A furry mane brushed against Yu Jiu’s neck, sending a numb, itchy sensation that made him pull his neck back in reflex.
It was a very small movement, but the monster seemed to sense something. Its rough hand, broader than a normal person’s, pressed down on the back of his neck.
The monster’s grip wasn’t very strong, far less than its usual force. With just a gentle press, it held Yu Jiu in place as if clamping him down, making it impossible for him to move a single inch.
The gesture held an unspoken, intrinsic desire for control.
The female it had found smelled sweet all over. That rich, alluring sweetness drew it closer to the soft-skinned, fair female.
A wave of sweet fragrance continued to drift from the crook of his neck. The collar of the female in its arms was pushed wide open by its snout, exposing a beautifully contoured collarbone and a small portion of his shoulders, flushed pink and radiating scent.
Just like that night, no matter how much it smelled him, it could never get enough.
Every part of him was gorgeous, and every single inch suited its desires completely. Those green eyes were always brimming with shimmering autumn water, gazing at it with timid, coquettish charm.
At night, his skin glowed so brightly it seemed to shine. The moment that group of outsiders entered the mountain, it had noticed its female immediately. His skin was soft too; it had only touched him lightly, yet the soft flesh beneath its fingertips had immediately sunken inward.
Yu Jiu couldn’t move at all, half-slumping limply in the monster’s arms as he endured the monster rubbing against his neck like a little puppy.
His slender arms made a feeble effort to push the monster away, his hands resting against the monster’s exposed muscles—hard and unyielding like a foul piece of stone.
Suddenly, his silent resistance seemed to take effect. The monster lifted its head from the crook of his neck, which was now flushed bright red.
Half a mask covered its face, perfectly concealing its brows and eyes while leaving only a cold, hard, cleanly sculpted jawline exposed.
Now it remained completely motionless. Through the mask, Yu Jiu could feel the monster’s gaze locked firmly onto him.
Its prominent Adam’s apple bobbed up and down, much more noticeably than a normal person’s. Was it thirsty? While Yu Jiu wondered, the monster lowered its head, and an unnamable scent of grass and trees enveloped his entire body.
Immediately following that came a rapid flurry of dense, falling kisses.
“Want to kiss, kiss little Jiu.”
Yu Jiu’s lips were captured by the monster, sucked upon rhythmically. He was forced to tilt his head back, bearing the monster’s aggressive kiss.
Damp, warm breath filled the cramped space. Sweat beaded on Yu Jiu’s forehead, and his entire body was slick with a damp, dewy heat.
He instinctively pressed his lips together to fight against the monster’s kiss, his lips blooming with a wet, bruised redness like a crushed berry, rubbed to a ripened pulp.
The forceful kiss easily breached his fragile defenses. His tightly sealed teeth were pried apart, and the warm kiss swept deep into his mouth.
Yu Jiu’s heart raced wildly. He felt as though he were being steamed alive, his mind in a complete fog as he could only passively accept the monster’s kisses without any awareness.
His palm rested weakly between them, his wrist hanging limp, and his neck arched upward into a slender, graceful curve.
The back of his neck was gathered within the monster’s palm, its rough fingertips brushing against his delicate skin and leaving a trail of red marks behind.
Dense, wet smacking sounds echoed. Yu Jiu’s body had already melted into a puddle of water, leaning sideways against the monster’s arm. He was burning up, able to hear the frantic pounding of his own heart echoing within his chest cavity.
The little female’s mouth was exceptionally sweet as well. The monster didn’t know how to kiss, clumsily tasting the female’s soft, wet, crimson tongue. Rich, sweet fragrance spilled from between their lips, and as teeth and tongues crossed over each other, the monster chased the resistant, petite female in its arms like a creature out of control.
Finally, Yu Jiu felt the monster’s grip loosen. Their lips and tongues parted, leaving his plump, red lips looking like a bruised, overripe peach—swollen and bursting with juice at the slightest poke.
There was a glistening wet sheen on his lips, but the monster remained unsatisfied, leaning forward to lick away the remaining moisture on Yu Jiu’s mouth.
Tossed about until he had no strength left, Yu Jiu kept his lips parted slightly, vaguely revealing the tip of a wet, crimson tongue. The exhaled fragrance provoked the monster into rubbing against him all over again.
The outer corners of his eyes were stained red, his cheeks flushed, and the tips of his damp hair clung to his face and neck. With his chest rising and falling as he panted lightly, his mouth was left numb from kissing, and the rest of his body felt thoroughly uncomfortable.
Looking utterly aggrieved with a mist of tears welling in his eyes, he thought: In this instance, why are even the monsters he encounters so bizarre? They don’t say a word, and the moment they see him, they start kissing his mouth.
The monster raised its head, its eyes reflecting the unshed tears trembling in Yu Jiu’s eyes. The pupils beneath the mask dilated abruptly, and it looked somewhat at a loss, not knowing how it had upset its little female.
Brilliant, emerald-green eyes brimmed with tears, and the upturned tip of his nose was flushed pink, looking as though he would break into tears at any second.
“Don’t cry, little Jiu, don’t cry.”
The monster couldn’t even speak clearly. Its fingers reached out as if wanting to wipe away the tears pooling at Yu Jiu’s eyes, but remembering its sharp, pointed nails, it pulled its hand back in a panic. Like a scolded big dog wagging its tail pitifully, it squatted before Yu Jiu.
It kept wanting to draw closer, yet held back out of fear of upsetting him or hurting him, pacing anxiously in place.
“Actually, I’m not really angry either.”
Yu Jiu whispered to 091, “I just feel uncomfortable from being kissed like that by it.”
091 had watched the entire scene unfold amidst a blur of censorship mosaics. That’s just great. All the mental health modes I applied for on behalf of the baby are being fully utilized on it, aren’t they?
If its rank were higher and it possessed a physical form to intervene in the material world, 091 looked at its host’s swollen, red lips and thought: Heh, my fists are clenched. It would definitely punch those perverts who took advantage of its baby a couple of times.
“You didn’t do anything wrong, baby. It kissed you randomly; it’s in the wrong.”
Yu Jiu managed to check his tears. He hadn’t meant to cry either, but he inexplicably felt a wave of grievance.
His entire body was buried deep within the layers of bedding the monster had laid out, leaving only a small, snowy-white face that still retained the blush of spring.
With the warm bedding and the monster’s big-dog-like demeanor, Yu Jiu made a very quiet declaration in his heart: he would forgive the monster… He was very easy to appease.
Noticing that Yu Jiu’s mood had returned to normal, the monster had already reflected on its own behavior, concluding that its female probably disliked being kissed.
It felt a trace of regret for its own impulsiveness, but the moment it saw the fragrant, soft little female, its mind had thrown all caution to the wind, fixating entirely on kissing those red lips.
Yu Jiu watched as the monster rummaged around the cramped room; it seemed to have hidden quite a few things inside.
However, many of the items were newly added. The mattress and bedding beneath him, along with the small, exquisite decorations around the room, were all brand new.
While he was dazed, the monster cupped several fresh, bright red fruits in its hands, offering them to Yu Jiu like a treasure presentation.
In his original world during the doomsday, Yu Jiu had rarely seen fresh fruit; nutritional supplements were his primary source of energy.
“Little Jiu, eat, eat the fruit.”
Yu Jiu’s eyes lit up, visibly much more spirited. He picked up a fruit, wanting to say thank you before realizing he couldn’t speak, so he just gave the monster a slight nod.
Seeing Yu Jiu react to it, the monster wagged its long dragon tail from side to side, occasionally slapping the ground. I need to be more restrained; I mustn’t scare my female again.
“Baby, you are really easy to coax.”
A few small fruits were enough to coax its baby, making 091 even more determined to ensure its host lived a good life.
Suddenly praised by the system, Yu Jiu’s voice turned perky. “Of course, I’m very obedient.”
Then, thinking of the side quest he had set aside, his tone instantly dropped in disappointment. “091, my quest progress isn’t going to be delayed, right?”
“It’s fine, baby. This side quest has no time limit. Don’t worry, we’ll finish it.”
The fruit was crisp, sweet, and bursting with juice. After eating a few, Yu Jiu began to feel drowsy.
Chatting with 091, his head nodded downward bit by bit. He lifted it a few times only for it to drop again. When drowsiness threatened to overwhelm him, he reminded himself that he was still in the middle of a task—how could he just fall asleep?
“Baby, get some sleep for a bit. I’ll wake you up.”
With 091’s permission, Yu Jiu let his guard down and drifted off to sleep. In a hazy, muddled state of consciousness, he felt as though he saw the monster pause before him, gaze down at him deeply for a moment, and then turn and leave.
Yu Jiu’s sleep this time was far from peaceful; his mind kept dwelling on opening the quest, and his dreams were bizarre and overwhelmingly noisy.
He vaguely heard someone chuckle softly by his ear, a voice that sounded quite familiar.
Opening his eyes in a daze, his vision gradually focused and cleared. Someone was indeed half-squatting right beside him.
A cane concealing hidden radiance rested beside the man’s hand, paired with that frivolous, smiling handsome face. Only his posture looked somewhat disheveled; his normally neat collar was slightly askew, and his hair and clothes were somewhat ruffled.
It was the magician.
Wait, why was Gu Xun here? Had the monster captured him too?
Just waking up, Yu Jiu’s mind was still groggy. Before he could react, his round, blunt cat-like eyes widened slightly, staring in utter astonishment at the magician who had suddenly appeared before him.
Gu Xun watched the dazed Yu Jiu, his smile deepening.
“Didn’t expect it to be me?”
He wouldn’t say out loud that after the monster took Yu Jiu away, he had resorted to using card props to trace the clues, setting aside the quest issued by the game.
The process had its twists and turns, but at least he had found the person.
Straightening his crooked collar, he reached out with gentlemanly posture to pull Yu Jiu up. As he caught sight of that alluring, drop-dead gorgeous face, he suddenly paused.
Yu Jiu’s lips were swollen. His plump lips were wet and crimson, looking like the lingering traces left behind by someone aggressively working that spot over and sucking on it repeatedly.
His collar was also open wide, exposing a large expanse of delicate skin that glowed white like jade and snow. Yet at the crook of his neck were several red marks, as though something had brushed against that area and left behind a trail.
Gu Xun couldn’t see any further down. Though he prided himself on watching the fun without getting involved in uninteresting amusements, he still found himself harboring malicious guesses at that moment.
Beneath his line of sight, was that chest area also sucked red?
Swollen and flushed, just as plump and full as his lips.
A gloved finger pressed against Yu Jiu’s lips. Only then did he notice that the depths of the magician’s eyes held a pool of extremely dark purple—something entirely unnoticeable unless one leaned in close.
Fabric grazed against his swollen lips, and Gu Xun’s eyes held an obscure, unfathomable depth that Yu Jiu couldn’t quite comprehend.
Just fine a moment ago, why was he starting to touch his mouth now?
Was he going to kiss him?
Thinking of the terrible feeling of being controlled and the dizzying, feverish heat of that breath, Yu Jiu’s body instinctively resisted such an uncomfortable act.
He tilted his head slightly, his lips escaping Gu Xun’s touch.
Yet before even a few seconds had passed, another gloved finger pinched his chin with a firmness he had never experienced before.
It was that same hand, brushing across Yu Jiu’s lips with a numb, itchy friction.
A smile still lingered on Gu Xun’s face, yet that smile was more unfathomable than before.
“Little Jiu, how did this get made?”
