Outside of the generals office was an elevator to the left that Ace directed his group onto.

Once in the elevator Ace inserted a key into the emergency lock for firefighters and turned it to the left which caused the elevator to move laterally to the right before a loud clicking noise as it began descending.

The elevator deacended for about 45 seconds before coming to a halt.Full novel: Aevum: The Birth Of Everything — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

“Get ready for an experience, this is probably the only place on this base that still intrigues me it was actually designed by one of the kings using their ability.

Some of those guys are kind of impressive too I guess.” Ace said as the elevator descended as his eyes grew brighter with each second.

As the elevator doors began to open they could see a pristine marble floor in front of them in a room about the size of a football field with what looked like some form of glass dividers blurring the people on the other side.

“Ace it’s been a while since I’ve seen you down here, the commander is actually expecting you and your group down in section 1.” A female attendant behind a small desk by the elevator spoke as she pointed down the large corridor.

“Thanks, and it has been a while we need to go get a drink sometime.

I’m kind of in a hurry right now forgive me, send me a message!” Ace said quickly as he continued walking away after hearing what section they were using and waving for the group to follow.

As they walked through the massive room they could see it was actually larger than they had initially suspected.

The hallway space between the dividers was about the size of a football field while each section itself was the size of a tennis or basketball court.

In the sections a few people could be seen in seated meditation while others sparred at a pace that an average human could only fear.

Jack, Anne, Ethan, Jason, Amanda, and Lucile could only look on in amazement.

There were no signs of extremely advanced technology anywhere in this area, yet ace’s excitement only seemed to grow while each section they walked past the people inside only seemed to doing progressively more impressive activities.

As they walked past section 2 they could see Knight Prio with a ghostly aura around him as he disappeared reappearing at different places in the room almost instantly.

“Congrats on your advancement prio!

I’m glad you didn’t die out there man.” Ace shouted into his room as they passed by approaching section one.

“Hurry up and get over here Ace, I don’t have all day to fool around with you today.” A feminine voice echoed from section one.

“Aww I was hoping we had some time to play with the new recruits.” Ace said as he and his group stepped into section one.

“That’s about all we have time for…” the female commander said as she watched Ace and his group turn the corner entering section one of the area.

“This is Commander or Left Hand Valia she designed this entire facility, these are the new recruits Ethan, Jason, Anne, Jack, Amanda, and Lucia.” Ace introduced everyone as they entered.

She was a tall woman standing about 1.7 meters with a physique that would make any woman sick with jealousy.

Her jet black hair was tied neatly in a bun that rested at the base of her skull while her deep blue eyes reflected vast oceans.

Seeing all of the recruits the commanders eyes lit up with excitement.

“Here, here each one of you place these rings on your left middle finger!” She said as she handed each one of them a small ring that didn’t seem like it was the correct size.

The rings were made of a material they had never felt or seen it felt soft almost fluid like while also having a strong quality like metal.

As they brought the ring closer to their left middle finger like magic the ring expanded and leaped to their finger before tightening snuggly around their fingers.

“I don’t know how much this meat head told you guys about my lab but it is one of the few functioning quantum computing labs on the planet.

The rings you guys just put on will resonate with your heart center amplifying your latent and dormant senses, while also analyzing the energy composition of your body from a multidimensional perspective.” Commander Valia said as she began typing and swiping through a holographic screen.

“Multidimensional?

How is something like that even possible?” Jack couldn’t help but ask while the other imagination began to run wild with the possible different answers.

“That is slightly difficult to answer but think about it like this we understand dimensions as directions but can only consciously comprehend 3 of those dimensions but if we were able to analyze a 4th dimension we would naturally be able to see through walls of the third dimension, this basically sees through the walls of atoms, and the energy that makes you.

The commander said while typing at a speed that would impress just about anyone.

Hearing this answer a few members of the group felt as though they had been enlightened about the nature of reality from that statement alone as their mind began to imagine how dimensions beyond the third actually work.

“You guys can take a seat over there for a bit the analysis will take about an hour once it is finished we can move forward to the integration and amplification steps.” The commander spoke as she swiped her screen a few times sending a secondary holographic screen to float in front of everyone present in the room.

“You guys can see the progress there, the hologram will also give you prompts on actions to take to make sure the analysis is as accurate as possible.

There will also be information on the screen if you care to read it most people can’t understand what it’s explaining so I usually don’t say anything but I hear your group was special enough to be paired with Ace so I hope to be pleasantly surprised” She said before sitting down herself as she continued typing on the screen.

Time quickly passed as the prompts came by like a guided meditation directing them to breathe in specific ways, while bring their attention to the energy and sensations in their body as well as creating tension and relaxing different muscles periodically.

Each one in the group could feel their own subtle energy moving about their body more profoundly with these guided exercises as they all took mental notes of the process planning to incorporate portions of it to their own practice.

After about 40 minutes of the guided meditation the screens began printing scale diagrams of each person layer by layer from their skeleton to their organs and veins to each and every nerve ending alongside a massive amount of information.

After reading through the first page Ethan began to speak aloud unaware of his own actions, “so this machine analyzes our 3d existence as a projection from 4d space and uses our connection with our own body to build an almost dimensionally infinite model of ourselves to determine what we should be capable of in this 3d space.” He mused quietly, however the silence in the room allowed everyone to hear what he said.

“That is pretty accurate but you should keep reading, it is a bit more complex than that.” Commander Valia said with a smile on her face not many people could even understand the rudimentary bases that her computer screened the physical world from so for a teenager to grasp this was phenomenal in her eyes.

“More complex than that?” Amanda said aloud eyes wide looking at the screen hovering in front of her.

“I don’t even understand how holographic screens are in front of us with nothing in sight.

“That one is easy, the glass walls and the ceiling have microscopic sapphire crystals embedded with extremely small quantum processors that allow them to reorganize themselves instantaneously while a focused light is shot through them creating the interact-able holographic screen.” The commander said as if she was explaining simple addition to a toddler.

Hearing this Amanda couldn’t think of any questions to help her better understand what any of it meant so she resolved to just reading through the documents on screen and maybe something making sense eventually.

“Why hasn’t technology like this reached the general public or even the other military branches?

I’ve heard some pretty deep military secrets but this existing now…

here…” Lucile said hearing the others words realizing just how advanced the technology development teams had to be.

Compared to tech like this the technological world she was familiar with was still in the dark ages.

“Honestly, technology like this stands to benefit the world greatly, I can even use my babies here to force awakenings in normies, can you understand what kind of problems this could cause if things became public for everyday use with civilians?

And that’s only scratching the surface of everything this machine is capable of I think the world was a much safer place with things like this being in the hands of few.” The commander responded looking at Lucile who looked more shocked than amazed.

A few moments after the commanders words jacks ring lit up indicating his analysis had been completed.

“Finally that took so long!

Come over here Jack now we get to get started.” Ace said with a fiendish grin on his face.

“Perfect, Ace you need to calm down I don’t want to have to set her to repair protocol again.

I will be doing the demonstration with this group” The commander said putting an ice underneath ace’s fire.

“Hopefully I at least get a show then.” Ace said grumpily as he walked to the side of the room where the rest of his team was.

“Now that the analysis is complete, we will undergo the integration and amplification phases, these phases work best while doing rigorous physical activity so each of you will have an opportunity to spar with me.

While sparring the ring will send electrical signals through your heart center that will guide your unconscious breathing pattern and subtle energy modulation throughout your body.

My best advice is let loose, honestly try your best to kill me if you can.” The commander said giving the group an unexpected turn of words.

“Are you sure?

I haven’t fought in a…” Jack began hesitant but before he could finish a hard fist was slammed into his face causing the others to wince from the resounding clack as Jack was launched off his feet a couple of inches into the air before quickly hitting the ground.

Before he could even recover he felt another kick to his rib cage sending his mind into a true fight or flight state as the metallic taste of iron began to well in his mouth.

He rolled with the momentum of the kick only to look up and see the commander in front of him again with her fist raining down aiming to hit his face again.

This time he lifted his arm to block only to be turned around by the force before being kicked in the butt causing him to fall back to the ground.

“You might want to fight back Jack, she may look frail but she’s no ordinary monster.” Ace said from the sidelines.

As Jack quickly scrambled to his feet taking a fighting position thinking his life might actually be at stake here.

“She doesn’t need to be this violent does she?” Anne said as she stood up her heart racing ready to fight and destroy this woman on her husbands behalf at any moment.
