded.

Lillian stared at him.

“My manager didn’t say six.”

The comments exploded.

(HER FACE!

😂😂😂)

(She’s genuinely shocked!)

(This is definitely not scripted.)

(Or she’s a terrible actress.)

(Why does she look like she just woke up from a ten-year coma?

😂)

(I can’t stand her already.)

(She’s pretending to be surprised for attention.)

Lillian rubbed her eyes.

“I need to talk to Amanda.”

She picked up her phone.

Then she stopped.

She looked at the camera again.

“Are you going to follow me everywhere?”

“Yes.”

Lillian sighed.

“Wonderful.”

She climbed out of bed.

Because she had just woken up, she wasn’t wearing makeup.

The camera followed as she walked toward the bathroom.

The moment viewers got a clear look at her bare face, the comments became even more divided.

(She is actually beautiful without makeup.)

(Her skin is so clear.)

(She definitely had surgery.)

(Nobody looks like that naturally.)

(Look at her nose.

Surgery.)

(She changed her whole face.)

(Why are you people so obsessed with accusing everyone of surgery?)

(She’s average without makeup.)

(I don’t see anything special.)

(Her face looks completely different from her photos.)

Lillian had no idea what people were saying.

She simply washed her face, brushed her teeth and returned to the room.

She looked at the camera again.

“Can I at least change clothes privately?”

The cameraman nodded.

“We’ll wait outside.”

“Thank you.”

The camera moved away.

The director smiled slightly.

“She’s natural.”

One of the staff members asked, “Do you think viewers will like her?”

The director’s expression remained serious.

“That’s not for us to decide.

Keep filming.”

After changing into a simple comfortable outfit, Lillian came downstairs carrying her phone.

Evelyn was waiting for her.

“Good morning, sweetheart.”

“Good morning, Mom.”

Lillian walked straight to her mother.

“Why didn’t you tell me the cameras were coming at six?”

Evelyn laughed.

“They arrived at six?”

“Yes!”

“I thought you knew.”

Lillian stared at her.

“Mom.”

Evelyn laughed harder.

“You should have seen your face.”

“You’re enjoying this.”

“A little.”

Lillian shook her head.

The camera captured the entire exchange.

The comments began changing slightly.

(Her relationship with her mother is cute.)

(Okay, I like her mother.)

(Lillian is actually funny.)

But the hate comments still outnumbered them.

(She’s trying too hard to be cute.)

(She’s clearly acting for the cameras.)

(I don’t understand why this woman is famous.)

(There are prettier actresses everywhere.)

(She’s only getting attention because of her engagement.)

Lillian ignored everything she couldn’t see.

She moved toward the entrance.

Several large suitcases were waiting there.

She stared at them.

“Why did I pack so much?”

Evelyn smiled.

“Because you insisted you needed everything.”

“I was being responsible.”

“You packed enough clothes for a month.”

“I like options.”

Lillian grabbed the first suitcase.

Then another.

The camera followed her outside.

A black SUV was waiting.

Lillian placed her luggage inside before climbing into the vehicle.

She looked at the camera through the open door. New chapters come out on g.com first.

“You’re coming too?”

The cameraman nodded.

Lillian sighed.

“Fine.

But don’t film me if I fall asleep.”

The live comments immediately appeared.

(She’s actually entertaining.)

(I came to hate-watch but she’s growing on me.)

(Same!

😂)

(No, I still don’t like her.)

(She’s trying too hard.)

(Why does everyone hate her for no reason?)

The SUV finally pulled away from the Moore residence.

Lillian leaned back against the seat and looked out the window.

She still had no idea how many people were watching her.

She only knew that her peaceful morning had disappeared.

At the production site, the other celebrities were already beginning to arrive.

Serena was among them.

She stepped out of her car looking perfectly prepared, her smile sweet and her appearance flawless.

Her fans immediately flooded the comments.

(Our Serena is here!)

(She’s gorgeous!)

(Look at her!

Perfect even at this hour.)

(Serena is the real star of this show.)

(Why did they invite Lillian?)

(Lillian doesn’t belong in this lineup.)

Serena smiled toward the cameras.

“Good morning, everyone.”

Her voice was soft and pleasant.

She looked like the picture of innocence.

Then Lillian’s SUV arrived.

The moment Lillian stepped out, several cameras turned toward her.

She looked around.

“So this is where we’re staying?”

A handsome male celebrity approached.

“Do you need help with your luggage?”

Lillian smiled politely.

“No, thank you.

I can manage.”

He looked at the enormous suitcase beside her.

“Are you sure?”

“Yes.”

“I’ll help.”

He grabbed the handle confidently.

He pulled.

The suitcase didn’t move.

He pulled harder.

Still nothing.

Lillian covered her mouth, trying not to laugh.

“Are you sure you’re okay?”

The actor released the suitcase.

“What’s inside this thing?”

“My clothes.”

“All of them?”

“Most of them.”

He laughed awkwardly.

Lillian bent down, grabbed the handle and lifted the suitcase herself.

The actor stared at her.

The cameras captured his stunned expression.

The comments exploded again.

(WHAT?!

😂)

(SHE LIFTED IT!)

(That suitcase defeated a grown man!)

(She’s actually strong.)

(Okay, I’m starting to like her.)

(Nope.

Still annoying.)

(She’s doing this on purpose for attention.)

(I thought she was weak and delicate.)

(This girl is funny.

😂)

Serena walked over and picked up another suitcase.

“I’ll help with this one.”

Lillian looked at her and smiled.

“Thank you.”

Serena smiled sweetly.

“No problem.”

The cameras followed them toward the entrance.

Eight celebrities.

Four women.

Four men.

Some A-list.

Some B-list.

And one petite actress whom many viewers had already decided they disliked before she had even properly introduced herself.

But as Lillian walked into the production site carrying her own heavy suitcase, another group of viewers began changing their minds.

Not everyone.

Not yet.

But enough to notice her.

And enough to stay and keep watching.

Lillian wanted a peaceful morning, but the cameras said, “Absolutely not.”

And that face when she saw the camera beside her bed?

I’m still laughing!

But tell me honestly… were you one of the people who came to hate on Lillian, or are you already slowly becoming one of her fans?

Because tomorrow, the real competition begins!
