Trist arrived at the city gate.

After being verified by the city guards, he climbed the steps and ascended the city wall.

Then, he entered the stone house where the commander was located.Full novel: Western Fantasy: My MC System Has Creative Mode — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Regarding Trist’s sudden visit, the knights inside who were holding a meeting to discuss the refugee issue stopped their communication and stared straight at him.

“Butler Trist? What are you doing here?”

A cold and arrogant female voice sounded; it was precisely the red-haired, red-eyed Female Knight seated at the head of the knights’ round table.

Her long hair was like a waterfall of lava congealed by the flames of war, and the heroic spirit between her brows made it impossible for anyone to harbor any thoughts of desecration.

She had a tall figure and a graceful posture; even wearing heavy armor could not conceal her elegance.

Carved on the chest of her armor were the thorn and rose patterns symbolizing the Windsor Family.

Isabella Windsor.

The acting leader of the Wintertown Knights Order, her other identity was Levi’s head guard, responsible for protecting the safety of this Dawn Kingdom royal family member.

However, the relationship between Levi and her was not a simple superior-subordinate relationship; the object of allegiance for the Windsor Knight was the entire kingdom, so in a strict sense, she was more like a supervisor of this royal selection.

Originally, Isabella should have been closely protecting Levi’s life and safety, but right now refugees were gathering outside the city, and turmoil could erupt at any moment.

As a Second-Order Knight, Isabella naturally had to be on the front line, guarding against any unexpected events at any time.

“Lord Isabella, I am here to inform you that in three hours, open the city gates and prepare to provide relief to the disaster victims.”

?!

Isabella’s brows furrowed instantly, and with a snap, she stood up from her seat.

What an absurd order did she hear?

“Trist, have you lost your mind!”

“Do you know how tight the food reserves in the city are!”

“A month of continuous blizzard has cut off food transportation; with the current reserves, even the civilians in the city will soon not have enough to eat.”

“Opening the city gates in this situation, those starving refugees will definitely lose their minds and pour into the town.”

“You should be clearer than me about what these crazy refugees can do for a bite to eat, to survive!”

“I am clear.” Trist nodded composedly.

As a seasoned veteran, how could Trist not understand where the root cause of Wintertown’s current crisis lay?

The food shortage was too large, and supplies could not keep up; if the city gates were truly opened and the refugees found that there was still no food after entering Wintertown, then these refugees would turn into rioters.

Dead was dead either way; dying with a full stomach was better than starving to death.

But now, the problem had been solved, and the food crisis no longer existed.

His Highness Levi used magic to accelerate the growth of a large batch of potatoes, and was also preparing to accelerate a second batch, a third batch…

“Lord Knights Order Leader.” Trist looked at the Female Knight before him, “This is His Highness’s order.”

“His Highness has already found a way to solve the problem.”

“Guaranteed to let every refugee fill their stomach.”

Upon hearing that it was Levi’s order, Isabella immediately fell silent.

The other party was the lord of Wintertown and also the Sixth Prince of the Dawn Kingdom.

Naturally, she could not have too many objections.

Clearly, the blood of the Windsor Family flowed through their bodies.

But the things this fellow Levi did had no backbone to speak of whatsoever.

Even arriving at such a remote place, he still kept torturing the attendants around him.

During the last hunt, he even made the attendants use arrows without arrowheads to hunt magical beasts.

If Isabella hadn’t stepped in because she couldn’t bear it anymore, a few attendants would probably have been killed by the First-Order magical beast, Frost Bear.

Isabella could never forget that after she acted, emotion representing “boredom” actually revealed itself in Levi’s eyes.

This was a desecration of life!

As the lord, Levi couldn’t possibly not know what terrifying things would happen if the city gates were opened right now.

But the other party still issued the order.

It was hard to imagine what kind of mentality the other party was holding.

Wantonly trampling on other people’s lives?

“Take me to see Levi… Your Highness!” Isabella said gritting her teeth.

She walked straight toward Trist.

Trist, who was familiar with Isabella, also understood that the other party would not execute the order directly right now.

He didn’t say much more; anyway, once Isabella saw the “miracle” displayed by His Highness Levi, she would obediently obey.

…

Along the way, the two were silent.

Passing through the gates of the Lords Mansion, they entered the back garden.

The bustling and lively scene caused Isabella’s footsteps to pause for a moment.

“What… is being done here?”

Isabella looked at the scene before her, her eyes filled with confusion.

She knew all these attendants, but now they were each doing strange things.

Someone was continuously transporting coal, potatoes, and beast bones into the back garden, someone was clearing the soil, someone was sowing potato tubers, someone was scattering strange white powder, someone was harvesting potatoes, and there was even someone nearby baking potatoes using a huge stone furnace wall?!

What kind of ghost was this thirty-meter-long furnace wall?!

Had the back garden of the Lords Mansion been invaded by dwarf blacksmiths?

Viewed separately, these things were all very normal, but the problem was that when combined, they looked like an absurd stage play.

The general director of this stage play was lying on a recliner, wearing a very leisurely expression—His Highness the Sixth Prince, Levi Charles.

Upon seeing Trist and the red-haired Female Knight Isabella behind him, Levi stood up from the recliner.

His gaze was attracted by Isabella at the first instance; after all, in the freezing snow and ice, this flash of red figure was simply too eye-catching.

Memories regarding Isabella instantly flooded into Levi’s mind.

The other party’s identity could be considered Levi’s distant cousin, originally from a branch of the Windsor Family, but because of her extraordinary knightly talent, at a young age, she became a Second-Order Knight and was exceptionally promoted as a main branch member.

An upright and arrogant Female Knight—that was Levi’s first impression of Isabella.

Levi’s sharp gaze instantly captured the unnaturalness in the other party’s state.

The other party was clearly somewhat angry.

However, the other party’s anger had been completely disrupted by the baked potato production line before her eyes.

Her eyes were full of bewilderment, and her face was written all over with why.

Trist’s old face revealed a smug smile:

“Lord Knight Commander Isabella, as you can see,”

“His Highness used magic to create a baked potato production line.”

“From the production of potatoes to a batch of baked potatoes coming out of the oven, it takes less than thirty seconds.”

“Three hours is enough for us to produce thousands of baked potatoes, enough for the refugees outside the city to eat for several weeks!”

“What did you say? That’s simply impossible!”

Isabella widened her eyes and instinctively retorted.

“Impossible?” Levi slowly walked closer to her.

Until the distance between the two was no more than a fist.

Staring into her crimson pupils, Levi spoke calmly, completely in the posture of a superior:

“You mean… This King is lying?”
