“This is the most healthy body I’ve ever seen! All three doshas are perfectly balanced. But your chakras are most certainly not.”

‘Internal energy method internal energy method internal energy method internal energy method internal energy method internal energy method.’

Yousti was deeply focused on getting that internal energy method so he could move along his martial path.Full novel: Warhammer 40k X RTOC: Heart Path — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Even though his sensibilities rejected anything that wasn’t scientific or objective he began learning yoga from a yogi after arriving at their destination.

‘This guys been teaching me all about this so called Ayurveda for a week.

I really don’t want to infect my mind with all this terminology and become unscientific but I’ve gotta do what it takes to learn martial arts.’

Sweat was oozing from all of his pores as he was swapping yoga poses like Mettaton while inside what was essentially a sauna room.

Eventually he learned everything he could from the Yogi after many months of lectures and long winded stories.

“I’ve finally finished learning yoga.”

Phaedo who had been staying in the city debating and being a scholar had been on the sidelines the whole time Yousti was learning yoga.

“Yoga must be an excellent practice considering how much stronger you are.”

“I’m aware this is the 8th time you’ve said it today.”

Yousti was in a handstand as he easily twisted his body upright.

His strength had improved incredibly fast, Phaedo who had adopted Yousti was impressed with all the crazy maneuvers he was casually performing.

He still remembered the last words of advice from the Yogi who taught him before he left with Phaedo to travel again.

“You may have learned they physical poses but you must balance your chakras. Your third eye chakra is especially unbalanced.”

‘So he’s saying that I’m too rigid?

That my thinking isn’t broad enough?

That I need character development!

Am I going insane, I’ve spent all this time looking for a internal energy method or a way to create one, just trying to sense this qi or internal energy.

It doesn’t matter I’ll just find a Buddhist monk next.’

2 years later

“…”

“…”

‘This monk never talks.

He’s just been sitting here for hours.’

The singular potato the monk had cooked yesterday was left uneaten.

‘Don’t tell me he forgot to eat?’

Yousti gave up and walked away.

‘Whatever it’s just practicing awareness.

That’s part of the training for becoming a Peak Master martial artist.’

The monk had nothing to say.

20 years later

Phaedo died yesterday.

He and Yousti travelled all the way back to his home city in Greece before he died.

‘I can’t believe he’s dead now.’

Yousti had grown into an effeminate male.

So even though he had been dedicating himself towards his martial practice he had not grown facial hair or body hair.

For many people this would be considered winning the genetic lottery.

But even so he still appeared dirty with unkempt hair.

He had become famous for his physical skills and mastery of martial arts.

Yousti kicked the rotten tree breaking off its bark.

His shins had long been conditioned by endless training to kick just about anything and be fine.

‘The stoic finally leaves me alone…’

He kicked the tree even harder performing a spinning kick with his left leg creating a loud thud.

“He didn’t even give me any proper last words!” He began looking up at the sky and yelling.

“You just went, do what you’ve always been doing, and that’s cool and all but couldn’t you at least have something more interesting to say!”

Silence

“…”

He let out a breath and went back to kicking the tree.

‘I’m in my 30’s now, but I’m still stuck at this bottom tier third rate martial arts stage.

I can’t even convince myself that I’m crazy cause all that martial arts knowledge is imprinted in my mind in some indescribable supernatural way that I can’t describe.’

He stopped kicking the tree and stared at the bark his kicks had ripped away from the tree.

The sharp sensation of pain through his legs echoed in his shins as a reminder of the brutal training that he had committed himself to.

His endless dedication to doing absolutely everything he could to create an internal energy or even just sense any kind of energy within his body had consumed his life.

He had long mastered everything Yoga had to offer.

He learned from the Buddhists and all their philosophies on the cessation of suffering.

He learned every single fighting style and weapon he could get his hands on.

And he listened to even random beggars on the street who spoke absolute nonsense that made absolutely no sense if you thought about it for more than two thoughts.

He began kicking the tree again but this time he wasn’t doing controlled strikes.

He was kicking out of frustration.

‘Why was I given this useless thing when I transmigrated!’

He kicked the tree again.

‘This is literally just ancient times!’

The tree shook a little with the next kick.

‘I’ve spent decades!’

He ignored the pain from kicking too hard.

‘I have done nothing but obsess over reaching a higher stage in martial arts!’

His head felt like it was throbbing with sheer suffering and exasperation.

“AAAGH!”

Yousti hit his head on the tree with everything he had.

Knocking himself out.

Within his dreams he felt an enlightenment.

He wasn’t quite sure if it was himself or his record of martial arts 14 realms.

‘Use your intent to establish the heart of heaven through the heart of man.’

~

Within the warp a ripple permeated from Yousti’s location.

Although it was subtle, so weak that detecting it would be a monumental effort, like detecting a gravity wave for 2nd millennium scientists.

It was distinct in that it permeated the entire warp in it’s immaterial nature.

Neoth the future God Emperor of Mankind turned his head in the direction of Yousti.

His intuition had just vaguely told him something had happened.

The Chaos Gods and every prophet felt a shift in the futures of the universe.

Something irreversible had just happened.

But they didn’t know what.

Even Orikan the Divine though currently still asleep would have noticed a shift in the future had he been awake to observe the stars.

Yousti opened his eyes.

“I understand it now.”
