Arthur looked at the Arrow that was struck in the Blood Mane Sickle Beasts torso and was surprised.
"What the…" He wished to look back, but couldn't take his eyes off the enemy in front of him.
"Tch~ That's a tough beast. Even my skill barely did 4% damage to it." Arthur suddenly heard a voice.
~CLANG~
Arthur blocked an attack from the Blood Mane Sickle Beast and hit its sickles, causing them to be deflected.
~ROAR~
But the beast was greatly agitated and directly used its skill again. The Blood Mane Sickle Beast spun and spread its sickles outward, intending to strike all that was within its range.
Of course, Arthur managed to dodge it with ease but he also realized something else.
'It's target isn't me?' Arthur suddenly saw the beast change its direction. 'The person who shot the arrow!' he turned to look where the person was and finally saw them.
"It's coming towards you, dodge!" Arthur shouted at the girl some distance from him.
She was holding a bow and had a quiver on her back. She wore a green tunic with light leather armor and was quite clearly an archer.
The girl heard Arthur's words but also saw the Blood Mane Sickle Beast rushing towards her.
"Dammit! What the hell is this thing?" She cursed and shot an arrow before rolling away at the last moment.
"Agh!" Still, her speed couldn't compare against the Blood Mane Sickle Beast, and ended up getting nicked.

"Wonder if I can still kill the Bone Blade beasts?" He looked at the Bone blade beasts that were already half dead.

~Sigh~
"Guess it won't be enough. I'll just have to find some other ones." Arthur muttered to himself, letting Brambles kill the last of them.
And while Arthur was doing this, the girl was looking at him and the beetle in the distance. The shock was apparent on her face and it was a mystery as to whether it was due to the notifications she was getting or the fight that was ongoing.
But then again, it was probably the latter. After all, not everyday did one get to see a giant beetle toss beasts like they were rag dolls.
"What… What is that?" The girl approached Arthur before asking.
Arthur turned to her, his brows furrowed while a few thoughts went through his mind.
"Don't you know not to interfere in other's fights? This would almost be considered kill stealing." Arthur warned her.
"I… I just thought you needed help." The girl said, her expression falling.
Seeing that Arthur shook his head, realizing that she wasn't the same as him and didn't have the same kind of experience with the game yet.
~SIGH~
"At least know what kind of enemy you are going up against." Arthur advised. "Did you not check it before attacking?" he asked.
"Check it? Do you mean the Inspect skill?" Val asked.
"Yeah." Arthur nodded his head.
"I didn't have the time… I just attacked first." Val replied, having a look of embarrassment on her face.
~Sigh~
Arthur sighed once more wondering just how had she managed to come this far without knowing something basic like this.
'Even the players in the villages would pick up on this in just a couple of days.' Arthur thought to himself before realizing something else. 'Wait… who is she?' he questioned himself.
"Who are you?" Arthur asked right away while racking his mind for information about any player named Val.
"Me? I'm Val! I'm an archer!" She answered right away.
"Hmm…" Arthur narrowed his eyes, making the girl nervous.
"KRIIIIII~" Meanwhile Brambles was having a fun time tossing the Bone Blade beasts in the air and then trying to keep them there.
It was clear that the beetle was just playing around with the Bone Blade beasts at this point.
