Levi stood at the very center of the circle, which was directly beneath the warship, acting as the eye of the entire array.

As he muttered an incantation in a low voice, pale golden psychic runes spread out from beneath his feet, connecting along the ground to the feet of every Thousand Sons warrior.

Countless golden rays of light intertwined, forming a complex and magnificent giant array that enveloped the entire fifty-million-ton warship within it.Full novel: WARHAMMER: MY THOUSAND SONS SOCCERER REORGANIZING THE LEGION — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Inject psychic energy!”

At Levi’s command, two thousand Thousand Sons warriors simultaneously channeled their mental power.

Majestic psychic energy flowed into the array like a tide.

Golden light instantly shot up into the sky, illuminating the entire underground cavern.

“Ascend!”

The veins on Levi’s forehead bulged as the psychic energy of his entire body surged out frantically.

He felt the Warp energy surging over, drawn by the Thousand Sons warriors.

And he, as the eye of the array, was like an energy hub forcibly pried open by tens of millions of tons of water pressure.

He used his own mental power as a conductor, attempting to twist the two thousand violent torrents of psychic energy into a stable lifting force.

Suddenly, the psychic circuit trembled violently.

Levi instantly perceived the abnormal tremor in the psychic conduction and immediately activated the Abyssal Resonance Method, forcibly sorting out the chaotic Warp energy and steadying the array that was on the verge of collapse.

Faint purple lines once again climbed up the corners of his eyes, and a trace of fresh blood subsequently seeped from the corner of his mouth.

Under Levi’s control, the giant warship vibrated slightly and slowly left the bottom of the cavern.

The warship rose higher and higher, getting closer and closer to the surface.

But just as it was about to burst out of the cave opening and gain its freedom, a sudden change occurred.

The planetary core suddenly erupted with a violent tremor.

The entire alloy-reinforced pit wall held on for a moment before collapsing in an instant.

Countless boulders the size of tall buildings, wrapped in smoke and dust, crashed toward the warship.

At the same time, a fatal break appeared in the array’s psychic energy supply.

Several Thousand Sons warriors with weaker psychic energy spat blood and fell to the ground.

The golden light instantly dimmed.

The giant warship sank abruptly and began to plummet downwards.

“Not good!”

Levi’s face turned deathly pale.

He channeled his psychic energy with all his might but was fundamentally unable to stop the plummet of the fifty-million-ton steel behemoth.

Seeing that the giant ship was about to smash into the ground, crushing the over two million people on board and the Thousand Sons warriors in the array into meat paste, a dazzling crimson pillar of light suddenly descended from the sky, piercing through the collapsing mountain and firmly supporting the plummeting warship.

A figure draped in golden robes and wearing a feathered helmet slowly walked out from the pillar of light.

It was precisely the Primarch of the Thousand Sons Legion—Magnus.

He landed lightly beside Levi.

With a wave of his hand, he crushed several boulders smashing toward the eye of the array into fine powder.

His gaze swept over the tottering golden array, then fell on Levi, who had blood at the corner of his mouth, a trace of lingering fear flashing in the depths of his eyes.

“Magister!” Levi was both surprised and overjoyed.

He had not expected Magnus to descend like a divine warrior to save them.

Magnus nodded slightly, his voice gentle yet carrying unquestionable power.

“Steady the array, Levi.

Leave the rest to me.”

He extended his hand.

Psychic energy, so majestic it was suffocating, surged from his palm and converged into the Mandala Spirit-Gathering Array.

The originally dim golden light instantly swelled tenfold, more dazzling than the midday sun.

The plummeting warship stabilized its form once again.

Pushed by the combined efforts of the two, it slowly passed through the clouds and flew toward pitch-black space.

On the ground, Perturabo stood at the edge of the loading platform of Warehouse 3, looking up at that crimson pillar of light in the sky, his fingertips unconsciously stroking the tactical terminal on his wrist bracer.

He watched that giant silver-white ship grow smaller and smaller, eventually turning into a small dot and disappearing into the horizon.

After a long time, he finally spoke coldly into the vox: “Halt loading resources.

All transport ships proceed to space immediately, dock with that silver-white ship, and transfer the remaining civilians.”

“Lord Primarch?

What about the remaining resources…”

“No need to transport them.” Perturabo turned around and walked toward the Stormtalon ahead.

“It’s almost enough, and there is only an hour left.

It is time to go.”

The instant the giant silver-white ship sailed into pitch-black space, long-suppressed cries and landslide-like cheers erupted within its cabins.

Inside the ship, over two million Imperial civilians who had survived the disaster were crowded together.

Aisles and emergency passages were full of people, and many elderly and children could only huddle in the corners of modular living cabins, without even the space to turn around.

But at this moment, they were all wholeheartedly releasing the ecstasy of surviving the disaster.

Perceiving that the silver ship had completely escaped the gravitational binding of Morningstar, Levi’s taut nerves finally relaxed, and he spat a mouthful of blood onto his chest power armor.

Magnus hurriedly stepped forward and lightly tapped the center of Levi’s brows with his fingertip.

Seeing Levi’s aura gradually return to normal, but looking so drained he could barely stand, Magnus sighed softly and said,

“If I had known you would do this to yourself, I should have shown myself right when you were about to push the ship.

I was still a bit too arrogant, thinking that your psychic realm was enough to push this ship.

“And I didn’t even expect the planetary core to suddenly erupt with a violent tremor.

An accident almost happened!”

His tone carried a trace of helplessness, as well as unconcealable lingering fear.

Levi was stunned, looking up at Magnus’s face that bore genuine concern.

“Lord Magister, have you been following behind us the whole time?”

“What else?”

Magnus sighed, a profound sense of exasperation churning in the depths of his eyes.

“Look at you.

Ever since the Flesh Change was completely cured, you’ve spent all day organizing those moldy ancient tomes and fragments, or else tinkering with those psychic manuscripts from lost civilizations.

You push away the legion’s military affairs whenever you can.

You even managed to be absent from three legion meetings last month.

“This mission to Morningstar was your first time commanding a large-scale Thousand Sons expeditionary vanguard force.

I’m really worried about you, so with my flagship, the Photep, had been following closely behind you all along.”

He paused, his tone sinking.

“Levi, I know you love working with books, but Ahriman is too paranoid and obsessive, Phosis T’kar is too gentle, and as for the chief magisters of the other three great schools, they also each have their own shortcomings, making them unsuitable for such a task.

“Only you have both sufficient psychic talent and a calm mind.

I need you to help me.”

Levi fell silent.

He didn’t want to do this either, but the Nexus Points of the Infiltrator System were mostly obtained by organizing ancient tomes; he had no choice either.

Moreover, only with more points would he have the certainty of gaining more wizard power and escaping Tzeentch’s schemes and be more certain of completely isolating the Thousand Sons from Chaos.

Levi thought for a moment and decided that when he had free time in the future, he would participate more in frontline military command to appease Magnus’s concerns.

“I apologize, Lord Magister.

From now on, I will put military affairs first.”
