While Zhou Shijing was carrying out the punishment.

Wen Xuxue grabbed his hand, pleading brokenly, “Don’t… don’t do it like before…”

Zhou Shijing’s face showed no expression, his voice laced with coldness. “Why was it okay before, but not now?”Full novel: Addicted to Charm, Hard to Quit — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Wen Xuxue had already answered this question. She didn’t understand why he was asking again, but she still forced herself to say, “I have… now…”

Before she could finish her sentence, in the dead silence, a sudden, sharp zipper sound abruptly rang out.

Zhou Shijing did not comply with her wishes.

The more unwilling she was, the more ruthless he became.

Until she began sobbing on the sofa.

He watched coldly, unmoved. When she had cried enough, he walked over and repeated the process.

Wen Xuxue could only focus on shedding tears.

Sob sob sob sob sob sob sob sob sob sob sob sob sob sob sob sob sob sob sob sob.

This bastard.

He was completely two different people in public and in private.

Over the past few days, she had been moved countless times by how he defended her in front of her father. But at this moment, Wen Xuxue’s heart turned cold toward him again.

She hated him, she hated him, she hated him!

Even after it was over, he remained impeccably dressed, with only a few creases added to his shirt.

While the girl on the sofa was broken, yet beautiful.

Zhou Shijing bent down, leaning his face close, and gently wiped away her tears.

Wen Xuxue slapped his hand away, her voice hoarse and weak. “Get lost.”

Zhou Shijing acted as if he hadn’t heard, pulling out a few more tissues and quietly wiping her face.

His slender fingers accidentally brushed against her lips. Wen Xuxue immediately opened her mouth and bit his fingertip.

Her tear-filled eyes looked at him with grievance and anger, her voice trembling. “You bully me, you bully me like this. I’m going to tell my dad, tell my… boyfriend.”

“Hmm.” Zhou Shijing was utterly calm. He gently pinched her chin, making her release her bite, and pulled his finger out.

“Go tell them how Older Brother bullied you.”

He straightened up, looking down at her with a detached, merciless gaze from his superior position.

So Wen Xuxue started crying again.

She felt that all the tears of her lifetime would be shed tonight.

Her choice to go abroad three years ago was indeed the rightest decision.

She just never expected that, upon returning, she would still be entangled with him.

“Alright.” Zhou Shijing finally softened. He didn’t reach for tissues again but bent down once more, pulling her into his embrace and using his thumb to wipe away her tears. “Xiao Xue, don’t cry anymore. It’s Older Brother’s fault. Older Brother apologizes to you.”

Wen Xuxue cried until she was gasping for breath. “I hate you, get away from me…”

Zhou Shijing carried her into the bathroom, meticulously bathing her, and said, “That set of high jewelry worth fifty million that Xiao Xue really likes, Older Brother will buy it tomorrow and give it to you, okay?”

“No.” Wen Xuxue remained unmoved. “I’m going to throw everything you give me into the trash.”

Zhou Shijing seemed not to hear her words and continued, “What about a watch? Patek Philippe, okay?”

Wen Xuxue kept slapping his hands away, not letting him touch her, while saying, “No, no, no. Get lost, I don’t want to see you again.”

The man seemed to let out a low sigh.

His deep, husky voice was particularly captivating in the darkness, yet it was too faint, completely drowned out by the pattering sound of the water.

Zhou Shijing suddenly stood up.

Wen Xuxue’s face changed, and her body trembled uncontrollably.

The man’s hands were still damp with water droplets. He unhurriedly took out a handkerchief, wiped them clean, and casually tossed it to the floor.

Suddenly, he began unbuckling his belt.

The sound of metal clasps colliding was particularly jarring. Wen Xuxue bit her lip and looked up at him.

The flush of crimson at the corners of her eyes only made her seem more aggrieved.

She wanted to say something but stubbornly remained silent.

Forget it, forget it, forget it.

It had happened so many times already.

One more time wouldn’t matter.

She absolutely would not beg him again!

Wen Xuxue stubbornly lowered her head. Before long, a cold hand gripped her chin, forcing her to look up. When she resisted, Zhou Shijing simply leaned down and pressed his lips heavily against hers.

The kiss did not last long.

A brief, fleeting touch.

Then, Wen Xuxue felt something cold being placed in her hand.

She looked down in surprise.

It was the belt Zhou Shijing had just unbuckled.

Zhou Shijing’s gaze first fell briefly on the tense line of the girl’s shoulders, then slowly rose, his eyes calm yet carrying an invisible weight that pressed down on Wen Xuxue’s face.

“If you’re angry, Older Brother will let you hit back.”

His voice was equally calm, cutting clearly through the heavy night.

Wen Xuxue froze, her eyes filled with confusion as she looked at him. “You’re really willing to let me hit you back?”

Zhou Shijing: “Mm.”

At this moment, Wen Xuxue was sitting in the bathtub, clear water flowing over her snow-white body. Since he had started bathing her earlier, the man had been kneeling on one knee.

And now… he still was.

Wen Xuxue stood up in a daze.

Now, she was the one looking down from above.

But this was a man who had long held a position of power. Even temporarily placed in a lower position, his presence remained formidable. When he slightly raised his gaze, the pressure in his eyes bore down on her with an invisible authority.

Cold, intimidating.

Wen Xuxue’s pale fingertips pressed tightly against the belt, the blue-green veins on the back of her hand faintly visible.

Suddenly, she felt her breath quicken, but she still gripped the belt tightly, swung it, and struck the man once.
