Naxxramas had eleven floors.
The first to third floors were tombs, the fourth was an underground lake, the fifth a glacier, the sixth a forest, the seventh a lava zone, the eighth a wasteland, the ninth a royal suite, the tenth the Silvermoon Paradise, and the eleventh was the Hall of Kings.
In the clearing of the forest on the sixth floor, there was a gigantic arena.
Since the guild members’ unique teleport rings could send them directly into the arena, it proved that the game’s items still functioned.
Knowing this made Momonga feel more at ease, whereas Luke, who had already known this, had no other thoughts.
Sensing Momonga and Luke’s approach, the fence rose like an automatic door.
After they stepped inside, they were in the circular arena of Naxxramas’ sixth floor, surrounded by high spectator seats.
The arena resembled a Roman Colosseum on Earth, likely modeled after it in game — with a major axis of 188 meters, a minor axis of 156 meters, and a height of 48 meters.
Everywhere, “Eternal Light” spells illuminated the surroundings with bright white light, making the whole arena as bright as day.
The original purpose behind this place was full of dark humor: the spectators were golems, guardians forged from rare minerals, a type of demon creation that appeared clumsy but was actually highly agile.
The VIP seats, of course, were for Ainz Ooal Gown guild members.
And as for the performers?
Naturally, they were the intruders and the only performance was slaughter.
In fact, apart from one massive invasion with over 1,500 attackers, very few ever managed to break through to the sixth floor’s arena.
Luke glanced at Momonga, who upon entering the arena, first looked up at the sky — perhaps trying to see the outside world.
Unfortunately, this was a Great Tomb; the sky above was only virtual, not real.
Momonga quickly turned his gaze to their surroundings.
Then came the appearance of the floor guardians of the sixth floor: the dark elf twins.
One was the young tomboyish elder sister, Aura Bella Fiora — and by dark elf standards, being 76 years old really was just a child.
The other was the young and promising crossdressing younger brother, Mare Bello Fiore.
Just like in the original story, Aura was outgoing, while Mare was timid.
After Aura called out Mare, who was hiding out of fear, the younger brother appeared, and the siblings began to quarrel — or more accurately, it was one-sided domination.
The elder sister completely overwhelmed the younger brother, though visually it looked more like an older brother scolding his little sister.
The twins were among the few humanoid races in Nazarick aside from the four on the tenth floor council.
In the game, beings with human-like appearances, including elves, were classified as humanoids.
Because they were humanoids, neither had any racial levels, their levels were purely from classes, reaching the maximum of 100.
In other words, they were essentially the pinnacle of what a humanoid race could achieve. New chapters come out on g.com first.
Both had a Karma Value of –100, meaning they were neutral-evil.
Watching Aura scold Mare for being too timid to come out and greet the Supreme Beings, Luke chuckled softly and said to Momonga, “This must be close to what Bukubukuchagama imagined when designing them, right?”
Bukubukuchagama, the guild member who created these two dark elf characters, had undoubtedly poured immense effort into them — not a single careless detail was left.
It was just… why did you have to make your “children” like this?
“Yes… I really wish she could see them now.”
“Somehow, I feel that wish might come true, Momonga.”
“Hahahaha…” Hearing Luke’s words, Momonga suddenly felt much happier.
After all, these guardians were the painstaking creations, the “children”, of their former comrades.
Everyone had distinct personalities, but surely none of them would make their children rebel as a “moe” trait, right?
…Though, if they really would, then Momonga could only helplessly admit it in his heart.
Next, Luke watched as Momonga tested the twins’ abilities and rules, drawing many conclusions.
First, the rule that guild members could not harm each other was gone.
This meant that when the game became reality, some of the system’s protections no longer existed, which made sense, as this world had no such system.
Next, the messaging function could still be used within the guild, including with NPCs.
Through a conversation with Sebas, they also learned that Naxxramas was now surrounded by grasslands.
“Luke-san, it seems your guess about us being transported to another world was correct.”
Luke nodded.
Previously, Naxxramas had been surrounded by swamps, but now there were grasslands, which made it quite obvious.
Above was a normal night sky, with no buildings anywhere nearby.
After gathering all this information, Momonga felt a headache coming on.
Luke, on the other hand, simply entered “watching-anime” mode, observing Momonga and the twins going back and forth testing abilities and items, as if rewatching an old favorite series.
When Momonga realized he had truly become an undead — no need to eat or drink, and with no skin, muscles, blood vessels, nerves, or internal organs — he felt somewhat unreal at first.
But he quickly adapted, even if deep down he was still the same office worker with a slightly goofy personality. Visit g.com for the full chapter.
“Unexpectedly, Lord Momonga is so gentle.
I had thought you would be frightening.”
“Hmm, really?
If you’d prefer me to be scarier…” Momonga said with a slightly mischievous tone.
“No!
This is much better, absolutely much better.”
The twins immediately replied, their gazes then turning toward Luke, who had remained silent the whole time.
It was clear they found Luke more intimidating since compared to Momonga, Luke had been quiet, making it impossible to read his attitude.
In truth, to the floor guardians (aside from the tenth floor’s four council members), Momonga and Luke held equal status: both were Supreme Beings.
Thus, they dared not show even the slightest disrespect toward Luke, let alone say which Supreme Being they preferred.
To them, judging the Supreme Beings was the same as betrayal.
Sensing the children’s fear, Luke showed a smile of unknown meaning.
Who would have thought that these two seemingly harmless children were actually the kings of team battles within Naxxramas?
Though their combat power ranked among the lowest of the floor guardians, they commanded countless powerful monsters in the sixth floor’s Great Forest — including two mighty dragons.
If a battle broke out, it would become a classic PVP-fest, and even the tenth floor council would take a very long time to defeat them in their home territory.
Considering the four council members were so powerful that they triggered system warnings, losing to them only highlighted the twins’ strength.
And let’s not forget that Bukubukuchagama was a schemer.
The guild was full of eccentrics, each stranger than the last.
Compared to them, Momonga and Luke were practically pitifully “normal.”
The little brother’s timid appearance was nothing but a facade.
Inside, he was pitch black.
In Mare’s eyes, all things in the world other than his comrades were insects.
This mindset was nearly universal among the guardians.
However, in front of the Supreme Beings Momonga and Luke, the twins’ trembling was completely genuine.
After all, they were still children in both body and mind, and thus deeply feared their “parents.”
Thinking this, Luke smiled, took the water Momonga had given them earlier, poured it into a cup, and handed it to the overjoyed Mare.
