“It hurts,” she whimpered.
“Go easy, Jiang Yuanchuan,” she pleaded.
On the king-sized bed, the fair and soft young woman was awakened by the man’s burning lips. That heat traveled down along her exquisite collarbone, lingering upon her tenderness as if he could never get enough.
Recalling the provocative text message he had just received, the man’s teeth tightened slightly with resentment, causing the girl to tremble and protest softly in response.
“Didn’t you go straight to work after dropping Tangtang off at the kindergarten?”
“I want you.”
The man covered her again, imperiously leaning close to rub against her cheek and temples, his solid arms pinning her down securely beneath him.
His direct and vulgar words brought the girl to full alertness, and she was even a little annoyed; they had clearly just been intimate last night!
He wanted it again?
She raised her hands, pressing against his solid chest to refuse him. “I have an interview later, the final round. It is very important!”
At the mention of this, the man seemed to lose his sanity for a moment. He suddenly kissed her fiercely, then grabbed her by the waist and domineeringly claimed her as his own.
Five years of marriage had long made Xu Mian’s body exceptionally sensitive to her husband, Jiang Yuanchuan. His earlier dense, fiery kisses had already prepared her to accept him, so much so that she instinctively let out a soft moan, tender and lingering.
The man groaned low in satisfaction. Their perfect compatibility caused the inexplicable hostility deep in his eyes to subside a little. He kissed the girl beneath him, coaxing her, “I’ll only bring you pleasure. You will still make it in time.”
Xu Mian was flushed with embarrassment and anger, but her voice was soon entirely devoured by his fierce kiss. Soft and delicate, she could only sink into the surge of his powerful force.
The moment she was sent to the clouds, she panted heavily in rapid gasps. The corners of her eyes were completely red, bearing a tear or two forced out by the sheer extremity of pleasure.
While she trembled, trying to catch her breath, the man buried his face against her ear and announced in a low voice, “Xu Mian, remember the pleasure I give you. You are mine, and you can only be mine!”
Xu Mian didn’t know why his beastly nature had erupted so intensely today, driving so deep and heavy that she had almost slipped off the bed several times. She only knew that she was furious right now.
Always emotionally stable, she couldn’t help but complain, “Jiang Yuanchuan, do you have any idea that I’m going to be late for my interview?!”
The man bit her earlobe, his tone nonchalant. “If you’re late, then don’t go. It’s not like I, Jiang Yuanchuan, can’t afford to support you. What’s the point of working?”
Xu Mian’s chest instantly tightened with frustration; Jiang Yuanchuan’s words made her feel a profound lack of respect.
She desperately wanted to work.
She had married Jiang Yuanchuan at twenty-two, right after graduating from college. Before she even had the chance to officially look for a job, she became unexpectedly pregnant, completely disrupting her life plans.
Fortunately, she adjusted in time and used her pregnancy to successfully study for and pass the graduate school entrance exam.
Over the past few years, she completed her master’s degree while raising their daughter. Once their three-year-old daughter fully adapted to kindergarten life, she immediately began submitting resumes to look for a job.
Even though she was married to Jiang Yuanchuan, a tech titan and the newly crowned richest man in Haicheng, she still needed a job.
Because as a married woman, this was the dignity she gave herself.
The message she had consistently conveyed to Jiang Yuanchuan over the years was that she would go to work once their daughter started kindergarten. Jiang Yuanchuan had been very supportive at first; after all, when he coaxed her younger self into giving birth to his child, he had promised that the child would never become a constraint to her chasing her dreams in the future.
Yet now, he was asking what the point of working was.
How could Xu Mian not feel disappointed? How could she not feel angry?
She pulled the thin quilt from the side to cover her delicate, tight figure, sat up, and looked at Jiang Yuanchuan. Her cool, beautiful almond eyes were filled with absolute determination. “Jiang Yuanchuan, I have always wanted to work.”
Jiang Yuanchuan’s gaze fell upon the red marks on her collarbone, and his restless, irritated heart felt immense satisfaction.
He reached out to caress her fair shoulder, coaxing her in a gentle voice, “Mianmian, in my view, now that Tangtang is in kindergarten, it’s time for you to properly enjoy life. Paint at home, drink coffee, take care of your skin, or go shopping, take vacations, or come to the company to keep me company. Isn’t a life like that wonderful?”
After saying this, he stood up to straighten his clothes. Xu Mian blushed slightly and averted her eyes.
He had only brought her pleasure just now without getting his own release, so a certain part of him was still intimidatingly tense. Yet he had forcibly restrained himself, which instead made him look a bit disheveled, even somewhat pitiful.
It was as if he were being remarkably humble in this matter, but in reality, he was overwhelmingly dominant, finding new ways to satisfy himself every single time. She just didn’t know what kind of madness had taken over him today to play the sympathy card with her.
The man’s movements as he straightened his clothes were slow, methodical, and elegant. Even though he was thirty-seven, time seemed to have left no harsh marks on his face. His features remained deep and handsome; if anything, his demeanor had settled into an even more effortless composure.
Xu Mian had to admit that whether in terms of physique, looks, or wealth, he was the ultimate dream for women.
But that didn’t stop her from wanting to work, nor did it stop her from being annoyed with him right now.
Yet he kept preaching, “I married you and brought you under my wing because I wanted you to be the happiest woman in the world, to give you the very best of everything. Mianmian, do you know how tough the workplace is? Especially for a married woman. I can’t bear the thought of you taking abuse from others.”
Unable to bear it any longer, Xu Mian frowned and interrupted him, “That is your idea of good. The value I want in my life isn’t being a wealthy housewife who stays at home to attend to her husband and raise their daughter. It has never been that!”
Her final sentence was laced with heavy emotion. Jiang Yuanchuan felt it, and his hands paused mid-action while fastening his belt. Meanwhile, his young wife had already cast aside the quilt, stepped out of bed, and headed straight for the bathroom.
Looking at that exquisite body made his blood run hot again. He shouldn’t have let her off so easily just now; he should have pinned her down and made love to her until she didn’t have an ounce of strength left to go to that damn interview!
He had originally intended to satisfy only her, playing pitiful so she would feel sorry for him, but who knew she wouldn’t appreciate it and that things would almost fall apart instead!
Jiang Yuanchuan took a deep breath, suppressing the growing anxiety and irritability in his chest. He grabbed his tie and walked out of the bedroom.
When the young woman finished washing up, got dressed neatly, and walked out of the bedroom, he took the initiative to show goodwill. “I’ll drive you to your interview.”
She refused directly. “No need. I’ll drive myself.”
He wanted to say more, but the young woman flashed him a sweet, cold smile. “CEO Jiang, you had better hurry to the company. Otherwise, how are you going to make money to give me the best of everything in this world?”
His usually gentle and soft-spoken young wife had just sarcastically snapped back at him. Jiang Yuanchuan was so exasperated that he actually laughed. He raised his hand to catch her and teach her a lesson, but she had already turned around and swiftly run out the door.
Her white BMW was parked in front of the villa. She got into the driver’s seat, seamlessly starting the car and reversing out in one fluid movement before speeding away.
Jiang Yuanchuan stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling window with his hands on his hips, watching her impatient act of escaping from him. He couldn’t help but grit his back teeth tightly.
Fine. Let her go to the interview.
He would like to see if she would even dare to take the job!
