Yousti felt proud of himself as he inspired a new batch of martial artists.
‘I’m really acting like the emperor and just straight aura farming.’
He had discovered that people within this world of warhammer 40k or more accurately those touched by the World Intent (世界意志).
Were susceptible to worship or just being fanatic about their beliefs.
It had taken him years of sharply observing the intent of others to come up with this theory.
He had also spent years observing the intent of new martial artists within his academy.
And just as many years studying the World Intent (世界意志) itself.
He formed a theory that all the people within this world of Warhammer 40k or more accurately those touched by the World Intent with the world intent existing within them were influenced into being more fanatic over their beliefs, distorting their own intent.
If this theory was correct then it would begin to explain why there’s so much worship in this universe.
Why the emperor managed to become so fiercely worshipped despite professing reason and part of why the Pantheon of Primordial Annihilation was so corruptive.
Yousti had resisted this influence on his consciousness with the presence of the Martial Record and mastery of intent unknowingly, and now with Heavenly Escape he could completely prevent it.
But Yousti now felt that even if the World Intent were ever to touch him again he would remain firmly rooted upon his own enlightenment.
For he had discovered the color of his own desire.
Vibrant Rainbow/White – Desire (欲)
For every martial artist, desire was perhaps the most elusive intent to see.
Because unlike the other 6 of the 7 basic emotions of intent it was truly unique to oneself.
The emotion of desire was your greatest longing, the driving force of your entire being.
Every martial artist would see desire completely differently.
Even for other emotions some martial artists may view anger as a simple red while others view a bright red.
But Desire could truly be any shade.
So Yousti for the last six years had to figure out, ‘What is my greatest longing?’
He had transmigrated into this world over 60 years ago.
And had always acted with great purpose since the day he was born.
But despite that he really couldn’t answer that question.
That was until he taught the first batch of martial artists and gave them Qi through the Genesis Qi Connection Mantra.
He saw the sensation of enlightenment within their intent as the connection the Mantra passed a grain of his enlightenment to them along with Qi.
And then he knew what his desire was.
‘My desire is enlightenment.
Not just martial enlightenment or my enlightenment.
Just enlightenment in general.
I love understanding and the understanding of others.’
‘Maybe that’s why of all the transmigrator abilities I gained it was the Martial Record.
All it is in the end is just a record of enlightenment, and that’s all I could ever wish for.’
As for the color of enlightenment as a bright white and vibrant rainbow.
‘Enlightenment and the sensation of understanding is something that can embody all emotions.
There’s really not much point in deciding what emotions enlightenment should lead to.
Some realizations are just as hateful and despairing as others are joyful and full of love.’
Yousti remembered the day he reached the Peak realm.
‘Realizing the existence of World Intent was a horrifying experience.
But I would never give that experience up just because it brought about despair.
Losing that enlightenment would be even more painful than living in a world covered in filthy intent.’
Yousti had instantly reached the Late Three Flowers Gather at the Summit when he saw the intent of desire.
The condition to reach the Late and final stage of the Three Flowers was to realize that one could never realize all the colors of emotions.
For the 7 basic colors could combine into an infinite tapestry of colors that describe all emotions and yet there were an infinite more of colors beyond those 7 too.
It could very well be possible that a martial artist would get stuck trying to comprehend every color for the rest of eternity.
But for Yousti it was obvious that you couldn’t understand every emotion or discover every color.
In his eyes, the endless tapestry of emotion wasn’t really that deep, he simply acknowledged the emotions he felt and that others felt in the moment and never bothered with things like trying to understand all of them at the same time.
‘Even if I see the intent of an emotion.
How could I possibly truly understand emotions beyond my own experience.’
Anyways, with his ability to perceive all intent he could sharply observe the World Intent that had all 7 colors and instinctive red, blue, and purple within it.
That was how he came up with the World Intent corruption theory.
And because of that theory he felt that it was necessary to spread the doctrine of true martial arts.
‘In the future the Emperor tries and fails to make his people truly become the rational people that he idealized.
Part of that was that he demanded a truly excessive loyalty that was essentially a one to one with worship.
And also he was just extremely violent and very hypocritical.
He never really took the proper action to shape the way humanity thinks within their own heads.’
‘Teaching martial arts will at most be a bandaid on this problem.
Only a small subset of people will actually attain enlightenment and free themselves of dependence on external things that corrupt their will.’
‘But in the millennia to come, the martial arts philosophy I create will blossom into a shield for the heart of humanity.’
In summary Yousti had reached the peak of the Three Flowers Gather at the Summit stage and had formed a theory on the corruptive nature of the World Intent.
In order to prepare for the grim future of this universe Yousti had begun spreading true martial arts.
‘But damn!
I do be aura farming.’
Yousti had been quite thorough in presenting martial arts in the most impactful way possible.
He had completely severed their perception of the outside world making it appear as if they had entered a void.
He emitted his qi and intent around his body to appear radiant.
And he gave a profound speech on the enlightenment of martial arts while performing the Genesis Qi Connection Mantra on them.
Yousti had been quite thorough in his presentation.
‘The emperor must have practiced this a lot because I really have to be very thorough to present myself as the Divine Silk Spirit like that.
Or maybe it’s just easier for a psyker.’
He looked out of the window of his room.
He saw the hundreds of martial artists who were training and sparring outside.
Each one of them had been given Qi directly from Yousti and most of the ones that came in six years ago had reached second rate.
The fewer talented or incredibly hard working ones reached first rate in these years, with Yousti deciding to boost their talent with his mantra because of their work ethic or talent.
They became instructors for martial arts just like Aurora who was overseeing the final preliminary test.
The school initially teaches normal physical education and normal physical martial arts, along with trying to teach them martial philosophy.
Only when one has proven themselves.
Not through any specific criteria but through general evaluation from a first rate instructor.
They will take the final preliminary test where an at least first rate instructor will decide if they get to attain Qi.
‘I wonder how many more years before someone else reaches the peak realm and sees world intent.
Well at least I know for sure that I’ll live that long, the fifth realm of martial art does slow my aging.
So even if I never advance again I’ll be like those graceful one hundred year old martial masters.
Probably live to 200 years old even.’
‘But whatever it takes.
I’ll reach the sixth stage of martial arts.’
‘5 Energies Converging at the Origin.’
