This rebellion, or perhaps a revolution, ignited like a raging fire, fueled by long-suppressed anger, seeking to burn everything from the bottom up.

However, as a long-entrenched warlord on Terra, the Federation of Indonesia’s hidden cards were definitely not to be underestimated.

Just as the Revolutionary Army was about to reach the Archbishop’s palace, Tang dispatched his most powerful army—the Men of Iron unit.Full novel: Warhammer: I am the Empire’s Eldest Princess — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

As the culprits who plunged humanity into the dark era, everyone knew exactly how powerful the Men of Iron were.

Even so, the warlords on Terra more or less kept some Men of Iron hidden; they didn’t care if they might rebel—as long as they weren’t activated, they wouldn’t, right?

Previously, there was no need to activate them, but now there was; if they didn’t, they would be finished.

As those silver-white iron lumps were deployed to the battlefield, the situation took a sharp turn for the worse.

They were tireless, ignored the Revolutionary Army’s bullets, and their dense firepower forced the revolutionaries into a steady retreat.

“A bunch of useless fools, I still have to rely on my Men of Iron unit.”

Tang sneered in front of the floor-to-ceiling window; these commoners had ultimately lost to him.

“Hmm?”

Tang suddenly noticed something; a group of fighter jets was approaching in the distant sky.

Whose army was that?

Who sent them?

The jets swept past, dropping landing pods like raindrops from the sky.

The doors opened, revealing fully equipped Thunder Warriors.

Morningstar took the lead, kicking open the landing pod door.

Her three pairs of wings unfurled as she swept past the retreating Revolutionary Army like a hawk, charging straight for the Men of Iron.

(In reality, she flew over using Psychic Power.)

The Thunder Warriors also roared, following Morningstar as they charged at the enemy.

Most of the Revolutionary Army was somewhat dazed.

Who were these giants?

However, the eyes of some among them flickered with excitement, and before long, several people stepped forward.

“They are the Imperial army mentioned before!

The Emperor must know we are about to fail, so he sent his army to save us!”

Morningstar shattered the Men of Iron before her, then turned to face the thousands of people, raising the longsword in her hand.

“I am Morningstar, Eldest Princess of the Empire, daughter of the Emperor.

In the name of my father, the future Lord of Terra and even the future Emperor of Mankind, I bring you salvation and freedom.

I declare that the era of your Archbishop’s rule is over.

What follows will be a new era of reason and hope brought by my father.”

Shouts surged like a tide as everyone charged forward.

That was the Archbishop’s palace, the palace of their enemy, and they had waited for this day for a long time.

Morningstar continued to fight the Men of Iron surrounding her.

She had to admit they were quite something; under the AI’s powerful calculating capacity, they could actually barely keep up with her speed.

Moreover, they had no vital spots; even with only a small part of them intact, they would desperately try to obstruct the enemy before them.

Morningstar drew a second longsword: “The Fourth, Twelfth, and Thirteenth Legions, hold the line!

The rest of the Legions, follow me for a breakthrough decapitation strike!”

The offensive woven by her two longswords was impenetrable, and all enemies were sliced into dust the moment they approached.

Morningstar would occasionally release Psychic Lightning to strike down more enemies…

“How did they get here?

Why was there no news at all?”

Tang angrily pushed over the table in front of him: “Who are they?

Who exactly are they?”

“It is the power named the Empire from the Himalayas.”

A servant nearby spoke with fear and trepidation.

“Get me in touch with the head of this Empire, hurry!”

“No need.

My father is occupied with a myriad of affairs; he doesn’t have time to contact you.”

The air went silent for a moment.

Looking at the tall figure that suddenly appeared in the room, Tang felt his heart stop for a second.

“Pardon me, I have some business to discuss with your Archbishop.

Could you step out for a moment?”

Morningstar looked at the servant with a smile, and the latter immediately scrambled away.

“Honestly, making me out to be some kind of devil when I’m clearly so beautiful,” Morningstar muttered to herself.

“Sorcery?” Tang took a deep breath, regaining his dignity as the Archbishop.

The other party was asking how she got in.

It was just a Warp teleportation, which could be considered Warp sorcery.

“Correct.

Although your room also has a Geller Field, it’s too weak.”

“What do you want in exchange for letting me go?” Tang looked up, trying his best not to lose his composure as he stared into Morningstar’s eyes.

“Regrettably, that’s not possible.” Morningstar shook her head with a smile.

If the opponent were a benevolent ruler, her primary plan would certainly be peace talks.

But unfortunately, nothing consoles the people more than killing a tyrant who has oppressed them for a long time.

“Then what are you waiting for?

Why don’t you kill me?”

“I wish to know the location of your Federation’s technological knowledge and give you a dignified death.”

Tang laughed: “A dignified death?”

“Correct.

Do you want to be killed cleanly by me, or do you want me to hand you over to the angry mob outside?”

Tang suddenly slumped down, his head hanging in dejection: “Third basement level of the palace.

The key is my left eye’s iris.”

“Thank you.” The longsword was raised and then fell.

The Archbishop’s tyrannical rule was over.

From the moment the Thunder Warriors joined the battlefield until the end of the war, only six hours had passed.

The Federation of Indonesia was officially incorporated into the Empire’s territory…

“Very good, very good.”

Inside the palace on the Himalayas, Malcador watched helplessly as the Emperor paced around happily.

“Malcador, the Child Morningstar really exceeded my expectations.

I was even prepared to back her up, but I didn’t expect her to do so well.

If she had attacked the Federation of Indonesia by force, she could have certainly taken it, but the cost and time would have been far greater.

Moreover, this Child is kind to both the army and mortals; I haven’t heard a single piece of negative news about her in all this time.

Good, very good…”

The Emperor might seem stern to outsiders, but Malcador knew that whenever something extremely happy happened, the Emperor would reveal his talkative “old father” nature.

One could only say that people of a certain age all have a bit of that.

“My Lord, have you thought about what reward to give the Child?”

The Emperor became slightly more serious: “The equipment the Child is wearing was rushed by me in a single night.

I plan to carefully craft another set of Power Armor and two Master-crafted Power Swords for her.”

“It would be better if you could see the Child with that tone and expression.” The Emperor never showed his talkative fatherly side; every time he saw Morningstar, he had a stiff face.

It was only because Morningstar knew what kind of person the Emperor was; if it were any other Primarch, a family war would have broken out long ago.

“Number Zero is here.” Valdor pushed the door open and walked in.

The Emperor walked to the chair in the center, where a large pile of government affairs was stacked on the desk.

Malcador sat in a nearby chair, casually picking up a memorial to flip through.

Valdor stood to the side like a security guard.

“Good morning, Dad, Uncle Malcador, Uncle Valdor!” Morningstar pushed open the doors, greeting each of them with a beaming smile.

Valdor and Malcador both smiled and nodded in response, while only the Emperor kept a stiff face.

(Malcador: He’s hopeless.)

“Dad, I’ve contacted Albia.

They have the intention of pledging loyalty to the Empire, but their monarch says he wants to talk to you personally.” Morningstar didn’t mind and continued speaking nonchalantly.

The Emperor nodded, indicating he was aware of the matter.

“You’ve performed well recently.

Is there any reward you want?”

Although he had already decided what to give, the Emperor still asked.

If all else failed, he would just send it along with the equipment.

But for some reason, a faint, ominous premonition rose in the Emperor’s heart.

“Really?

Then Dad must answer one question for me—a question I’ve wanted to ask for a long time.”

The Emperor had a vague feeling that he shouldn’t let Morningstar ask, but since the words were already spoken, he couldn’t just forbid the Child from asking.

“Ask then, Child.”

“So, is the story about the Roman She-wolf true?”

Emperor:…

Malcador, Valdor:?

The Emperor’s hawk-like gaze stared directly into Morningstar’s eyes, and she stared back, refusing to be outdone.

The Emperor suddenly laughed—laughed out of sheer anger.

He instantly appeared behind Morningstar, picked her up, and vanished from the spot.

Valdor looked at Malcador with a dazed expression: “Where did they go?”

Malcador took a sip of tea and sighed: “What a sin.”

Not long after, the two reappeared.

Morningstar was clutching her bottom, crying and shrinking behind Malcador as she complained about the Emperor who had sat back down: “Uncle Malcador, you’ve got to talk to my dad!

Who goes around spanking their kid’s bottom?”

“I used Psychic Power to do it,” the Emperor said expressionlessly without looking up.

“Even so, you can’t hit a bottom!

How old is the Child?” Malcador also tried to persuade…

After a bout of chaos, Morningstar left, and the atmosphere became as calm as water again.

“So, what exactly did her question mean?” After a long time, Valdor suddenly asked.

Malcador also looked at the Emperor in confusion.

One was the Captain-General and the other was the Imperial Chancellor; they were well-versed in historical matters, but they really didn’t know what that piece of history had to do with the Emperor.

Emperor:…

“Morningstar!!!”

The Emperor roared in his heart.
