A large expanse of porcelain skin was laid bare.

Seth’s gaze drifted downward, locking his eyes onto the area just below her left collarbone, which was rising and falling rapidly.

On that skin, which should have been flawless and fair, sat a brand the size of a coin.Full novel: Warhammer 40k: My First Gacha Pull Was Golden — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

It was a grotesque mark woven from twisted, dark red veins.

The Khorne eight-pointed star.

A pure, blood-scented Warp sigil!

*Damn it,* Seth cursed inwardly.

*I thought she was just a spoiled heiress in need of some discipline.*

*I didn’t expect this high-and-mighty eldest daughter of a Count to be a heretic!*

“Stare any longer and I’ll gouge your eyes out! You blind Underhive parasite!” Yulia shrieked hysterically.

The tactical restraints groaned as she struggled.

Her legs thrashed wildly, her expensive stockings tearing against the edges of the metal seat, leaving her looking utterly disheveled.

Yulia spat her most venomous curses:

“If you touch a single hair on my head, my father will flay you alive!”

“He’ll grind you to dust and dump you into the lowest corpse-recycling vats!”

Seth wasn’t fazed in the slightest.

Seeing that invoking her father had no effect, a sudden streak of ruthlessness flashed in Yulia’s eyes.

She clenched her jaw, biting down on a micro-poison capsule hidden in her back molar.

*Pfft—*

A stream of eerie green gas sprayed from her mouth.

The toxic mist shot straight toward Seth’s face!

It was incredibly fast and at point-blank range—impossible to dodge!

This was a specialized toxin concocted by Khorne cultists.

Even the slightest inhalation would liquefy a person’s lungs into a pool of bloody pus in less than a second!

“Go to hell, you worthless trash!”

Yulia raised her chin, letting out a manic laugh.

“Did you really think that killing a few rebels outside the hive city gives you the right to act like a big shot in the Mid-hive?”

“There are over a hundred heavily armed private soldiers outside!”

“If I lose so much as a single hair, they will blow this piece-of-shit transport and you into a pile of minced meat!”

Yet…

ten seconds passed.

Inside the compartment, the green toxic mist gradually settled and dispersed.

Seth remained standing exactly where he was, his breathing completely calm.

This level of poison wasn’t even enough to make him sneeze.

“Is that all you’ve got?” Seth’s voice was like ice.

Before the manic laughter in Yulia’s eyes could turn into terror, Seth raised his right hand, fingers splayed.

With a howling wind, he delivered a heavy backhand slap!

*Crack!*

The heavy impact echoed through the cramped space.

The force was perfectly measured—neither too heavy nor too light.

It was just enough to swell half of Yulia’s face slightly without leaving any bruising finger marks.

“Ah—!”

Suddenly, Yulia was hoisted up by Seth.

She shrieked in agony, “Ow, ow, ow! It hurts! You’re not Steve!”

Seth laughed mockingly.

“Let me ask you again. Am I Steve?”

“Ah…”

“You’re not Steve! That trash could never…”

Seeing the lingering aristocratic stubbornness in her, the Super Soldier serum traits in Seth’s veins surged.

Soon, Yulia’s tune changed to a desperate sob.

“Help… honey… save me, honey…”

“Am I Steve?” Seth asked.

“Yes… yes… honey,” Yulia whimpered.

Yulia’s mind temporarily short-circuited.

The intense ringing in her ears blocked out all sound, and amidst the flashing stars in her vision, she felt as if she were standing at death’s door.

Yet even though Yulia had yielded, Seth had no intention of letting her off so easily.

Feeling the grip around her throat tighten, Yulia realized there was a high chance she would die in this transport today.

Her deep-seated vicious streak flared up again.

She shifted gears, throwing caution to the wind as she spat, “I’ll kill you… I’ll have you chopped into pieces…”

“Too loud,” Seth said, reaching out with one hand and palming her entire head.

Her haughty aristocratic pride was brutally crushed under his touch.

Seth looked down at the weeping, agonizing woman.

“Do you really think your worthless status can save you?”

Yulia thrashed wildly, now filled with the deepest terror and desperation.

Yulia gave up all resistance, letting out only a low, whimpering sob like a wounded animal.

She even began to sway her hips, desperately attempting to please Seth.

Outside the transport, the atmosphere took a bizarre turn.

The shrill, sharp curses from inside the compartment had gradually quieted down, replaced instead by embarrassing, flushed weeping and soft, breathless whimpers.

“This…”

The bald adjutant widened his eyes, exchanging bewildered looks with the eight burly soldiers around him.

The soldiers’ breathing quickened.

Soon, a surge of uncontrollable, fanatical awe erupted in their eyes!

The Commander was fucking legendary!

Not only was he ruthless in battle, but he had even broken the haughty daughter of a Count!

Absolute, unmatched dominance!

In contrast, the estate guards on the steps looked mortified, their faces flushing a deep purplish-red as if their parents had just died.

That was their high-and-mighty, untouchable lady!

Seth stood up coldly, unhurriedly fastening his tactical belt.

He grabbed Yulia by her hair, forcing her tear-stained face upward.

*Thud.*

Seth dropped the heavy metal briefcase covered in heretical runes right in front of Yulia.

The sound of the case hitting the floor made Yulia flinch violently.

“You recognize this, don’t you?”

“Now, bitch. Tell me the truth.”

“What plans do you gutter-dwelling heretics have for tonight’s family banquet?”

She shook like a leaf, her teeth chattering uncontrollably.

“No… I can’t say… if I speak, my soul will be utterly obliterated…” Yulia shook her head frantically.

“If you don’t talk, I’ll chop off your limbs right now and throw them out of the vehicle so your guards can enjoy the show.”

The suffocating dread of death shattered Yulia’s final line of defense.

“In the main seat of the banquet… sits… a Chaos emissary from the Warp…”

“The entire estate… has long been under a blood barrier… every noble attending today is meant to be food for our Patron!”

A Chaos emissary!

Seth’s pupils contracted.

*They’re playing this big?*

*Not only are they planning to blow up the power generator to drag billions into the grave with them, but they’re even summoning an actual daemon!*
