Fu Mo had to admit that the moment he saw Create Mod (Ponder), he wanted it.
Back when he played the Create section of modpacks, he had used the press-[W]-to-ponder feature, and it had left his young mind utterly shaken.
Simply put, the feature showed you every possible way to use an object and exactly how to use it.
It broke down all the relevant knowledge and fed it to you piece by piece.
Fu Mo glanced at the price of Create Mod (Ponder).
It actually cost 90 Achievement Points.
That was rather expensive, but compared to what it could do, the price seemed incredibly affordable.
Fu Mo immediately bought it.
[Create Mod (Ponder) installed.]
Once the MOD was installed, Fu Mo eagerly pulled out his phone to test its new ability.
The instant his gaze fell upon the phone in his hand, a line of small text appeared at the bottom of his vision.
[Begin pondering?]
When Fu Mo silently answered yes, an illusory projection appeared before him.
Within it, the phone in his hand was continuously disassembled until it had been reduced to a pile of tiny components.
Whenever he shifted his gaze to one of them, an explanation appeared beside it, telling him what it was, how to use it, how to make it, and what situations it could be used in.
The relevant knowledge surged into his mind like a tide.
Just one glance was enough for him to remember it perfectly.
When Fu Mo stopped focusing on a single tiny component and looked at all the phone’s parts together, Create Mod (Ponder) presented him with even more ways to combine or modify them.
If he wanted, he could even transform the phone before him into an entirely different kind of technology!
Fu Mo stopped pondering and leaned back against the sofa, closing his eyes.
Even though he had stopped, every method he’d just seen remained engraved in his mind.
He couldn’t forget them even if he tried.
“This is seriously broken…”
This could no longer be called pondering.
It should be called Orks Logic Power!
Even if he stared at the sofa and pondered how to transform it into an aircraft carrier, Create Mod (Ponder) could provide him with an extremely detailed plan.
Granted, the sofa’s only uses in that plan were either to remove its internal springs and install them elsewhere or to move the entire sofa directly into the aircraft carrier’s reception room, so it wasn’t particularly useful.
Even so, Create Mod (Ponder) had genuinely provided him with a method for building an aircraft carrier.
As long as he gathered enough materials, he could follow its completely beginner-friendly tutorial and assemble one piece by piece!
Fu Mo suddenly thought of something very interesting and immediately searched online with his phone.
An image appeared before him—a photo of Nous, the Aeon of [Erudition], kindly provided by an online user.
According to the information he’d found, before ascending to godhood, Nous had been an astronomical computer created by Zandar One Kuwabara, Seat One of the Genius Society.
Now that Fu Mo had Create Mod (Ponder), couldn’t he build one too?
Fu Mo glanced at Nous in the photo and silently said, ‘Ponder.’ The next second, the familiar projection reappeared, presenting him with an enormous number of construction plans.
There were plans for the original Nous as well as improved versions.
Fu Mo looked through them for a while before muttering a single word.
“Badass.”
This Orks Logic Power truly defied all reason.
It could even replicate an Aeon?
Or would the result merely be a replica of Nous’s prototype from before he became a god?
Fu Mo had no way of knowing.
He glanced at the plans provided by Create Mod (Ponder), but he currently possessed none of the materials required to construct Nous, and the construction process was extraordinarily complicated.
If he wanted to build one, it would probably take years.
“Building a god sounds interesting, but I’ll wait until I’ve unlocked Creative Mode.
Instead of gathering all those materials, I might as well grind Achievement Points and buy Equivalent Exchange.”
Just as Fu Mo canceled the pondering and was about to do something else, he unexpectedly discovered that the floor beneath his feet had vanished.
In its place was a sea of binary data formed from zeros and ones, holding him aloft and preventing him from falling.
‘What was going on?’
Before Fu Mo could figure it out, the roar of machinery rang out above his head.
He immediately drew his weapon and snapped his head up, only to see an enormous figure and a gigantic crimson indicator light.
Nous hung high above the sea of data, looking down at him.
The moment Fu Mo saw Nous, he immediately began pondering him.
All kinds of detailed specifications and operating instructions appeared.
“So it really is Nous himself…
Why would a god suddenly seek out an outsider like me?
To deport me?”
Although unexpectedly coming face-to-face with a god was surprising, Fu Mo wasn’t particularly panicked.
He had unlimited Revival anyway.
Nous didn’t answer. Enjoying the story? Read on at g.com.
He simply remained suspended in the sky, silently watching Fu Mo.
The two stared at each other for an entire minute.
Just as Fu Mo began to grow impatient, Nous finally acted.
Streams of data converged before him, forming a small orb of light that slowly floated toward Fu Mo.
Fu Mo initially thought Nous was attacking him, but the orb of data moved even slower than an old lady in a wheelchair.
He quickly realized it wasn’t an attack.
Nous wanted to give him something, so he reached out and caught the orb.
“What does this mean?”
Fu Mo held the orb, which MC identified as gibberish, in his hand, unable to understand what Nous intended.
Nous’s mechanically synthesized voice suddenly echoed inside Fu Mo’s mind.
[Question: What can you see inside this?]
Hearing this, Fu Mo lowered his head and looked at the orb in his hand.
With the naked eye, he could only see its dazzling exterior, but he also had Create Mod (Ponder).
The instant he began pondering, Fu Mo saw through the orb’s glittering exterior.
Inside was a complex web of circuits tangled like tree roots.
But when Fu Mo looked even deeper, he saw something that left him astonished.
In one scene, Jing Yuan and a group of strangers were fighting a mountain-sized woman in an unfamiliar place, eventually defeating her.
The scene then changed.
Above Luofu, Jing Yuan, Fu Xuan, and the others fought the same woman he’d seen earlier.
In the background was the nearly destroyed Luofu Xianzhou.
They ultimately won by a narrow margin, but suffered devastating losses.
“Are these…
scenes from the future?”
Fu Mo looked up at Nous in surprise, unable to understand why he had suddenly shown him these things.
At the same time, another question occurred to him.
“Why don’t I appear in any of these futures?”
