Chapter 23: HER PREGNANCY

Transmigrated Villianess: I am the mistress to three Beasts Lords

VIVIAN

Vivian opened her eyes. Cold metal pressed against her wrists.

She looked down. A long chain was wrapped around her wrist, its other end secured to the bed.

Her heart sank.

What the hell?

She pulled. Clank!

The chain rattled but held firm. Vivian stared at it, her mind racing. She was weak and scared. Everything she did to run away from the plot. Now she was still locked up by Caelan like the book plot. She thought the Military academy was her solace. But she left there without knowing how.

Three days!! She couldn’t remember anything about the past three days.

The last thing she remembered was being at her father’s house.

Then...Nothing.

She closed her eyes and entered her consciousness.

Lotus. No response. Lotus, wake up.

It was Silence.

Vivian frowned. Ever since she had met that little green-haired girl, the lotus had become strangely timid.

She sighed. Fine. I’ll do this myself.

She grabbed the chain with both hands and pulled with all her strength.

The metal groaned again and again but nothing. This time she closed her eyes and pulled Harder.

The chain snapped. Vivian immediately sat up.

She walked toward the door and twisted the handle.

It didn’t move.

She was about to use her strength when...The door twisted from the other side.

Vivian froze.

The door opened. A maid stood there. Their eyes met instantly.

The maid’s mouth opened.

"AH..."

BAM! Vivian punched her. The maid collapsed.

Vivian dragged her inside, shut the door and quickly took her communicator.

She rushed into the bathroom and locked the door.

Her first call went to her father.

He answered almost immediately.

"Vivian..."

His voice sounded exhausted.

Vivian froze. "Father?"

He was Silent. "I’m here. It’s Vivian."

Another silence. Then Isaac’s voice came quietly. "I’m glad you’re back."

Vivian’s eyebrows knitted together.

Back? "What do you mean?"

"Don’t worry. I’ll do everything in my power to stop this."

"What are you..."

The call ended. Vivian stared at the communicator.

"...What the hell was that?"

She immediately called Vincent Hale.

No answer. She tried again. Nothing.

Vivian sighed. There was only one other person she could think of.

Aston Fenrir. Her finger hovered over his contact. Then she remembered the sixteen billion he had already sent her.

"Nope."

She cancelled the call. "I already owe that man enough money to buy a planet."

She shoved the communicator into her pocket.

Fine!! She would escape herself.

Vivian slipped out of the room.

The mansion was enormous. She moved through the corridors, avoiding several guards.

One approached she punched him and hid him by the door

"Sorry," Vivian muttered as she hit someone passing. She acted like a guest.

She reached the staircase. Then stopped.

Voices came from below. Vivian slowly looked down.

The entire hall was filled with formally dressed guests.

She recognized some of them.

Then she saw someone familiar.

Lydia. Elena’s personal instructor.

Why is she here? Vivian’s eyes moved through the crowd.

Then she saw him.

Caelan. He stood near a table, dressed formally.

A document lay before him.

Lydia stood beside him.

"Sign here."

Caelan picked up the pen.

Vivian immediately turned around.

Nope! She wasn’t staying anywhere near that man. She had to escape before he noticed.

She took one step. Then...Something slammed into her back.

"Ah!"

Vivian lost her balance.

Her body tumbled down the stairs. She screamed "Caelan!!!" she kept rolling down.

"VIVIAN!" Caelan’s expression changed instantly.

The pen fell from his hand.

He leapt forward. His body moved faster than any ordinary human could. He caught Vivian before she reached the bottom.

Her head fell against his chest.

Her eyes fluttered. "Caelan.."

Then everything went black.

"Call the doctor!"

Caelan’s voice shook the entire hall. The Marriage signing ended!!!

*30 MINUTES LATER.

The doctor stepped out. His expression was grim.

"I’m sorry, Sir Caelan."

Caelan’s face hardened.

"The baby..."

The doctor lowered his head.

"She lost it."

Caelan’s knees nearly gave out. He grabbed the wall. For several seconds, he said nothing.

His fingers slowly curled into fists.

"Ronan."

"Yes, Boss?"

"Find out exactly how Vivian fell."

His voice was cold.

"And I want the person responsible."

Ronan replied. "Boss, we can’t do that now. The marriage council is still waiting. Miss Lydia said....

Caelan clenched his fist, "I don’t care about that. Tell them my Mistress is sick they can fuck off!!"

Ronan sighs. "What about Lydia? How do I explain this to her?"

Caelan snapped. "You tell her the female involved is not here. Is this Marriage Partnership a child’s play? Why is she not here but sent a Servant as witness? Tell her if Elena doesn’t want the marriage she can cancel it."

VIVIAN

Vivian’s eyes slowly opened. She heard voices outside.

"...lost the baby."

Her eyes widened.

Baby? She stared at the ceiling. Then she scoffed. "Was Vivian actually pregnant?"

Her hand slowly moved toward her stomach.

Nothing. Her mind spun. But the pregnancy in the book was fake. So how did it become real after I transmigrated?

She swallowed. Since it’s fake, what baby did I just lose?

The door opened.

Vivian immediately closed her eyes. Footsteps approached.

"I know you’re awake."

Her eyes snapped open. The doctor stood beside her.

Vivian recognized him instantly. The same doctor. The one who had examined her when she first transmigrated.

The one who had announced that she was pregnant.

Her eyes narrowed. "What do you want?"

The doctor maintained a calm expression.

"What makes you think I want anything?"

Vivian stared directly at him. "Tell me the truth. Or someone will have to die here!! I will make sure that person will be you."

He smiled faintly. "You’ve been wondering how you could lose a baby you were never carrying."

Vivian’s blood ran cold. The doctor’s smile suddenly disappeared. Then his voice became dangerously calm.

"Was that a threat earlier?"

Vivian said nothing.

"You should be the one afraid."

He leaned closer. "What if I tell Caelan that you’re a liar? And he tears you to pieces with his Antlers."
