I turned arround to find Ashley, in her Falcon form, laughing at me.
"Oh this is too perfect, a Wasp is a perfect body for you, poisonous sure, but you're basicly a glass cannon with that weak-ass defense stat!" Ashley said as she showed me her stats.

Everyone was silent, prompting the voice to speak again..
"The Newbie Protection period will last 2 weeks, during that time, only weak monsters will spawn and treasure chests will appear more frequently, use this time to level up and grow stronger, when the period ends, stronger monsters will spawn, but greater rewards will appear."
"WARNING: at least 5 or more people in your village must reach Level 10 by the end of the Newbie Protection period, those who have not reached Level 10 by the period's end will be executed."
When the message ended, everyone gulped....
Later that night, Millie and i were in our cabin, basicly each cabin can support two people, we were both looking at our screens
I looked at my status screen, there were 4 sections, Inventory, Status, Store, and Quest.
In the Quest section, there were currently two quests, one Main Quest, and one side quest, i looke at the main quest.
Event Quest:
Reach Level 10 within one week
Side Quest:
Collect 150 Beast Coins 0/100
I then checked the inventory and found the newbie welcome package, inside was 3 1-liter bottles of water, 2 loaves of sweet bread, 2 slabs of raw meat, and a Talent Card.
I looked at the Talent Card.

Awakens a unique talent, what kind of talent will depend on the animal you came in contact with.
Millie and i looked at our talent cards, "Well, here goes..." she said.
We both activated our cards at the same time!

I saw Millie's talent, hers was a B-rank talent called Ice Armor, which boost her DEF in extremely cold terrain.
I looked at my talent, if i use it right, i could reach Level 10 in mere days!
"Tomorrow is going to be a very good day...." i said, and with that, we went to sleep.
