After losing badly to Hibari, the three daredevils were completely fired up.

The humiliation of getting crushed so easily burned inside them like gasoline thrown into a fire.

Not only had they lost pathetically, they couldn’t even help Tsuna.Full novel: Vongola X Yozakura: A KHR FANFIC — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

So the three poured all their frustration into the only thing they could do…

Which was to exercise.

And thus, the Body Improvement Club unknowingly entered its most terrifying era yet.

“ONE HUNDRED MORE PUSH-UPS!”

“Body Improvement!”

“YOUR MUSCLES ARE CRYING FOR IT!”

“Fight on!’

“EMBRACE THE PAIN OF IMPROVEMENT!”

“Arghh!”

The gym echoed with screams of passion and suffering daily.

Meanwhile, Tsuna also added more intensity to his usual routine.

I lost badly last time… It just means my flesh is still weak!

Today, Reborn was teaching Tsuna once again.

This time, it was about languages.

“A mafia boss should at least be bilingual or know three languages to avoid losing dignity during diplomacy.”

Tsuna immediately sensed danger.

Whenever Reborn casually introduced a new topic, It usually turned into hell.

“First, you must master English since it’s considered the global language.”

Reborn explained calmly while writing notes on the board.

“We’ll begin with the rules and foundations before moving into practical conversation.”

Tsuna actually understood written English fairly well.

After all, he studied often nowadays.

But speaking fluently?

That was another story entirely.

Still, compared to getting beaten unconscious during sparring matches, maybe this lesson wouldn’t be too bad.

A few minutes later, while Reborn continued teaching, Tsuna absentmindedly glanced outside his bedroom window…

And froze.

“…Huh?”

A small child was somehow standing on a tree branch outside his room.

The kid wore a ridiculous cow-pattern outfit with huge afro hair and tiny horns.

And most importantly, he was pointing a gun directly at Reborn.

Tsuna’s eyes widened in horror.

“Hey, Reborn!

There’s a kid outside pointing a gun at you!”

Reborn ignored him completely and just continued his lesson.

“Die, Reborn!”

The strange cow kid cried out dramatically in a high-pitched voice.

Tsuna urged the hitman quicker.

“Hey!

There’s literally a weird kid trying to kill you!”

Still, Reborn calmly continued writing.

“Die!”

The kid pulled the trigger.

CLICK.

The gun jammed at the wrong timing which made the cow kid blink confusedly.

That wasn’t the end.

CRACK.

The tree branch beneath him suddenly snapped.

“WAAA—!?”

Tsuna watched helplessly as the child crashed downward headfirst.

THUD.

“…That looked painful.”

Anyway, just what was that?

That strange kid seems to suffer from the same bad luck like me…

Tsuna hurried toward the window and looked down worriedly.

The strange cow kid shakily stood back up while trembling slightly.

Tears formed in his eyes, but he stubbornly held them back.

Even after all that, he still wasn’t giving up.

The child went to rang the Sawada residence doorbell repeatedly by jumping up and down.

DING-DONG!

Nana opened the door.

“…Ara?”

Nobody was there, Nana tilting her head sadly.

“A prank…”

Meanwhile, the tiny cow had already silently infiltrated the house.

“Long time no see, Reborn!

It’s me, Lambo!”

The child bursted grandly into Tsuna’s room while striking a pose.

Tsuna stared blankly.

“He actually entered…”

However, Reborn continued ignoring him.

“How dare you ignore me!

I’ll kill you, damn it!”

Lambo immediately charged forward recklessly.

WHAM.

In the next instant, he was embedded halfway into the wall.

Tsuna sucked in a cold breath.

“As expected of Reborn, no mercy!”

I couldn’t even see how he moved… How terrifying…

Lambo slowly slid downward from the wall while dizzy.

“Ow…”

He wobbled.

“I must’ve tripped or something…”

Tsuna watched in disbelief.

“What kind of self-gaslighting is that…?”

I admire his perseverance.

Though, he’s kinda annoying.

Lambo pointed proudly toward himself despite having a lump growing on his head.

“I, Lambo-san, age five, from Italy!

Hitman from Bovino Family!

Merely tripped!”

He shouted to capture Reborn’s attention, but ended up ignored again.

Tsuna slowly began feeling bad for the tiny assassin.

But Lambo was unbelievably persistent.

He tried attacking Reborn again and again, but always failed miserably in the end.

At one point, Tsuna genuinely wondered if Reborn even perceived him as a living being anymore.

Eventually, Lambo sat in the corner of the room gloomily.

“Hold it in…”

His tiny shoulders trembled with tears slowly forming in his eyes.

Tsuna sweatdropped.

“…Why won’t you just pay attention to him, Reborn..?”

Reborn looked utterly heartless as if glancing at a bug.

“I remember!

This time I borrowed many weapons passed down through the Bovino Family!” This chapter was copied from g.com without permission.

Lambo sniffed while rummaging through his afro hair before pulling out a giant pink bazooka.

Tsuna inhaled sharply, his eyes widening in shock.

“Tadaaa!

The Ten-Year Bazooka!”

Lambo proudly lifted it overhead.

“Anyone shot by this gets replaced by their future self from ten years later for five minutes!”

Tsuna stared looked toward Lambo’s afro and then the bazooka.

“…How is that physically fitting inside your hair?”

Was his hair also secretly another dimension like that blue cat!?

Moreover, he was suspicious whether that claim was true.

You mean my future self in heaven?

I’ll die if I get hit by a bazooka!

“Not the right timing to use it yet!”

Lambo casually shoved the massive bazooka back into his afro.

Tsuna’s brain hurt.

Not until Lambo pulled out two grenades next.

Tsuna immediately paled.

“Wait, grenades!?

That’ll destroy my room!”

“Correct!”

Lambo grinned before hurling them toward Reborn.

“Die, Reborn!”

Without even turning around, Reborn casually swung his arm backward.

BANG.

The grenades ricocheted directly into Lambo’s face and blasted him straight out the window.

“GYAAAAH!”

BOOM!!

Ashes drifted upward outside.

Tsuna slowly looked toward Reborn, silently praying for Lambo.

“…Isn’t that too much?

He’s just a kid.”

“I don’t know him.”

“….”

Tsuna was speechless.

So why did the cow act like he knew you?

Reborn remained calm.

“Besides, the Bovino Family is merely a small mafia group.”

Tsuna blinked.

“What do you mean?”

“I don’t associate with those ranked lower than me.”

Reborn answered casually.

“You shouldn’t either.”

Tsuna stared at him blankly.

The mafia world sounded unbelievably petty sometimes.

“But who exactly is the Bovino Family?”

“They’re a family of lunatics who electrocute themselves with lightning from childhood onward.”

Reborn answered flatly.

“That cow is especially abnormal even among them.”

Tsuna froze.

“…Excuse me?”

Electrocution training!?

What kind of horrifying family environment was that!?

Tsuna couldn’t help but shiver.

The mafia world…

how scary it is.

After a while, Nana called Tsuna downstairs.

“He’s Reborn-kun’s friend, right?”

She pointed toward Lambo, who was now covered in ashes and dirt while crying pitifully.

“Did they fight?”

“…Sort of.”

In a deeply one-sided way.

Tsuna remarked silently.

Nana smiled gently.

“Tsuna, you’re older than them, so try helping them get along, okay?”

Tsuna wanted to complain about the unfairness, but found it impossible to explain.

It is what it is.

“I’m making dinner, so I’ll leave him to you.’

Just like that, Tsuna had been promoted into unwilling babysitter.

The moment Nana disappeared, Lambo immediately latched onto Tsuna’s leg.

“Hey, stop it.

My pants…”

Tears and snot smeared everywhere.

“Let go.”

“UWAAAAAAAHHH!!”

Lambo cried even harder.

“Damn, he developed PTSD!”

In the end, Tsuna brought him toward the nearby riverbank where he usually ran every morning.

The evening breeze felt cool and peaceful.

“…Here.”

Tsuna awkwardly handed him candy, Lambo sniffing loudly before taking it.

Slowly, his crying weakened.

“You see…”

Lambo mumbled while eating candy.

“Lambo-san dreams of becoming the Bovino Family’s boss and making all humanity bow before me.”

Tsuna stared blankly.

He was saying something insanely tyrannical while crying like a lost child.

“But my boss said I must first defeat the Super First-Class Hitman Reborn…”

Tsuna quietly became curious.

“…You really know Reborn?”

“Yeah!”

Lambo immediately brightened.

He started recounting the story dramatically.

Apparently, his boss once brought him to a bar called Glass of God.

There, he saw Reborn sitting quietly at the counter.

According to Lambo, they talked deeply together.

It was the first time someone listened to him sincerely.

While Lambo ate grapes and drank milk, Reborn apparently blew bubbles from his nose.

Tsuna patted Lambo pitifully.

“…Wasn’t he just sleeping?”

Lambo stared at him blankly, his eyes slowly tearing up.

“I’m just kidding…”

Tsuna laughed awkwardly.

He suddenly felt bad for Lambo again.

After some time, Tsuna stood up.

“Well, since you calmed down, I should head home now.

It’s dinner time.”

He was about to walk away when he paused for a moment.

“…Actually, where do you live?”

Lambo immediately clung to his leg again.

“I don’t have a home…”

His eyes watered instantly.

Tsuna froze.

“…You can’t just say something that heavy so casually.”

And thus, Tsuna dragged the tiny cow back home.

“Fufu~ Dinner feels livelier today!”

Nana smiled brightly while watching the strange gathering happily.

Tsuna sat at the table, looking at the two babies in front of him.

A terrifying baby hitman and a tiny cow assassin.

His life had changed too much.

It used to only be him and his mother quietly eating dinner together.

Now, his house somehow felt… noisy and full.

DING-DONG!

“Oh?

Maybe that’s the parcel I ordered.”

Nana cheerfully walked toward the front door.

The moment she disappeared, Lambo suddenly grinned maliciously.

“NOW DIE, REBORN!”

He threw a knife directly at him.

Without even glancing over while still eating, Reborn flicked the knife backward.

THUNK.

The blade stabbed directly into Lambo’s forehead.

Blood slowly trickled downward as Lambo’s eyes widened in horror.

Tsuna’s soul nearly left his body.

“LAMBOOOOOOO!!”

Why was nobody here reacting normally!?

Lambo cried while desperately rummaging through his afro.

Before Tsuna knew it, he pulled out the pink bazooka again.

Tsuna paled.

“…What is he planning now?”

If he fires that bazooka inside, we will all end up homeless!

Lambo suddenly pointed the bazooka at himself.

“…?”

BOOOOM!

A thick amount of pink smoke exploded throughout the room.

When the smoke cleared, a completely different person replaced Lambo.

A tall, curly-haired handsome man with one eye lazily half-open appeared, casual clothes draping loosely over his lean figure.

“Geez…”

The man scratched his cheek lazily.

“Looks like I got sent ten years into the past again.”

He looked toward Tsuna before smiling faintly.

“Long time no see, Young Vongola Decimo.”

Tsuna froze completely.

“…What?”

The man bowed his head slightly.

“Thank you for being patient with me ten years ago.”

His smile widened calmly.

“I am Lambo.

The Fulmen Bull.”

Tsuna stared at him speechlessly.

“…You’re Future Lambo!?”

So that claim about the bazooka was really real…?

“Of course.”

Future Lambo smirked slightly.

“I’m from ten years ahead from this point in time.

Though the Ten-Year Bazooka only lets me stay here for five minutes.”

He then glanced toward Reborn casually.

“Yo, Reborn.”

Reborn finally reacted slightly and quietly observed him.

Behind that relaxed appearance, he could sense genuine strength.

Interesting.

To think that stupid cow would eventually grow this much.

Though, still nowhere near his level.

“Hey!”

Tsuna quickly leaned forward excitedly.

“Can you tell me about the future!?”

Future Lambo immediately shook his head.

“I can’t.”

“Why?”

“Time travel rules.

If I tell you, the Time Patrol will kill all of us.”

He shrugged casually.

“Besides, I’m only one of the possible future based on this current timeline.”

Tsuna’s brain slowly stopped functioning after learning things he wasn’t supposed to learn.

“…What?”

“The future isn’t fixed because the present timeline is still being written.”

Tsuna stared blankly.

“I understand your point but at the same time don’t understand it.”

Future Lambo pointed at him.

“To simplify it… there are people like you in this world.”

“People like me?”

“Existences capable of changing outcomes so drastically that even time itself can’t fully predict them.”

Lambo explained calmly which made Tsuna nod in slight understanding.

“…That sounds complicated.”

“It means your choices matter.”

Future Lambo answered simply.

However, pink smoke slowly started rising around his body again.

“…Looks like my time’s up.”

Before disappearing, he looked directly toward Tsuna.

His lazy eyes sharpened seriously for the first time.

“Vongola Decimo…

you should prepare yourself.”

Tsuna instinctively stiffened.

“For what?”

Future Lambo smiled faintly.

“Your first canon event.”

“…My what?”

But before Tsuna could ask further, the smoke completely swallowed him.

POOF.

The cool future Lambo vanished and tiny Lambo reappeared unconscious on the floor instead, looking completely healed from his injuries before.

Tsuna sat there silently.

Canon event…?

What did that even mean?

Meanwhile, Reborn quietly stared at his pacifier thoughtfully.

Something about Future Lambo’s appearance clearly bothered him a lot.

Eventually, Nana returned carrying her package.

“Oh my, did Lambo-kun fall asleep?”

“…Yeah.”

Tsuna answered absentmindedly.

When Lambo finally woke up later, he remembered absolutely nothing after firing the bazooka.

…
