A malicious smile squeezed onto the twisting, unstable face of the Tzeentch demon as it stared at Guilliman.
“O Primarch who has returned from ten thousand years past…
do you see this chaotic, hopeless universe today?
Hahaha!
All of this is the masterpiece of Chaos, and the eternal feast we so desire!
You…
no longer have the strength to change any of this!
Look at you, how powerless, how angry?
Yet you cannot even truly ‘kill’ me!
Pure as you are, how will you vent this powerless rage?
How utterly pitiful…”
Beside them, the Ultramarines burned with fury.
A lowly fiend of the Warp actually dared to mock their gene-father in such a manner?!
It was a classic case of holding a lantern in a latrine—looking for shit, or in this case, begging for death!
“Primarch! Let me purify it with psychic power right now!”
Leandros, who had just recovered, stepped forward with an expression of pure rage, psychic energy crackling at his fingertips.
He was truly incensed.
The vile demon had not only exploited his vulnerability to corrupt him—which was an account they could settle slowly—but how dare it insult his father!
This Warp demon was practically begging for a swift execution!
“Hahaha! Come on! Come on! Foolish Ultramarine! Come ‘kill’ me!” The Tzeentch demon laughed arrogantly, completely unfazed.
“I will soon be reborn from the tides of the Warp anyway! I will forever be the nightmare that haunts your hearts! And you, Primarch, you will never gain any honor by ‘killing’ dregs like me! Your anger is meaningless!”
“You truly live up to Tzeentch’s lineage; your mouth is indeed foul,” Guilliman finally spoke, his tone flat, betraying no emotion.
Seeing Guilliman reply, the demon became even more smug, preparing to continue its feast of mockery.
However, Guilliman merely scratched his head in resignation, looking at the creature as if it were a pitiful simpleton.
*This demon is truly of Tzeentch’s line. This chapter was taken from g.com without permission.
It has a slick tongue, but its brain…
doesn’t seem to work very well.*
*Every other sentence is ‘you can’t kill me’…
does this idiot not know that the Emperor’s Sword is sitting right in my quarters?*
He was thinking of the legendary blade brought to him by Saint Celestine, burning with the Emperor’s psychic fire—commonly known as the account-deletion sword!
One of the sword’s greatest properties was its ability to permanently and completely annihilate the essence of Warp demons!
Though it outwardly radiated the Emperor’s signature golden flashy special effects, its power source was still that black sun in the Warp representing ultimate destruction and death.
“You know…” Guilliman weighed the demon in his hand as if assessing a slab of pork.
“I wanted to let you go easily, but why did you have to run your mouth?”
With that, he tossed the Tzeentch demon onto the hard ground with a loud thud.
“Since your mouth is so foul, it would only be right for me to give you a good beating, wouldn’t it?” Guilliman cracked his wrists, a trademark “warm and friendly” smile appearing on his face.
“I have one good trait: I like to respect other people’s wishes!”
“Hmph! We Warp demons are formless, insubstantial energy constructs!” Though dizzy from the fall, the demon remained stubborn.
“Especially us Tzeentch demons, who excel in countless Warp spells to avoid damage! You cannot make me feel pain, Primarch! At most, you can only disperse this temporary vessel of mine and banish me back to the Warp!”
“Is that so?” Guilliman tilted his head, his smile growing brighter.
“That might not be the case.”
He had just pulled this thing out of the realspace rift with his bare hands.
This proved that the idealistic power of the Viltrumite Smart Atoms indeed had a direct effect on the Warp!
So, what would happen if he beat a Warp demon with a fist similarly imbued with the power of Smart Atoms?
Watching Guilliman clench his fist—a fist the size of a boulder, shimmering with a barely visible golden flow of light—as it slowly approached, the Tzeentch demon lay on the ground with an indifferent look, even intentionally posing in an even more provocative stance.
It wanted to see this Primarch fly into a rage because he couldn’t cause it any real harm!
The fist drew closer…
the arrogant smile on the demon’s face grew more pronounced…
Until that heavy punch, packed with the brutal force of Smart Atoms, struck its abdomen, composed of pure psychic energy, squarely and without any fancy tricks!
“Awoooo—!!!”
Agony!
Indescribable agony!
A colossal force, seemingly capable of tearing its soul essence apart, penetrated all its psychic defenses and illusory form, slamming hard into its core!
It felt like a mortal hit head-on by a speeding Land Raider, with its internal organs completely ruptured and displaced!
This sensation was too bizarre!
Since its birth in the Warp, it had never experienced such concrete, physical pain!
Yet, the pain was so incredibly real!
Logically, it shouldn’t be possible for it to feel pain, but now, it was impossible *not* to feel it.
“No… impossible! Wh… why?!” The demon writhed and rolled, emitting broken psychic shrieks.
“Your fist… why can it make me feel pain?! This violates the laws of physics!”
Guilliman did not answer immediately.
Instead, he looked at his fist thoughtfully.
He clearly felt that the power of the Smart Atoms had indeed struck the demon’s spiritual essence squarely, and the effect was outstanding!
This power, originating from the peak of materialism yet touching the realm of idealism, seemed to have a naturally strong “corrective” effect on the falsehood of the Warp.
*I wonder if beating it like this can completely ‘beat it to death’?* Guilliman thought.
*If it can, that would be perfect.
Although swinging the Emperor’s Sword is cool, real men still prefer hand-to-hand combat!*
To find the answer, the best way was—repeated experiments!
Practice is the sole criterion for testing truth!
Fortunately, this Tzeentch demon in front of him looked quite sturdy and should be able to withstand a few more of his test moves.
“Is it not a pleasure to study and practice what you have learned? Is it not a delight to have friends come from afar?” Guilliman suddenly recited a passage of ancient Terran wisdom.
The Tzeentch demon, despite possessing countless forbidden secrets, had never heard this saying from tens of thousands of years ago.
Tormented by both intense pain and curiosity, it subconsciously asked through the Warp, “What… what does that mean?!”
Guilliman gave it an incredibly kind smile and patiently explained, “This sentence means: shouldn’t one feel happy when using real combat to learn new fighting techniques? And when a friend comes from afar just to let me beat them up, shouldn’t that bring joy?”
