The lower vault of Pier 40 erupted into a vortex of relentless high-stakes combat.
Peter hit the ground, bracing to stop them but before he could take a single step forward a wall of crimson a shrouded Hand ninjas appeared while heavily armed criminals started discharging a devastating volley of bullets in his direction.
“Vigilantes!” Bakuto roared from behind the lines, his blade flashing under the dim vault light.
“Protect the ledgers!”.
“Go, Spider-Man!” Daredevil yelled, his cowl tilted as he tracked the shifting wind resistance of the blades.
“Keep the subordinates occupied!
Both of us will handle those two!”.
The division of labor was instantaneous.
While Peter pivoted out of the way of the gun fire, Daredevil and Iron Fist engaged Matsu’o and Bakuto in a brutal duel.
The two Hand leaders proved to be stronger than Daredevil and Iron Fist as they started exchanging moves.
Matsu’o’s cybernetic hand glinted dangerously, his steel blades slicing through the air with mechanical lethal precision that forced Danny Rand to continuously burn his chi to block the onslaught.
Bakuto moved like a cold shadow, his ancient katana executing flawless blinding slashes that pushed Daredevil’s radar sense to its absolute limits forcing the blind hero to continuously parry rather than press the attack.
Meanwhile, out in the main terminal, Peter was systematically dismantling the entire subordinate army.
Relying on his reflexes, he avoided the incoming bullets.
His impossible agility allowed him to twist mid-air between bullets trails, vaulting off concrete pillars and using his superior strength to rip the heavy automatic rifles straight out of the criminals’ hands.
THWIP-THWIP-THWIP!
His web-shooters fired with high-pressure force, pinning dozens of ninjas and mercenaries securely to the steel structural pillars before they could even re-align their crosshairs.
Seeing their subordinate forces completely decimated by Spider-Man in less than twenty seconds, Matsu’o and Bakuto realized they were losing control of the pier.
Backed against the reinforced vault, they slammed their heels into the blood-stained concrete and withdrew into a synchronized, protective circle.
“The alliance dies in the dark!” Matsu’o hissed.
Together, the two Hand leaders began weaving their hands in a complex terrifying rhythm, channeling the ancient sorcery of their cult.
A deep, unnatural bass hum vibrated through the steel foundations of Pier 40.
Suddenly, the shadows in the corners of the room began to detach from the walls expanding into a massive swirling vortex of pure unholy black fog.
They were unleashing a dark mystical shadow spell to try and blind the three heroes, creating a shroud of complete darkness to mask a desperate escape.
“Data retrieval completed, Sir!” Homer’s voice suddenly chirped triumphantly through his earpiece, cutting through the mystical hum.
“Bypassing the mainframe encryption was successful.
We have secured ironclad, irrefutable digital evidence against the Kingpin!”
“Good job, Homer!” Peter yelled, his eyes tracking the expanding dark vortex.
“Ironfist!
Daredevil!
They’re trying to smoke-screen out of here!
Break the spell, right now!”
Danny Rand took a deep grounding breath to center his focus as the unnatural unholy black fog threatened to consume the vault.
The ancient energy of K’un-Lun surged down his arm, his right hand erupting into a blinding sun-like radiance that illuminated the dark stone structure.
“Not today!” Danny bellowed, launching himself forward and driving his massive fully charged Iron Fist punch straight into the epicenter of the shadow vortex.
A thunderous BOOM echoed through Pier 40 as a brilliant golden shockwave of pure chi violently tore the shadow spell to absolute ribbons.
The concussive blast blew the fog away but as the light faded the space in front of the reinforced vault doors was empty.
Matsu’o Tsurayaba and Bakuto had manage to retreat successfully using the dark magic to dissolve into the shadows a split second before the punch landed.
Danny fail to prevent the leaders from slipping away.
However, they didn’t leave empty-handed.
During the absolute blinding distraction of the chi explosion and the shadow fight, Daredevil had already made his move.
Moving purely by sound and spatial awareness, he had leapt across the sorting tables, his billy club cable snapping outward to hook a heavy locked steel briefcase.
With a sharp tug, Daredevil snatched the physical ledgers tucking them securely under his arm to ensure the paper trail matched Homer’s digital download.
WHEW-WHEW-WHEW-WHEW!
The sharp echoing sirens of dozens of NYPD tactical cruisers suddenly shattered the night air, their blue and red lights reflecting wildly off the foggy Hudson River outside the broken windows.
“NYPD is breaching the main gates!” Darefevil yelled, his enhanced ears picking up the heavy thud of tactical boots.
“Homer, secure the data logs!” Peter ordered in a hurry.
“Data logs fully isolated and encrypted, Sir” Homer’s voice chirped smoothly in his ear comm.
“The perimeter is swarming.
It is highly advised to clear the sector immediately”.
“We’re done here” Daredevil said, his cowl turning toward the roof structure.
“The police can clean up the subordinates.
We have exactly what we need to bury Fisk”.
“Let’s move!” Danny Rand agreed, leaping up toward the crane framework as his chi slowly subsided.
The three heroes decided to scatter, vaulting out through the shattered skylights and dissolving into the midnight fog just as the heavy steel entry doors were blown open by the police.
Behind them, the heavily armed criminals remained completely immobilized, webbed securely to the structural pillars while the other webbed Hand ninjas started turning into ash.
Later that night, Daredevil dropped silently from the shadows into Captain George Stacy’s office in 19th Precinct, delivering the stolen physical ledgers and Homer’s unredacted digital files directly onto Captain Stacy’s desk.
The evidence was so ironclad, tracing direct banking transactions from Fisk Industries to criminal syndicates and corrupt politicians, that a federal judge signed the warrants within two hours after seeing the evidence.
By dawn, the news channels were a sea of flashing red lights as they broadcast a massive federal raid on Fisk Tower.
Hundreds of agents swarmed the corporate headquarters, seizing assets and dragging Fisk’s high-ranking executives away in handcuffs.
The Kingpin’s corporate shield was completely shattered.
Before splitting up after the successful pier raid, Spider-Man had given the custom encrypted phones to Daredevil and Danny Rand.
These devices would completely ease their future plans if they needed to work together again.
Peter returned to his bedroom in Queens through the window, letting out a long satisfied breath as he stripped off his red-and-blue suit.
He collapsed onto his bed, a broad smile stretching across his face.
He felt incredibly happy that his strategic plan in the Marvel universe was running smoothly.
In less than a week, he had stabilized his high school life, formed a legendary street-level alliance, secured the safety of the mutant community up north and dismantled a multi-billion dollar criminal empire.
But as a transmigrated soul, Peter knew that peace in this universe was always a temporary illusion.
“Homer” Peter murmured, staring up at his ceiling as the morning sun began to peek through the blinds.
“Fisk is going down, the Hand is scrambling and the Defenders have our encrypted lines.
But we can’t get complacent.
We need to prepare for any uncertainty.
When a beast like the Kingpin loses his throne, the power vacuum always attracts something worse”.
“A highly pragmatic assessment, Sir” Homer’s voice chirped smoothly from the desk terminal.
“My predictive algorithms indicate that HYDRA’s top leadership will likely accelerate their covert timelines now that Fisk is no longer in command”.
Peter adjusted his glasses, sitting up.
“Then we upgrade, we calibrate and we keep training.
Whatever the problems that come next…
we need to always be ready for it”.
Over the following week, the streets of New York City were buzzing with an electric unprecedented excitement.
The headlines on every newsstand—from the New York Bulletin to the Daily Globe—screamed the same historic news: Wilson Fisk, the seemingly untouchable Kingpin of Crime, had officially been denied bail and sent to maximum-security prison.
Thanks to the irrefutable evidence secured, his corporate shell companies were dismantled, his syndicates were bankrupt and his empire was completely ash.
But the real miracle was happening in the shadows.
Since putting on the mask, Peter did not have to constantly become Spider-Man to help reduce the crime rate.
Instead of swinging through the freezing night air dodging attacks, he sat comfortably at his desk in Queens, tapping into his supercomputer.
Every single day, Peter and Homer systematically compiled and sent highly encrypted evidence to help solve several long standing cases including cold cases, unsolved murders and high profile robberies—directly to each individual NYPD precinct.
Peter’s strategy was brilliant in its restraint.
Homer only sent just enough critical details, hidden parameters that is missed and forensic breakthrough coordinates for each case, deliberately leaving the police to investigate and execute the final arrests themselves.
This brilliant buffer kept the NYPD active, validated the legal system and completely prevented J.
The detectives did the legwork while Peter just handed them the missing puzzle pieces.
The results were staggering.
This continuous, daily influx of precision data further sent the city’s crime rate to a record historical low.
More importantly, Homer’s calculated rapid fire actions completely prevented any predatory organization whether it was rogue remnants of HYDRA, the Maggia or underground syndicates from stepping into the power vacuum to take over New York after Kingpin’s downfall.
The moment a criminal element tried to organize a turf war or establish a new racket, an anonymous localized data packet hit the local precinct’s terminal and ESU tactical teams breached their doors before the ink on their plans could even dry.
New York was locked down tight, running entirely on Peter’s quiet digital parameters.
While the streets of New York City enjoyed an unprecedented era of peace, the hallways of Midtown High had transformed into a psychological war zone.
Peter walked down the main corridor, completely on his toes.
His spider-sense wasn’t warning him of lethal weapons, but it was continuously tracking three distinct fiercely determined targets.
Liz Allan, Mary Jane Watson, and Gwen Stacy were treating the school day like a strategic occupation.
Every single locker break, library study session or trip to the water fountain was a calculated opportunity for one of them to corner him, drop a brilliant flirtatious comment and try to advance their relationship.
“Parker!
Psst!
Cover team deployed, move, move, move!” Suddenly, Harry Osborn and Ned Leeds materialized out of the crowd grabbing Peter by his jacket sleeves and forcefully pulling him into an empty janitor’s alcove just as MJ and Gwen crossed paths near the AP Bio lab.
“Man, you owe us big time” Ned panted, holding a stack of reference books like a riot shield.
“I just had to pretend I lost my retainers under the bleachers for ten minutes to distract Liz”.
Harry leaned against the mop rack, a massive highly amused smirk plastered across his face.
“Honestly, Pete, we’re starting to wonder.
Are you secretly gay or something?
Because you are currently running away from three of the most stunning girls in Queens like they’re monsters”.
“If I had their attention, I’d be enjoying myself not evading everything like a plague” Harry continued laughing at Peter’s suffering.
Peter rubbed his face, letting out a desperate groan.
“Harry, you don’t understand!
I am fine to date but if I step too fast toward one, the others will be pile on me at the same time!
I don’t even have time to pick one”.
“Well, I hate to be you!” Harry muttered, his smirk vanishing as his eyes darted toward the hallway.
Peter stepped out of the alcove, only to find his path completely blocked.
Flash Thompson stood in the center of the hall, flanked by three of his heavy-set football goons.
Flash’s face was twisted in pure jealous rage, he had been watching Liz try to corner Peter all morning and his fragile ego had officially reached its breaking point.
“Hey, look!
it’s the school dork” Flash sneered, stepping forward and shoving Peter roughly against the lockers.
“You think you’re pretty clever, don’t you, Parker?
Whispering to Liz, trying to act like you’re someone special?
I’m going to teach you a lesson about staying in your lane”.
The surrounding students immediately backed away, forming a wide circle.
Peter didn’t retaliate.
He didn’t fire a web and he didn’t use physical strength to throw Flash through the ceiling.
He just let out a heavy sigh, stepped out into the open space “Flash, just go to class” Peter said calmly.
“You really don’t want to do this”.
“Shut up!” Flash roared, throwing a massive heavy right hook straight at Peter’s jaw.
To the rest of the school, Flash’s punch was a blur.
To Peter’s reflexes, the fist moved like a sluggish snail crawling through wet cement.
Peter didn’t even flinch.
He simply executed a slip to the left, letting the fist pass so close he could feel the displacement of air against his hair.
Flash staggered forward, completely off-balance, and swung a vicious left cross.
Peter dropped into a textbook boxing stance, keeping his hands up to protect his face.
Peter bobbed beneath the blow with absolute, effortless grace.
“Stop!
I don’t want to fight you”.
For the next sixty seconds, the hallway witnessed an impossible display of defensive agility.
Flash and his goons rushed in, throwing a relentless flurry of wild punches and heavy kicks.
Peter didn’t strike back once.
He just moved his feet in a seamless dance, slipping, sliding and ducking around every single attack with precision, looking entirely bored while keeping his hands firmly in his boxing guard.
“Stand still, you freak!” Flash screamed, thoroughly humiliated and completely out of breath.
Flash’s face bright red as he lunged forward for a final, desperate two-handed tackle.
Peter decided it was time to end the circus.
As Flash threw himself forward, Peter stepped inside the guard, completely bypassing the momentum.
Moving with absolute control so he wouldn’t cause permanent damage, Peter delivered one sharp lightning-fast punch directly into Flash’s stomach.
OOF.
The sound of the air violently escaping Flash’s lungs echoed through the silent corridor.
Flash’s eyes went wide with pure shock as he instantly doubled over, clutching his midsection and dropped straight to his knees on the floor, gasping for breath but completely unable to speak.
Peter snapped back into a relaxed stance, dusting off his jacket.
He turned his gaze to the remaining goons, his expression completely calm but his eyes flashing with an underlying formidable intensity.
The goons froze dead in their tracks.
They looked at Flash groveling on the floor, then up at the dorky kid who hadn’t even broken a sweat while dismantling their captain with a single defensive strike.
Terrified, the goons took three steps back.
Right at that exact second, the heavy double doors at the end of the hall opened.
Liz, Gwen and MJ stepped into the corridor, their eyes locking onto the circle then onto Flash on his knees and finally onto Peter, who was casually picking up his dropped history textbook.
The echo of Flash’s breath leaving his lungs had barely faded before Liz, Gwen and MJ marched over simultaneously, their eyes wide as they descended upon the circle like a synchronized strike force.
Liz Allan immediately stepped right past Peter, pointing a fiercely angry finger directly down at Flash who was still groveling on his knees.
“Are you out of your mind, Thompson?!” Liz yelled, her voice echoing off the lockers.
“I told you last week, I am not your girl anymore!
Leave Peter alone, or I swear I’m getting your captaincy revoked!”.
While Liz was ripping into Flash, a funny incident occurred as Gwen and Mary Jane completely misread the final seconds of the fight.
From their angle, Peter was just standing there with his hands up while Flash collapsed, making Gwen and MJ genuinely think that Peter was the one being bullied.
“Peter!
Oh my god, are you okay?” Gwen gasped, rushing to his side and frantically checking his face for bruises, completely convinced he was the victim here.
“Did they hurt you?
This is exactly what I was talking about…
this school lacks basic safety for students!”.
“Yeah, back off, cavemen” MJ hissed, stepping protectively in front of Peter and glaring at Flash’s terrified goons.
“Four against one?
Real classy, Thompson.
Don’t worry, Peter, we won’t let these neanderthals bully you”.
Peter stood entirely frozen, holding his history textbook like a shield “Uh, guys, seriously, I’m fine.
No bullying occurred!
It was just a…
a misunderstanding!”.
While all this was happening, Harry Osborn had already run off to find the teachers, completely missing the fact that Peter had already won the fight.
Flash humiliated beyond belief in front of the entire student body and fueled by pure unadulterated rage, pushed himself off the floor.
As Liz turned her back to comfort Peter, Flash clenched his fist and launched a desperate sneak attack, lunging straight for the back of Peter’s head.
BEHIND YOU!
WATCH OUT!” Ned Leeds yelled at the top of his lungs from the crowd, waving his arms frantically.
Peter didn’t even need the warning, his spider-sense had already mapped the exact trajectory of Flash’s fist.
With an effortless tilt of his head, Peter perfectly avoided the attack.
Because his agility was so hyper-advanced, he didn’t just dodge but smoothly stepped entirely out of the frame.
Flash’s momentum carried him completely past his target.
With absolutely no resistance, the football captain went flying forward and crashed face-first straight into a row of heavy steel lockers with a thunderous, echoing CLANG.
He crumpled onto a nearby trash can thoroughly defeated.
Peter didn’t touch him at all.
Way at the back of the massive crowd, Jessica Jones watched the entire incident unfold.
She crossed her arms, her dark eyes narrowing with intense curiosity.
She was just incredibly curious as to how the previous dorky kid from class had managed to move with such uncanny effortless fluid grace.
Suddenly, the crowd scattered when a loud authoritative voice boomed down the corridor and a teacher broke up the crowd “WHAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS?!”Mr.
Dell, the chemistry teacher came sprinting around the corner flanked by a frantic Harry Osborn.
Mr.
Dell stopped dead in his tracks, taking in the scene.
He saw Flash Thompson groaning on top of a dented trash can clutching his nose while Peter Parker stood perfectly clean, holding a textbook surrounded by three of the most popular girls in school.
Mr.
Dell’s jaw dropped as he pointed a trembling finger at Peter.
“Parker!
Did you…
did you just bully Flash Thompson?!
Look at him!
He’s a varsity athlete and you’ve dented the school property!
Principal’s office!
Right now!”.
Peter’s jaw dropped.
He looked at Flash then at the dented locker.
He grumbled to himself “I can’t catch a break!”.
Peter sat rigidly in a plastic chair inside Principal Morita’s office, feeling like a criminal in a courtroom.
To his left, Flash Thompson sat holding an ice pack to his nose, flanked by his two burly football goons who were staring at the floor in absolute silence.
“Let me get the facts straight” Principal Morita sighed, rubbing his temples as he looked over his desk.
“Mr.
Dell claims he found Flash crumpled over a garbage can, a locker door heavily dented and you, Parker standing over them like a victorious gladiator.
Care to explain how a straight-A student becomes a hallway brawler?”.
“Principal Morita, it’s a massive misunderstanding!” Ned Leeds burst through the office door, dragging Harry Osborn with him.
“As Peter’s legal-adjacent academic advisors, we have to review the whole situation!
Flash launched himself forward with a force that completely exceeded his center of gravity!
Peter didn’t even fight back!
He merely use evasive maneuver!”.
“What Ned is trying to say, sir” Harry cut in, leaning smoothly against the principal’s filing cabinet “is that Flash basically bullied himself.
He threw a punch, Peter moved and the locker happened to be the only thing willing to catch Flash’s face.
If anything, the school should be charging Flash for damages, not Peter”.
“Enough!” Principal Morita slammed his hand on the desk, cutting them off.
“Regardless of who swung first, school policy is absolute.
Hallway violence triggers automatic administrative action.
Parker, Thompson, Jackson, West and Harrison are officially suspended for three days”.
Before Peter could even process his first-ever academic suspension, the heavy wooden door to the office swung open.
Uncle Ben walked in, wearing his sharpest casual jacket looking entirely calm but completely commanding the room.
Flash’s parents who had arrived minutes earlier, instantly puffed up their chests to start an argument.
“Principal Morita” Uncle Ben said, his voice deep warm completely easing the high-tension matter.
He nodded politely to the defensive parents.
“I understand there was a disturbance.
But before we finalize any suspensions or start placing blame on young Peter here, I think we need to look at the evidences and witnesses”.
“Mr.
Parker, the physical evidence is a dented locker….” Morita started.
“Excuse me, Mr.
Morita?
I think I can settle the issue” Every head in the room turned.
Mary Jane Watson stepped into the office.
She casually tossed a USB flash drive onto the Principal’s desk.
“What is this, Ms.
Watson?” Morita asked, blinking.
“That is a synchronized recording compiled from several kids’ phones in the hallway” MJ said crossing her arms and giving Peter a knowing wink.
“Turns out, half the junior class had their cameras rolling the second Flash tried to corner Peter.
If you hit play, you’ll see Flash started the fight.
Flash literally takes himself out by crashing face-first into the locker”.
Principal Morita plugged the drive into his monitor.
The room went dead silent as the video played out in crystal-clear definition.
It showed Peter dropping into a perfect, defensive boxing guard, effortlessly slipping and ducking a flurry of twenty punches without ever striking back, followed by Flash’s final disastrous lunge straight into the steel locker door while Peter simply stepped aside.
Flash’s parents went completely pale, their arguments instantly evaporating.
Principal Morita slowly closed the video file, clearing his throat.”Well” Morita said, looking strictly at Flash and his goons.
“The physical data does not lie.
The suspension for Peter Parker is officially revoked.
Mr.
Thompson…
your three days have just turned into two weeks.
Everyone else, clear out”.
Peter walked down the school steps alongside Uncle Ben, letting out a massive sigh of relief as Ned and Harry cheered from the courtyard.
MJ, Liz, and Gwen were standing near the bike racks, all flashing smiles.
“Well, that was close” Uncle Ben chuckled as they climbed into the family car.
“You’ve got good friends there.
That Mary Jane girl is really something”.
“Tell me about it, Ben” Peter smiled, leaning his head against the window as the car pulled out onto the Queens streets.
“Good” Uncle Ben smiled, his expression turning bright with a different kind of excitement as he tapped the steering wheel.
“Because now that your school record is perfectly clean…
we have a very important phone call waiting for us at home.
That clean-energy firm I pitched your lithium-ion battery to?
They just sent over a preliminary contract, Peter”.
