The massive white fox didn’t immediately attack.

Instead, it raised one of its huge, furred paws and lazily began licking it, displaying the calm, arrogant nature typical of high-tier magical beasts.

After a brief moment, its piercing blue eyes shifted toward Shen Tian.Full novel: Third Rate Villain: Stealing Heroines and Opportunities — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

With a sharp, condescending glare, the beast spoke, its voice echoing like resonant thunder through the quiet forest:

“Young friend…

if I were you, I would leave right now and take Yui Ling with you.”

The fox then turned its gaze back to the blood-eyed figure of Shen Hao, its expression darkening with subtle disappointment.

“I originally came here to speak directly to you, Shen Hao,” the fox continued, its aura flaring softly.

“But it seems you have completely lost your mind to this vile power.

her voice cold and commanding.

“Take Yui Ling, your lover, and leave this place immediately.”

Shen Tian’s cheeks flushed slightly at her words.

He looked toward the unconscious Yui Ling and gave a firm nod.

Despite his shattered body and severe injuries, he forced himself up and staggered toward her.

SWOOSH!

Before Shen Tian could take more than a few steps, Shen Hao’s bloody, possessed form moved.

A massive, demonic hand woven from dark crimson energy erupted beside him, tearing through the air at blinding speed straight toward Shen Tian’s back.

However, the fox spirit was already one step ahead.

With a gentle flick of her tail, a dense wave of white, cloud-like fog swept across the battlefield.

The misty barrier swallowed the demonic strike whole, utterly smothering the violent crimson energy before it could ever reach Shen Tian.

In the blink of an eye, the giant fox spirit blurred into motion, multiplying into hundreds of identical illusions.

Out of the vast army charging across the clearing, only one was real, but every single clone exuded the exact same majestic, crushing pressure.

In unison, the army of giant foxes lunged directly toward Shen Hao.

At the exact same moment, Shen Tian reached out toward Yui Ling.

“HA—HA—HAHAHAHA!”

Before Shen Tian’s fingers could touch even a single strand of her hair, and right before the wave of fox clones could make contact with Shen Hao, a bloodcurdling, demonic laugh echoed through the entire forest.

The sound vibrated through the ground, twisted, ancient, and heavy with pure, suffocating evil.

The moment the demonic laughter struck their ears, the fox spirit instantly halted her clones in mid-air, her piercing blue eyes shrinking in shock.

Shen Tian froze on the spot, his hand trembling inches above Yui Ling, completely paralyzed by the sheer terror hanging in the air.

“A pathi Heaven’s Chosen One and a pathetic little fox…

Do you truly ants believe you can stop me?”

The voice didn’t just vibrate through the air—it slammed directly into their minds, deep, terrifying, and drenched in endless malice.

The moment those words echoed, both Shen Tian and the giant fox spirit froze, their entire bodies trembling uncontrollably.

An suffocating pressure settled over them, making them feel as if hundreds of thousands of sharp, invisible blades were hovering inches from their throats, ready to slice their bodies into pieces at any given second.

The five-meter-tall fox spirit was trembling violently from the lingering aura of that ancient demonic entity.

Overwhelmed by absolute terror, her magnificent body began to shrink rapidly, condensing down until she was no larger than a ordinary, wild fox, shivering pathetically on the grass.

Cold sweat poured down the fox spirit’s face and her eyes widened in terror of ancient aura.

Her majestic posture crumbled, and her voice shook as she forced out a reply:

“I…

I thought you were completely unconscious, that your body was merely moving on violent instincts powered by demonic energy….P-Please spare me, Ancient One!

I…

I have no real connection to that young man!

I was merely bound to him!”

alive?”

A low, haunting chuckle echoed from Shen Hao’s throat, growing into a cold, mocking laughter that vibrated through the dense forest.

“It seems you still haven’t realized what kind of situation you are in.”

Shen Hao slowly raised his head, his spine snapping straight as he adjusted his stance.

The unnatural, awkward movements of a marionette vanished in an instant, replaced by the fluid, commanding posture of an absolute ruler.

Yet, there was nothing human about him now.

His long silver white hair had turned completely snow-white, dancing wildly against the dark aura surrounding him.

Coupled with his glowing blood-red eyes, he exuded a horrifying, divine demonic presence that felt like an ancient terror awakened from the abyss.

CRACK!

Under the crushing, god-like pressure, every single one of the hundreds of fox clones shattered into light and vanished into thin air like popped bubbles.

Shen Tian staggered backward, his eyes bulging as if they were about to pop right out of his skull.

PUFF!

A massive jet of dark blood erupted from his mouth.

The suffocating aura tore through his flesh, forcing blood to seep out from every single pore until his entire body was painted crimson.

Suddenly, the sky turned pitch black.

Heavy, apocalyptic clouds rolled in within seconds, and violently jagged streaks of lightning slammed into the ground all around Shen Hao and Shen Tian, shaking the very earth.

Shen Hao slowly tilted his head, gazing up at the roaring storm with cold indifference.

His voice was terrifyingly calm, yet it carried an ancient, suffocating weight:

“Heaven’s Will…

trying to stop me and save your so-called Chosen One?”

A dark, arrogant smirk played on his lips.

“Unless the Dragon kings or immortal emperor itself descends, you can’t stop me.”

Shen Hao lazily raised his hand toward the sky and flicked his wrist.

FOOM!

Instantly, as if obeying the absolute command of a monarch, the swirling storm clouds dissolved into nothingness.

The striking lightning vanished, the dark skies cleared in a fraction of a second, and bright, warm sunlight flooded back over the forest.

In an instant, the atmosphere transformed completely.

Vibrant green life surged through the forest as lush vegetation bloomed, making the surrounding woods look like a hidden paradise.

The weather became breathtakingly serene and pleasant.

Had Shen Tian not been bleeding profusely from every inch of his body, he would have loved to simply sit back and enjoy the peaceful breeze.

CRACKLE!

Unfortunately, there was no time to admire the beauty.

The suffocating, monstrous pressure condensed into a deadly force, swelling inside his flesh.

Blood spurted uncontrollably from his pores, turning his entire frame deep crimson.

BOOM!

Before Shen Tian could even utter a final scream, his shattered body exploded into a violent spray of gore.

Flesh, bone fragments, and blood scattered across the blooming green grass, leaving behind nothing but a gruesome stain under the bright, warm sunlight.

Present time–

THUMP!

The second Shen Tian exploded into a shower of gore, the invisible, suffocating grip bound to Shen Hao’s soul snapped.

The overwhelming memory connection shattered into a million pieces.

Shen Hao flinched violently, staggering backward as he instantly ripped his hand away from the ominous Black Sphere.

Haa…

Haa…

He fell to his knees, gasping for air as cold sweat drenched his entire body. Enjoying the story? Read on at g.com.

His chest heaved, and his heart hammered against his ribs like a trapped beast.

Panic and sheer terror flooded his eyes as he looked up at the floating dark orb.

What…

what on earth was that?!

The horrific realization hit him like a physical blow.

Just seconds ago, his mind had been locked away in a dark void while something else—a monstrous, ancient entity—had taken absolute control of his body.

It had spoken through his mouth, commanded the skies, and erased Shen tian without lifting a finger.

“Who are you?!”Shen hao stared frantically into the endless abyss around him.

Deep down, he was dead certain that whatever terrifying entity had just possessed his body was bound to this eerie White Space.

“Answer me!

Who the hell are you, and what do you want from me?!”

he demanded again, his chest heaving as fear and fury fought for control over his mind.

Silence.

No voice answered.

No dark aura flared.

The absolute, suffocating quiet of the space was the only response he received.

“Look, I know you’re right here inside this White Space with me.

Stop playing these useless mind games and dropping dramatic suspense!

Whoever or whatever you are—show yourself!

Face me!”

He crossed his arms, his posture tight, refusing to back down even a single inch.

His eyes swept across the vast, featureless realm, searching for even the slightest flicker of movement, a ripple in the light, or a shadow on the floor.

“But , nothing happened”

Suddenly, images of Yui Ling flashed through his mind.

Shen Hao paused.

A cold reality hit him—if that ancient monster hadn’t taken control of his body at that exact moment, Shen Tian would have already taken Yui Ling and vanished without a trace, leaving him trapped in a helpless coma.

Shen Hao let out a long breath, the tension in his shoulders easing just a fraction.

“I don’t know who you are but…

, Thank you…

If you hadn’t intervened back there, I might have lost Yui Ling forever.”

He went quiet for a brief second, organizing his thoughts, before continuing with absolute Conviction.

He took a step toward the dark sphere, his gaze locked onto the quiet darkness.

It hadn’t vanished.

In fact, it still pulsed with a faint, dark glow in the middle of the endless space.

That could only mean one thing—

Shen Tian’s memories were far from fully consumed.

There were still crucial secrets, hidden pasts, and unrevealed truths waiting inside.

Step by step, he walked toward the floating orb.

Each step felt heavy.

Reaching out his hand, his fingers slowly closed the distance until they made contact with the cold, dark surface of the sphere once more.

FLASH!

In an instant, another intense wave of foreign memories surged straight into his mind like a crashing tide.
