“Does it matter what I want to do?” Eric’s voice was casual, almost lazy, yet something sharp lingered just beneath the surface—like a blade wrapped in silk.

“Maybe I want to live quietly with my mom, binge-watch shows, and eat decent food for once.

Or maybe I want to conquer this place and turn it into my personal playground.Full novel: Traveling To Other world Started From Marvel With Shadow Monarc Powers — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Who knows?”

The Ancient One gave him a small, serene smile, her expression as peaceful as a still lake.

Her voice remained gentle yet firm, carrying the weight of centuries without a trace of hostility.

“Yes,” she said simply, “it truly doesn’t matter.

You were born here, and you have just as much right to shape this world as any other creature on this planet.”

Eric’s eyes narrowed slightly.

He wasn’t sure what angle she was playing at, but that calm acceptance in her tone caught him off guard.

It wasn’t fear or challenge—just straightforward acknowledgment.

One thing worth noting—something he’d only pieced together himself not long ago—was that while he often joked about being “reincarnated” into this world, it wasn’t entirely accurate.

When his soul was still forming, a weak and fragmented soul from another existence had merged with his own.

The invader had been too frail to take over, so its memories simply blended into his consciousness.

At his core, Eric was still a native of this Earth, just one carrying extra baggage from elsewhere.

That fusion probably explained why he could bypass the universe’s natural defenses so effortlessly.

He wasn’t an intruder smashing through the front door—he was more like a family member who’d forgotten his keys but still belonged inside.

The Ancient One’s gaze sharpened, reading the subtle shifts in his aura.

“I’m not strong enough to stop you,” she admitted with surprising honesty, her words hanging in the air like a quiet confession.

“If you wished to destroy this world or bend it entirely to your will, I couldn’t prevent it.

My only real choice would be to prepare in advance.”

Eric tilted his head, a hint of genuine curiosity breaking through his relaxed facade.

“Prepare for what, exactly?”

“For the consequences,” she replied simply, as if stating the obvious. This chapter is updated first at g.com.

It was true—Eric’s power dwarfed hers by a ridiculous margin.

Yet in her long centuries of mastery, the Ancient One had accumulated a vast reserve of dimensional energy, siphoned carefully from countless realities.

With enough time and sacrifice, she believed she could construct a barrier strong enough to eject him from this universe.

The cost would be devastating, potentially tearing at the fabric of reality itself, but it was a card she held in reserve.

She wouldn’t play it lightly, though.

After living for so long, her attachment to survival had faded.

Death didn’t scare her anymore—if anything, it seemed almost peaceful, like a well-earned rest.

Her reluctance came from something deeper: Eric was from Earth.

“Even if you destroy this planet,” she continued, her tone steady, “it’s still an internal matter.

Earth’s problem, not the universe’s.

I won’t invite outsiders to interfere.”

The weight of her words settled over the room like a heavy blanket.

She had stolen fragments of power from Dormammu’s Dark Dimension before, but those had been tiny, careful sips to avoid drawing attention.

Banishing Eric would require drawing from far more dangerous realms—places of pure chaos, maybe even Hell itself.

The backlash could be irreversible.

Yet as she watched him, her instincts whispered that he wasn’t an immediate apocalyptic threat.

His calm demeanor and patience weren’t the marks of someone drunk on power.

“I’ve seen empires rise and fall,” she went on, her voice distant, carrying echoes of forgotten eras.

“I’ve watched kings crumble, and revolutions ignite.

If you choose to rule, humanity will either accept you or rebel against you.

If Earth must face a conqueror… then Earth itself must respond.

I am not qualified to represent everyone.”

Whatever happens, it’s not my place to interfere.

She leaned back slightly, that calm smile returning to her lips like an old friend.

The air around her flickered with faint golden sparks, a subtle display of mystic energy that lit the room for a brief second.

“…then I’ll stop you myself.

Or at least try, until my death.”

For the first time since the encounter began, a faint, genuine smile tugged at Eric’s lips.

He let out a soft chuckle, the tension easing just a notch.

“That’s… surprisingly reasonable.

Most people in your position would be throwing around threats or trying to recruit me into some cosmic Boy Scouts troop.”

“I am nothing if not practical,” the Ancient One replied, her expression unwavering, though a hint of dry amusement sparkled in her eyes.

Eric leaned forward, resting his elbows on his knees as he studied her.

The study felt smaller somehow, the shadows in the corners seeming to listen intently alongside Igris.

“You know, when I first sensed you popping in, I half-expected a big dramatic speech about balance and the greater good.

Maybe even a free lecture on why teenagers with too much power are a bad idea.” He gestured vaguely with one hand.

“This whole ‘live and let live unless you nuke the planet’ vibe is refreshing.

Makes me almost want to invite you downstairs for instant noodles and let my mom grill you about mystic drama clubs.”

“Give me a power stone, and I will give you chapters.”]

[Anyway, I need to clarify something about the other world.

This won’t be a typical story where the protagonist enters a new world, causes some chaos, collects a few women, and then leaves forever.

Instead, every world the MC visits will eventually be integrated into his personal dimension and brought into the Marvel Universe.

In other words, these worlds won’t be one-off adventures.

The characters, factions, resources, and technologies from those worlds will continue to exist and play important roles in the Marvel Universe later in the story.

Because of that, I need worlds that aren’t overly complex and not too powerful, like Warhammer, but still offer something valuable that the MC can obtain]

[First world I am thinking about is the Naruto world, Tensura should be added, as for Warhammer, no, I don’t want to fry my brain, DC or Ben 10 (mainly to get waybig or Kryptonians for his army), I also thinking about overlord, it is about the story, but if you guys really want to see a world, I don’t mind adding them.]
