The Warp is the gathering place for the emotions of all living beings; there, time and space do not exist, and all physical laws are absent.

The projections of all souls in the universe form a galaxy in the Warp, akin to countless stars converging.

Among them, the exceptional ones have a particularly profound connection to the Warp; they can draw power from it, gaining various miraculous abilities such as predicting the future or reading minds.Full novel: Warhammer: I am the Empire’s Eldest Princess — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

If you can imagine it, they can do it; people call these individuals Psykers.

But remember, every gift has a price marked in the shadows; once you obtain such power, you must be prepared to be more easily noticed by Them.

At this moment, Morningstar was following Malcador’s instructions, immersing her mind and body into that wondrous state, trying to find that feeling within her heart.

After a moment, Morningstar opened her eyes, and a strange, flowing light shimmered within her pupils, which were like purple gems.

Malcador nodded; it seemed Morningstar had succeeded.

“How is it?

How do you feel?”

Morningstar looked around, observing her surroundings like a curious fledgling.

“It’s so strange, but it feels pretty good.”

What Morningstar saw now was no longer the golden Imperial Palace, but a novel world filled with colorful flowing lights.

The brilliant colors seemed to stir the deepest desires in one’s heart, making one want to remain intoxicated in this world forever.

It was no wonder Little Ma was so obsessed with the Warp; it looked much better than the grim and dark reality.

“Remember, Child, you must only take a shallow taste of things from the Warp; you must never explore it deeply.

This is not just my advice, but the Emperor’s command.”

“Understood, understood.”

Morningstar blinked and closed her psychic vision.

By the way, Malcador’s psychic image was that of a beautiful, white-haired youth.

“Your abilities can only be felt by yourself.

So, how is it…”

“Uncle Malcador, I seem to have a bit of everything.”

Morningstar scratched her head; just a moment ago, she had foreseen two seconds into the future, so she had informed Malcador two seconds in advance.

Malcador wore an “as expected” expression; when the Emperor created Number Zero, He intentionally tested all the future Primarchs; in plain terms, He was just piling on features like crazy.

Therefore, theoretically, Number Zero possessed the abilities of all the Primarchs, albeit in weakened versions.

“Since that is the case, my task is considered complete.

Your Highness should practice more on your own.”

“Don’t do that, Uncle Malcador!

If you won’t teach me, and Uncle Valdor won’t teach me, I’ve only learned for one day!

What could I possibly have mastered?”

Morningstar sat on the ground and grabbed Malcador’s cloak; given the size difference between the two, the scene was somewhat comical.

Malcador pulled his cloak from Morningstar’s grasp.

“Your Highness, you must believe in yourself.

You are already very powerful; there is no need to waste time on such meaningless things.”

Morningstar reached out with a dramatic gesture as she watched Malcador walk away.

Great, she hadn’t even been transmigrated for two days, and she was already going to the battlefield.

The unification of Terra hadn’t even been going on for a hundred years, and according to the original work, it had to go on for another two hundred.

The entire Great Crusade only lasted two hundred years.

Well, this was just great; life really had something to look forward to.

Ushotan was restless at this moment.

As the Legion Primarch of the Fourth Legion of the Thunder Warriors, he had almost never seen all the Legion Primarchs gathered together.

(In fact, the Thunder Warriors did not have Primarchs; what they called Primarchs were actually just equivalent to a Chapter Master.)

He asked the Third Legion Primarch beside him, “How about it?

Have you found out why the Emperor has gathered us all together?”

“No.

This bunch of Custodians are like mutes.”

Inside a tent on the border of the Empire, twenty Legion Primarchs sat in a circle.

At the entrance of the tent, two Custodians who had delivered the message to them stood silently on either side.

Not long ago, the Legion Primarchs, who had been fighting everywhere, were ordered by two Custodians to gather here.

They had been fighting perfectly well, only to be forced to wait here.

Several Legions had even planned to launch offensives today, which now had to be postponed.

To be honest, if it weren’t for the fact that they said this was the Emperor’s will, they would have given those two Custodians a punch or two.

A heavy sound of footsteps rang out, and everyone in the tent rose to their feet.

Rays of golden light shone in; everyone knew the Emperor had arrived.

The Emperor parted the curtain and walked in, His majestic gaze sweeping across everyone present.

Malcador and Valdor stood on either side of the Emperor.

At this moment, none of the Thunder Warriors had their eyes on the three people at the front; they were firmly fixed on the figure behind the Emperor.

She was tall, very tall; the Thunder Warriors were generally two point seven meters tall, while she was at least three point three meters.

She wore magnificent golden armor, with three pairs of beautiful, snow-white wings behind her.

Her long hair was as white as snow, her beautiful eyes like fine purple gems, and two long swords hung at her waist, indicating a power that belied her appearance.

She was the very definition of holiness and beauty, a sight that should not exist in today’s dark and cruel universe.

Ushotan thought, he had long heard that the Empire had an elusive Empress—could she be the one?

But why would the Emperor bring the Empress?

The Emperor put His left hand around Morningstar’s shoulder, the Power Claw colliding with the armor to produce the sound of clashing metal.

Morningstar was forced to stand side-by-side with the Emperor.

“From today on, I will no longer personally participate in matters related to the Unification Wars.

My daughter, Morningstar, will lead you in my stead.

I require you to respect her as you respect Me.”

The Emperor patted Morningstar’s shoulder with His left hand, signaling her to say something.

Morningstar took a deep breath and walked forward, meeting all the curious, suspicious, and amused gazes present.

Ushotan would never forget this day.

He would never forget how this holy angel placed her right hand over her heart, how she knelt on one knee, and how she made her promise to them in a most solemn tone.

She said: “For my father, for the Empire, and for the warriors who will save humanity from endless strife.”

“I know that perhaps you do not trust me, and do not believe that I will lead you as perfectly as my father.”

“Indeed, I do not have my father’s earth-shattering power, nor do I have my father’s wisdom to devise strategies.”

“But I swear, I, Morningstar, the Emperor’s daughter and the Princess of the Empire, I swear that I will exhaust everything I have to contribute to the cause of humanity; I will face terrifying enemies alongside you until I bleed my last drop of blood; I will bathe in the glory of victory with you, or fall into the abyss of failure together.”

“I may not have been born with you, but I am absolutely willing to die with you.”

Ushotan clearly remembered the dust that stained the angel’s wings from the kneeling motion, and clearly remembered how those purple eyes seemed to be glowing.
