Mu Zhiheng offered a street-front shop in the Haicheng CBD along with three million yuan.

Yun Qi was very satisfied with this newly acquired grand-disciple, but the System had already raised a level-ten alarm.

“Lord Host! How could you let the male lead take him as a disciple? You should know he is the primary matchmaker between the male lead and Mu Zhiyu! You should have kicked him far away!”Full novel: A Guide to Raising the Straight Long Aotian — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Why? Little P, do you think I am not as beautiful as Mu Zhiyu?” Yun Qi operated a tablet with one hand. The intersecting red and blue lines on the screen gave the CP-Breaking System a headache.

“Hehehe, Lord Host, you are obviously more beautiful than Mu Zhiyu, but you are not as rich as she is!”

“What does our Dragon Awe Tian male lead, Wen Zui, care about most? Money and beautiful women! You possess neither!” The System delivered a grand speech above Yun Qi’s head, floating a bit higher with every word, completely immersed in its own drama.

“Am I not busy making money right now? Mu Zhiheng is a walking treasury delivered to our door; it would be a waste not to take it,” Yun Qi replied calmly. Suddenly remembering something, he looked up at the silver ball floating in the air.

“System, can you not analyze stocks?”

The silver light on the System dimmed instantly. It stammered, “That, well, Lord Host, I am a romance-brained system. I do not know how to do those types of things.”

Yun Qi unceremoniously rolled his eyes at it.

“Previously, I clearly stopped Liu Ruoling and Pei Jingqiao from developing deeper feelings for Wen Zui. Why was the mission not considered a success?”

“Because you did not thoroughly sever the bonds between them!” This question hit the silver ball right in its comfort zone, and it began to ramble.

“Liu Ruoling and Wen Zui are childhood friends. Their greatest bond is originating from the same orphanage, and there is a certain ambiguous sentiment involved. As for Pei Jingqiao, it was her momentary soft-heartedness that gave Wen Zui a place to stay. Wen Zui feels deep gratitude toward her. The moment you stop paying attention, they will roll together again!”

“It sounds like the key lies with Wen Zui. Would it not be solved if I just castrated him?” Yun Qi stroked his chin, his gaze drifting toward the lower half of the male lead, who was currently cooking in the kitchen.

“That way, the population of this small world definitely won’t explode.”

“No! No! Lord Host, you are crazy!” The silver ball flickered wildly, jumping back and forth on Yun Qi’s shoulder in a state of collapse.

“Wen Zui is the Child of Fortune in this world. If you castrate him, the world will collapse!”

“Then I will just be faster and finish it before the world collapses?” Yun Qi suggested mischievously.

“Absolutely not! If you do that, you can forget about ascending!” The silver ball rolled away in a huff, unwilling to say another word to this heartless host.

“In that case, how about drugging him so he becomes impotent?” It would keep the person intact while preventing him from committing crimes. Yun Qi thought this was very feasible.

System: “I beg you to let the male lead’s Great Jinjiang go!”

“Underhanded methods will not work! Give up, Host!” The System’s distraught roar drifted from a distance. Yun Qi lowered his head, a smirk playing on his lips, and walked into the kitchen.

Following his routine of satisfying his desire for physical contact, Yun Qi rested his face on Wen Zui’s shoulder, rubbing against his neck while watching him stir-fry.

“Hey! That tickles! I cannot even hold the pan!” Wen Zui was extremely ticklish. He leaned his head away as much as possible, stir-frying the chili pork at top speed. His hands were shaking as if he had Parkinson’s disease.

Yun Qi loved teasing people. Seeing Wen Zui’s strong reaction, he reached out and gripped his waist, one hand sliding up his torso to gently tickle his armpit.

“Stop messing around, Yun Qi!” Wen Zui’s face was red from laughing, but he did not forget to toss the pan. One hand desperately tried to block Yun Qi’s restless hand, while the other steadily plated the delicious food.

“You care that much about this dish?” Yun Qi picked up a pair of chopsticks and took a bite. His eyes turned red from the spice, and he hurriedly ran to drink water.

The thermal lunchbox clicked shut. While packing the food, Wen Zui replied, “I left a bit for you. I am going out to deliver food now. Eat it while it is hot.”

Yun Qi wondered what was happening. A blue shadow flashed across the room. Yun Qi leaned one hand against the front door, blocking Wen Zui’s path.

“Where are you going?”

“Ruoling said the bun shop is busy today, so I am bringing her dinner. I know you like sweets; I will make you something next time, okay?” Wen Zui used the tone one would use to coax a child. After brushing Yun Qi off, he tried to leave.

Yun Qi smiled, his eyes appearing soft and gentle. Suddenly, he reached out and snatched the lunchbox from Wen Zui’s hand, holding it high above his head.

“How is your cultivation progressing?”

“I am at the peak of the first level of Qi Refinement!” Wen Zui was full of pride. Having just defeated a third-level cultivator, he felt invincible and high-spirited.

“Give me the lunchbox! Ruoling will be worried!”

Yun Qi crossed his arms and lightly tapped Wen Zui on the forehead, instantly freezing him in place with a binding spell.

He placed the lunchbox on the shoe cabinet, then picked Wen Zui up by his armpits and set him down in a meditative pose in front of the floor-to-ceiling window.

“Cultivation relies most on absorbing the essence of the Sun and Moon. You cannot wake up in the morning and you do not practice at night. How can you become strong like this?” Yun Qi pinched his cheek firmly. Seeing Wen Zui blinking anxiously, trying to look cute, Yun Qi could not help but let out a laugh.

“I will deliver the food for you. You stay put.”

Liu’s Bun Shop

The sky had gradually darkened. Liu Ruoling was bent over wiping a table when she suddenly heard soft footsteps behind her.

“A Zui, you are here?” She turned around abruptly, but it was not Wen Zui.

The newcomer looked to be in his twenties, thin and pale, wearing a beige suit and slender silver-rimmed glasses. He was Du Jiamu, the childhood friend of Liu Ruoling and Wen Zui.

“Is A Zui coming today as well?” He naturally took the rag from Liu Ruoling’s hand and finished the remaining work for her. “Is he not working overtime today?”

Seeing this, Liu Ruoling sat down to rest. Hearing Du Jiamu ask about Wen Zui, she drank some water and replied, “He quit. I do not know what he has been up to lately.”

“He quit? Maybe I should send him two thousand yuan; I am afraid he might go hungry.” Du Jiamu paused his movements and reached for his phone.

“No need! It seems A Zui won the lottery.” At the mention of this, Liu Ruoling’s eyes widened, and she excitedly told Du Jiamu, “He is living in Tianyao Zichen Mansion now.”

“What?” Du Jiamu stopped sweeping in shock. Before he could say more, he was interrupted by the arrival of the person who appeared to be Wen Zui.

“Ruoling, your food is here.” The person handed the food to Liu Ruoling with a grin and then turned to the man standing nearby.

System: “Lord Host, this is Du Jiamu, the childhood friend of Wen Zui and Liu Ruoling. He has a bit of money and died very early in the original work.”

Receiving the key information, Yun Qi narrowed his eyes and greeted him with a smile.

“Jiamu, it has been a long time. Has business been busy lately?”

The small shop was filled with the aroma of food. Liu Ruoling ate while observing the two men; she felt the atmosphere was a bit strange today.

“It is alright, it is alright. A Zui, why do you look even more handsome? You are almost putting your older brother here to shame.” Du Jiamu joked, putting an arm around the shoulder of the man he thought was Wen Zui.

“Because I have someone I like. I have been paying more attention to my image lately.” An inexplicable touch of tenderness appeared in the man’s eyes. He spoke total nonsense with a straight face, causing the two listeners’ jaws to drop.

“What did you say?” The stainless steel spoon in Liu Ruoling’s hand scraped sharply against the glass lunchbox, making a piercing sound. She asked again in disbelief.

“I said I have someone I like!” The person stood up and spun around, showing off the outfit from every angle. “He bought all of this for me! Even the underwear!”

He looked exactly like someone deeply in love who could not help but show off.

Liu Ruoling was speechless and began to examine the clothes closely. The old, worn-out black cotton jacket usually worn had been replaced by a long Adidas black down jacket. There were the latest sneakers, a face flushed with health, and even the hereditary dark circles had vanished.

He had leveled up in handsomeness. He looked like someone with both money and leisure, or someone who was being well-nurtured.

“Hey! Wen Zui, you did not secretly find a sugar mommy behind our backs, did you?” Du Jiamu joked. Liu Ruoling froze for a moment, lowered her head to pick up her spoon, and began eating in silence.

“It is not a sugar mommy. It is a sugar daddy; a rich second-generation guy who is six-foot-two and incredibly handsome!”

“What?” Du Jiamu and Liu Ruoling frowned, looking as if their ears were malfunctioning, and stared in a daze.

“Will you discriminate against me because I like men?” The eyes were usually melancholic and cold, but now Liu Ruoling saw a hint of pitifulness in them.

She struggled to digest the fact that her friend was being kept by a wealthy man and reached out to pat his head.

“How could we? A Zui, we grew up together. How could we discriminate against you?”

“That is good!” The man let out a massive sigh of relief and grabbed their hands. “I fell in love with him at first sight. Before I met him, I realized I did not understand what love was at all! Now, both my body and my heart belong entirely to him!”

He pulled at the long white cashmere sweater, revealing a deep bite mark on his neck, flaunting it to his friends.

Liu Ruoling and Du Jiamu were speechless.

System: “Lord Host, I feel like they are both turning into stone! Hahahahaha! Well done!”

“Won’t you bless me?” Yun Qi blinked.

Du Jiamu was the first to react. He gave an awkward laugh, patted the man’s shoulder, and said, “Brother, I wish you happiness.”

Liu Ruoling was a few beats slower. She forced a smile, but the word “congratulations” felt like a fishbone stuck in her throat; she could not say it.

“A Zui, does he like you too? What if he is just playing around?”

“He will not, Ruoling. I will use my body to keep him! He is not even satisfied with seven times a night yet.” Yun Qi vowed confidently.

Christmas Theater: Radish and Tissue Version

Yun Qi has recently been addicted to short videos and finds this meme very interesting. That night, Wen Zui was about to go to bed when he was blocked by a light barrier. Yun Qi revealed his snake tail and said coldly, “Tail.”

Wen Zui looked at the tail and swallowed. After a long while, he murmured, “Although the tail is very deep, I still prefer your Great Jinjiang. It is warm.”

Yun Qi did not know whether to laugh or cry. He handed the tail to Wen Zui and flicked it impatiently. “Tail!”

Seeing his persistence, Wen Zui could only nod tearfully. “Alright, but promise me you will be gentler today, okay?”

“Tail!” Yun Qi sighed and touched his forehead. Even when he tried to help him cheat, the boy still could not pass the test!

Wen Zui was confused. He reached out tentatively and touched it. “Tail?”

“Excellent! Your reward is your favorite Great Jinjiang!”
