#16- Last-Minute Mayhem!
It feels like time moves like a bolt of lightning, before i knew it, the last day of the month arrived.
People were scrambling to reach Level 20, so far, only a few, including myself and Sasha.
Over the past weeks Sasha and i got to know each other more, even as a praying mantis she had beautiful eyes, not to mention an amazing body for an insect, i couldn't take my eyes off of her.
That was when we decided to take our relationship to the next level.
We sat on the roofrop of our house and watched as people scrambled to reach Level 20, we learned that Millie managed to reach that level thanks to Zak.
"Why do i have the feeling this will only get worse?" Sasha spoke.
"Whatever happens, we'll face it together..." i said, holding her hand.
As everyone returned from the forrest, i saw that only 2 more managed to reach Level 20.
Then the System spoke..
Level 2 complete!
Players at Level 20: 25
Players below Level 20: 15
WARNING! All players bellow Level 20 will be eliminated!
Within minutes, every player below level 20 instantly burst into flames!
Screaming filled the air, all we could do was watch as we were reminded that this was a game of survival, and survival wasn't always fair.
After the carnage, the System spoke again..
Welcome to Level 3!
Soon, a Massive spire rose from the earth.
"Those with Player Cores can enter the Evolution Spire to undergo Evolution, Leveling up will be suspended until Evolution is complete."
Those who do not evolve within 1 month will be eliminated!
With that, we got our marching orders, both me and Sasha have Player Cores.
"Why do i have the feeling that things are going to get real ugly?" i asked.
"All we can do is hope...." Sasha replied...
