Lucas Walker slightly lifted the corner of his mouth, his gaze shifting from her finger pointed at his nose to her partially covered chest, “When did I break my promise?”
Noticing his gaze, Ivana Bennett quickly withdrew her hand and pulled up the slipping blanket to cover herself, her eyes shooting daggers at him.
“You said that as long as I let you dress my wound, you would free me from the bed!”
“Correct!” Lucas Walker casually lifted the blanket, laid down next to Ivana Bennett, looking at her with a provocative grin, “I have indeed freed you from the bed.”
He said he would free her from the bed, not that he would completely free her.
Now, he hadn’t broken his promise.
Little missy, thinking he wouldn’t see through her trick.
