They continued running till they saw light at the end of the tunnel.

Meanwhile, above the ruins of Berecs, a flame devil floated above, contemplating it all.
“What is this place” “Why is this the dark faction” “Heretics having their own land” “Blasphemy” In its rage, Mal’za’keeth unleashes barrages of fireballs onto the land below.
“This cannot be” “How much time has passed since I was guarding the tunnels” Thoughts raced through its head while it unleashes a storm of fireballs, causing destruction to the land.
Suddenly, it felt many powerful figures approaching its position.
Next thing you know it, Headmaster Mensarius stood there.
Behind him, the teachers of Marshgrave, all poised to strike.
The headmaster speaks: Its been a while since I last saw a flame devil.
Who are you, and what are you doing here?
The flame devil turns around and looks at him.
Flames burning with anger.
“The fire nation will not tolerate such blasphemy” “Dark faction having a school, owning land in this world.
The 5 elements need to right this immediately!” Headmaster Mensarius sighs, turns around and ask all teachers to stand back, and turns to speak again with the flame devil.
“I believe you have been resting for quite a long time.
It is now the 2nd age after the great dragon righted the balance of the world.

It turns to speak to the headmaster.

Are you not from the metal empire as the humans are usually from?

Your attacks are endangering the lives of my student.
I am here to stop you from escalating this further, or beat you if I must.” The last part triggered the flame devil.
These prideful creatures cannot stand the idea of being belittled.
“Beat me?
You are clearly overestimating yourself” and then he launches a fireball straight at the headmaster.
The headmaster sighs and magically summon his weapon.
A staff of ornate details, with various gems and jewels adorning it.
He then started firing water magic at the devil, quenching the fireball first and pushing the flame devil back with its high pressure water jets.
The flame devil, obviously in denial, conjured up a flaming sword and charged towards the headmaster.
Slashes after slashes were blocked with mini ice shields that seems to appear in mid air.
It blocked all the moves of the flame devil.
Then, the headmaster blast it with wind magic to push the devil back.
Feeling cornered, the flame devil charges its magic and produces about 10 flame spears.
Eat this, filthy human.
With a swing of its scaled brimstone crimson arm, the flame spears roared to life and shoot straight at its target.
Mensarius sighs, and snap his fingers.
Magic circles began appearing all around him.
Then 5 different elements started blasting out from each magic circle to counter the flames spears.
Fire streams, water jets, metal cannons, earthen boulders, hardwood shields.
Each flame spear negated by its magic.
Mensarius spoke to it.
“This is getting nowhere.
I introduced myself and you are attacking me?
You did not even introduce yourself.
Such ill manners.” Alas, while this is fun and a little exercise, my 30 year old bones are a little tired.
Time to get serious.
Mensarius crossed his arms.
His long silver hair flowing behind.
Dark aura started stemming from his shoulders.
As the aura coalesce into being, the next thing you know it, a giant shadow demon has formed behind it.
Dark magic: Shadow Demon Now, capture this devil, my demon.
If not, kill it.
The shadow demon was still, but upon given command, it roared and flex before the shadows extend out, reaching to Mal’za’keeth.
Mensarius smiled and say: This is your last chance to surrender, if not you are going to suffer.
The flame devil, taunted by this mere human, unleashes more power.
Its wings extend out.
Flames started dancing.
The light and heat produced is starting to increase exponentially.
The devil was going for an all out attack.
PUNY HUMAN.
FEEL MY WRATH.
As it raised his hand into the air, the flames joined up, forming a huge fireball, with many smaller fire streams circling around it.
Let the flames of the elements purify this darkness!
Fire magic: Incineration The fireball was thrown towards the shadow demon, which claws it in and is holding the fireball back.
Mensarius chuckle, and said: The properties of darkness is corruption, twisting, absorption, nothingness.
Mere fire will not be able to stop the demon.
Where there is light, there is shadow.
The shadow demon began consuming the fireball.
As it consumes, the corrupting aspect of dark magic twist and turns the flames, forming different colors of flames of varying intensity.
As it consumes, the shadow demon only seems to grow bigger and bigger.
Once the last of the flaming fireball is gone, the demon then unleashes a straight punch into the devil, punching it out of the sky and into the ground below.
The flame devil, freefalling from the skies, crashed into the lands with a loud thud and cracks formed around the terrain.
Dust blew outwards from its point.
Mensarius descends from the sky with the shadow demon in tow.
Had enough?
asked Mensarius.
The flame devil had passed out.
The shadow demon scooped it out with its hands.
Mensarius turns back to the teachers and gave instructions.
“Bind it with magic seals, lock it in the dungeon.
I have questions for it later.
The rest of us can stand down” A few teachers immediately came to the scene and started casting spells to form magical circles and seals on the flame devil.
Headmaster Mensarius kept back his shadow demon, and turns around, flying back to the academy.
Meanwhile, the four guys in our party has finally emerged from the tunnel, and had witness the entire battle while hidden.
They did not move as they know it would risk getting caught in the crossfire.
Now that the battle is over, they began rushing Leo to the school and off to the hospital wing.
While running, the prince say: “That was some battle, I hope I can awaken some powerful talent for myself tomorrow.
To be that powerful, like the headmaster, would be a dream come true” Leo groans in pain, covering his eye and disfigured portion of his face.
It was burning red and blistered severely.
Reginald says: We can talk about this later, hurry!
Leo needs medical attention!
The four of them ran and reached the gates of the school.
Marshgrave School.
Its motto: All returns to nothingness, Printed just below the schools name.
The guards stop our party and saw the Prince.
They all stood at attention and greeted him.
“Your Highness, Prince Kenius.” “Quick, I need help.
My friend is injured and we need to bring him to the hospital wing, fast!” “Yes, Your Highness” Two of the guards immediately went to assist and carry Leo.
The gate is then opened and the party with 2 guards began rushing straight to the hospital wing.
