The very next morning, Sasha and i were in the forrest, training to get used to our new bodies.
With stronger wings, we could now fly a lot higher and farther than we used to, and our attacks dealt far more damage, the only downside is that enemies were way too weak now, so we didng get as much EXP, even my Insect Master skill could only do so much.
By noon, both me and Sasha reached Level 21.

We decided to take a break and went to the river to have lunch.
..Unaware that things were getting ugly back in town.
Everyone in town were looking at another, many wanted to to evolve, but they knew that the only way to get a Player Core is to kill a player, Ashley was killed because she was a raging bitch, and Sasha had that mystery core, but no one had the guts to kill one another.
So for the next few days, things were quiet as the grave, no one made a move
Sasha and i were at the central fountain, enjoying some boar meat on a stick with some rice, Millie soon joined us.
She got lucky, she found a Player Core from a player who starved to death, she evolved into a Black Ice Husky.
As the three of us ate, we watched as one player got wise, he followed one of Victor's guild members, the player was a Fox hybrid, he held a rock in his hand, and as soon the victim's guard was down, the Fox struck him with the rock.
He continued to bash him with said rock until the victim no longer moved.
When the Player Core spawned, The Fox hybrid smiled as he hugged it like it was a priceless treasure.
He then turned to us, "What the hell are you looking at, Show's over!" he said as made his way to the spire.
With each passing day, the chaos increased, players were getting desperete, resorting to even killing their friends.
Later that night at our home, Sasha and i were tucked into bed, but even from our cozy bed, we could hear screaming and painc.
I shuddered, Sasha held me tight, her warmth calming my body.
"Just close your eyes, it will all be over in the morning..." Sasha cooed.
I soon closed my eyes and drifted off to sleep, little did i know that this was only the begining...
