"How did you do that!?!?" Enrique was beyond surprised to say the least but Lucifer simply shrugged his shoulders.

"I still remember the exact feeling that I got when the code was compiled and absorbed by the mana crystal."

"Reversing that to connect to the code I’d written myself was just easy since I already knew the code and the compiled executable’s mana fluctuation."Full novel: Transmigrated As A Half-Demon, I Have A Glitchy Gamer System — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Sigh...

Enrique sighed audibly before speaking up again.

"Alright... alright... I guess my newly obtained son is much more talented than me! No need to rub it in your old man’s face and leave him behind to suffer on his own!! Have some pity for me!!"

Lucifer laughed genuinely and then tried to cheer up a broken hearted Enrique by saying-

"It’s alright... I’m sure you can do just as many cool things if not more! So get to making everything required for that game and show me the artificing you’re so proud of!!"

"Yeah!!!" Enrique shouted out loud with a cheer before placing his hand on Lucifer’s shoulder.

"Thanks, I’ll show you my pride now! So be careful and watch it fully with great attention! Don’t you dare miss how great your old man actually is!"

"Hehe... I won’t, I won’t, so get to it already! I can’t wait to see everyone play!"

Enrique nodded, then turned to face the table before closing his eyes for a second and taking a deep breath. He then let it all out in one powerful exhale both from his nose and his mouth.

As soon as Enrique opened his eyes again, he was no more the same easy going man Lucifer had seen earlier.

Lucifer didn’t know what he looked like but he felt suppressed in Enrique’s presence both physically and mana wise, as if he were standing in front of a powerful king!

Enrique’s gaze was focused but his muscles were relaxed.

He clenched his fist as the mana crystals in his hand turned into dust instantly, forming a thick blue mist that surrounded his fist in thin streams.

The mist hovered in the air for a second before everything changed!

The mist began to glow brightly before that burning light was quickly given form, first came the horns, then the head, then the neck and the torso and finally the limbs and the tail.

A demon that looked like the warden formed out of the dust of the mana crystals that Enrique had just crushed.

The demon was still blue in colour, but not for long, almost immediately Enrique began to give it a pale skin so realistic that the small two foot demon looked like someone had shrunk an actual demon and placed it before Enrique.

Lucifer beside Enrique was surprised since he could feel exactly what was happening because of his same property as a light bearer.

’Wait a second!’

’Did he just convert the mana into light and then give it the colour and shape he wanted!?’

’You can do that!!!???’

But true to his promise, Lucifer said not a single word and simply stood aside with his mouth agape.

"Will this work?" Enrique asked in a no nonsense tone and Lucifer quickly nodded, "It’s perfect. Now we only need to add in the timer, the sound effects, and the reward mechanism."

Enrique nodded and quickly got to work doing exactly what Lucifer had demanded of him without another question.

It took them the better half of the evening just to work on everything else that was required for the game.

Most of which time was spent selecting the appropriate rewards for the appropriate level of skill out of all the things in Enrique’s massive workshop.

It also took time for Lucifer to playtest the game to balance those rewards and Enrique recording a few sound effects to play back.

In the end after everything was done, Enrique asked Lucifer a strange question, "Will this really be fun?"

He truly couldn’t see the appeal in what they were doing...

"Will people truly be interested in beating up a demon dummy? Isn’t that just normal training? People seem to hate training the most in the surveys you gave out for me to fill."

"Hold up! Let me cook!" Lucifer said as he continued to modify the timer and the rewards according to what he thought felt best.

Since he didn’t currently have any play testers and his own play testing could only take him so far since he didn’t have the required skill to beat this game, yet.

In fact, him playing it was downright abysmal which was why Enrique was questioning if Lucifer’s game was any good.

"What do you want to cook?" Enrique asked bewildered, wondering if Lucifer had a new demand he needed to fulfill but Lucifer simply waved it off without explaining and after a few more minutes spoke up happily.

"Come! Let’s go!! I can’t wait to see people play with this!"

Enrique scratched his face slightly, "You can’t come, remember? People still don’t like you very much... and since your mother hasn’t come to tell us that things have gotten better yet it’s better you stay hidden..."

"Oh come on!" Lucifer shook his head.

"I’m obviously coming! How can a craftsman not see how his work is being used! Plus! Can’t you use those light bearer powers of yours to turn me invisible for a short duration of time!?"

Enrique’s eyes froze for a second before he sighed and nodded, "Alright... if you say so..."

"You remember what to say to everyone right?"

"I do..." Enrique nodded, remembering Lucifer’s short speech that was prepared for him.

"Remember... you must get them all to play the game! Every single last one of them! That’s the only way I’ll be satisfied!"

Enrique nodded and the two of them set off towards one of the grounds in the village that was open to the public.

As they left, Enrique informed the guards to gather everyone in the ground they were heading towards.

The guards bowed politely before looking at Lucifer one last time and rushing away to inform everyone in the village.

Lucifer and Enrique reached the grounds before everyone else, there were no kids in this ground too or perhaps they were currently eating dinner as Lucifer guessed.

But either way Lucifer quickly prepared the game by tying up the demon dummy from a high tree branch that existed in the ground and stood beside Enrique smiling.

"Alright, turn me invisible."

"You already are." Enrique nodded, "Pun intended."

"Cool... then now we wait for everyone to come play the game!" Lucifer said, ignoring Enrique laughing at his own dad joke on the side.

"By the way... what’s the game called?" Enrique asked softly.

"Pinata Smash!" Lucifer responded, in spite of his invisibility.
