VIVIAN
Vivian stared at Ariel in the eyes. Her hands were still trembling. She tried to hide her fear by acting uninterested.
"You mean... there are transmigrators here? That’s...kinda...cool."
Ariel nodded casually. "Yes."
Vivian swallowed. "And what happens when you find them?"
Ariel’s sweet smile never changed. "We kill them."
Vivian’s heart dropped. "Kill them?"
"Yes."
Ariel continued treating the bruise on Vivian’s arm as if they were discussing the weather.
"They stole our technology and created even better Mecha machines."
Vivian’s eyes widened. "They did what?"
"They created machine guns."
Ariel smiled. "One of their Mechas can destroy three of ours."
Vivian’s face slowly went pale. That’s impossible.
She knew what those machines were capable of.
But if their technology had advanced beyond Haxia’s...What could go wrong next?
How did they get into someone’s novel? Or was it part of the Author plot she never read? She was stupid not to finish the book..If only she knew she wouldn’t be so invested in Vivian character and never completed the book since Vivian Died. At this point she had no idea what to do!!
"They have their own city?" Vivian asked.
"Yes. Outside Haxia."
Ariel tilted her head. "It’s called the Superior World. Some people call them Superior Humans."
Vivian’s fingers tightened around her clothes. "When were they discovered?"
"About fifteen years ago."
Pain suddenly stabbed through Vivian’s chest. She gasped. Her hand flew to her heart.
Fifteen years... For some reason, those words made her entire body feel cold.
Ariel immediately stopped. "Vivian?"
Vivian forced herself to breathe."I’m fine."
"You don’t look fine. Are you scared of the transmigrators?"
"I’m fine," Vivian repeated.
She didn’t understand why her heart hurt. She didn’t understand why the number fifteen felt so familiar.
Before Ariel could ask again, footsteps approached.
A soldier stopped in front of them and immediately saluted.
"Recruits.."
Ariel nodded. The soldier turned toward Vivian.
"Are you Vivian Astronova?"
Vivian’s expression hardened.
"No."
The soldier blinked.
Vivian lifted her chin. "Vivian Lilian."
The soldier quickly corrected himself. "Yes. Vivian Lilian."
He hesitated. "Princess Emelianna Astronova has arrived."
Vivian’s stomach dropped.
The soldier continued. "She has requested the cancellation of your admission into Haxia Military Academy."
Vivian stared at him. For several seconds, she said nothing.
Then she sighed. "Of course she did." I knew she would cause trouble soon since I ignored her.
Ariel looked worried. "Will you be alright?"
Vivian slowly stood. Her legs were still weak, but she forced herself upright.
"I’ll be fine."
She looked toward the entrance. "If my mother wants a fight..."
Her eyes narrowed. "...she came to the wrong place."
ISAACAcross the academy... in the border base. Isaac Lilian stood in front of a mirror.
He touched his scar and peeled it off. Yes it was FAKE all along. He always used it to farm pity from his daughter.
Then he turned his face slightly. "Always handsome."
He smiled proudly. "My own daughter is back."
He couldn’t stop smiling. For years, Vivian had avoided him. Now she had not only returned....She had chosen him.
She had abandoned her royal status to become a Lilian.
Isaac’s heart nearly burst with pride.
He walked out of his quarters.
The moment the soldiers in the corridor saw him, they immediately saluted.
"Commander!"
Isaac nodded. "Did you hear?"
The soldiers exchanged confused looks. "Hear what, Commander?"
"My daughter was admitted into Haxia Military Academy."
"Yes, Commander."
"She lives with me now."
"Yes, Commander."
Isaac grinned. "Does your daughter live with you?"
The soldier’s face stiffened.
"No, Commander. I am not married."
"Exactly. Don’t you think you are getting old? Having a daughter at old age is bad."
The Soldiers ran away embarrassed.
Isaac walked away proudly. "Finally, I have something to brag about."
A familiar voice suddenly came from behind.
"You’re not the only man with a daughter."
Isaac turned. His closest Military friend stood there with an irritated expression.
Isaac immediately pointed at him. "What’s your business about my daughter?"
His friend snorted. "When will you stop talking about your daughter? It’s been a week now. Aren’t you tired?."
"You’re jealous."
"Of what?"
"My daughter."
"Your daughter is a walking disaster. Always causing trouble for a Zero class."
Isaac’s smile disappeared."What did you say?"
His friend quickly backed away. "I said congratulations."
"That’s better."
Before their argument could continue, a soldier hurried toward them.
He stopped and saluted. "Commander!"
Isaac’s expression turned serious. "What happened?"
"Our spies inside the capital sent an urgent message."
He handed Isaac a communicator.
"Princess Emelianna Astronova has arrived at Haxia Military Academy."
Isaac’s smile disappeared. "What?"
"She is demanding Vivian’s admission be cancelled."
Isaac’s eyes turned cold.
Without another word, he turned around.
"I’m going."
His friend immediately followed.
"I’m coming with you."
***
Minutes later, the two men arrived at the academy’s administrative entrance.
A group of blue-uniformed guards blocked their way.
Isaac stopped. "I am Regional Commander Isaac Lilian."
The guard bowed slightly.
"I know, Commander."
"Then move."
"I can’t."
Isaac’s eyes narrowed. "Why?"
"A high-ranking official is inside."
"This is my daughter’s academy."
The guard shook his head. "I’m following orders."
Isaac’s fist tightened. His friend stepped forward
"Our daughter is inside. Let us in or I will blow your head off.!!"
The guard remained firm. "No one without authorization may enter."
Isaac’s friend Lionel suddenly kicked him aside. He had no patience in him "Then I’ll make my own authorization."
Several guards immediately raised their weapons.
Their weapons weren’t ordinary guns.
Thin blue energy cores glowed along their barrels. They were called Taserrifles.
Isaac’s soldiers immediately reached for theirs.
"Put them down!"
"Move!"
The corridor instantly became tense.
Then...The massive doors opened.
Everyone froze. A tall man stepped outside.
His dark military coat was decorated with silver insignia. He was an SS rank blue uniform soldier with 6 stars. While Issac was A rank with 5 stars.
He had a smug look. His eyes swept across the soldiers. Then he sighed. "Isaac Lilian."
Isaac’s jaw tightened. "Colonel Damson."
Damson shook his head. "You’re still this violent."
He glanced at Isaac’s clenched fist."Can’t you solve anything without talking with your fists?"
