Thinking about her recent humiliation, Susu was spurred by a wicked impulse.

Without a second thought, she pounced and—CHOMP—sank her teeth into the tip of the Black Panther’s tail.

Unfortunately, with her meager strength and baby teeth that hadn’t fully grown in, the “attack” didn’t even qualify as an itch for the Black Panther.Full novel: A Leopard Cub Shouldn’t Be This Pampered — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Instead, by exposing herself, she gave the waiting Brother Leopard the perfect opportunity.

He hooked her small body with a paw, dragged her in front of him, gently pinned her down, and proceeded to lick her from head to tail to his heart’s content.

Having failed to get her revenge and only suffering a new humiliation, Susu was now covered from head to tail in saliva.

She was so mortified and furious she wanted to bash her head against the nearest tree trunk and die.

Brother Leopard, however, was clearly not as dejected as Susu.

He seemed to be in an excellent mood.

After she struggled out of his embrace, he snatched her right back and, still not satisfied, held her down for another round of licks…

“AWOO!”

Susu could no longer contain her fury.

She struggled with all her might to break free from the Black Panther’s vise-like grip, raised a paw, and swiped viciously at his face.

However, her furious assault was completely painless to Brother Leopard.

In fact, due to the lack of force behind it, he even mistook her actions for a cute, playful game.

The result of this beautiful misunderstanding was that Susu, without any suspense, once again received a baptism by Brother Leopard’s saliva.

‘Damn it, he’s going to lick me ’til I melt!’

Susu let out a disgusted, protesting rumble from her throat and struggled out from under the Black Panther’s control once more.

Fearing he would pull the same trick again, she quickly backed away, creating what looked like a safe distance but was, in reality, completely useless.

Brother Leopard didn’t chase after Susu this time.

Instead, he lifted his head slightly to glance at the sky, gave a lazy yawn, then patted the empty space in front of him, signaling for her to come over.

“Awooo~”

Susu gently shook her head, making her resolute refusal clear.

Brother Leopard, however, gave Susu neither the time nor the opportunity to refuse.

He got up and, before she could react, pounced.

He expertly and gently bit the scruff of her neck, carrying her back without any room for protest.

Then, domineering and insistent, he curled around Susu and started to fall asleep.

Susu struggled in protest at first, but under Brother Leopard’s brute strength, she knew she had to quit while she was ahead.

She temporarily relented, snuggling into the Black Panther’s embrace and closing her eyes.

Susu slept surprisingly soundly.

When she opened her eyes again, daylight had broken, and Brother Leopard was gone.

Susu got to her little feet, stretching forwards and back to loosen up a body stiff from being curled up all night.

She gave her tail a lazy flick, but after a single glance around, she abandoned any thought of escaping again.

Clearly, this part of the jungle was Brother Leopard’s territory.

At her current speed, no matter how fast she ran, there was no way she could escape the pursuit of this Brother Leopard who was so determined to have her.

Susu had no desire to waste time and energy on something so difficult and pointless.

She paced back and forth across the clearing for a few steps before lazily lying down on the ground again.

Based on the knowledge she’d gleaned from years of watching nature documentaries, predators like the Black Panther were extremely territorial.

Any threat that entered their domain would be ruthlessly expelled by its owner.

This was especially true for members of their own species; for a trespasser, it was a fight to the death, with no quarter given.

Unless…
