“You have a lot of nerve to bring that up. You have a poker face that is not sincere at all. Who knows who those snacks were actually bought for? Why on earth should I forgive you?” After Jiang Yu finished speaking, he spat at him.
Chen Zhiyan used his warm fingertips to brush the saliva off his face. His Adam’s apple bobbed as he maintained a restrained expression, trying to reason with him. “My apology is a matter of my attitude. Whether you forgive me or not is your own business. The alarm from last night cancels that matter out. As for the snacks, it was not strictly necessary for me to buy them for you.”
Jiang Yu gave a cold laugh. “When did I say you had to buy me snacks? Even if I asked Li Heng to buy them, I would never ask you. I will not spend a single cent of yours. Do not be so damn conceited!”
He wrenched his wrist. “Let me go.”
“Can you stop being so irritating? Can we not speak properly?”
“Why should I speak properly to you? Ugh!” Jiang Yu’s eyes widened. He could not help but press his lower back against the wall, trying to hide. After a groan, he began cursed Chen Zhiyan, calling him a bastard, an idiot, and an animal.
The more vigorously he cursed, the more Chen Zhiyan, who had initially felt he was being too impulsive, moved his hand.
“Get, get away!” A vivid flush stained the corners of Jiang Yu’s eyes as he bit his lip hard. The bubbles on his head had long since burst, leaving only water stains. Strands of hair clung to his brow. His eyes were filled with helpless confusion and a deep layer of anger. Filthy words poured out of his mouth, which provoked Chen Zhiyan significantly. Chen Zhiyan calmly told Jiang Yu to keep cursing, but Jiang Yu was slumped against his chest, unable to stand straight, and the front of Chen Zhiyan’s shirt was now wet.
Chen Zhiyan glanced at the showerhead; it was not on. This meant Jiang Yu was crying. Unconsciously, Chen Zhiyan’s fingers curled slightly. Jiang Yu groaned and tilted his head back, his throat tight. He opened his mouth and bit Chen Zhiyan without holding back his strength, leaving two deep rows of teeth marks. Sobbing, he said, “You are bullying me. It is so disgusting.”
This was not the first time he had called it disgusting. Last time, in the small woods, he had even vomited.
It was like a psychological shadow.
Chen Zhiyan placed his arm around Jiang Yu’s lower back to help him stand straight. He turned on the showerhead to wash his hands and then tried to wash Jiang Yu’s face. The moment he started, he was met with a glare. After thinking for two seconds, he switched hands to continue washing him.
“Stop crying.”
“You are bullying me.”
“Are you sure this is bullying? You finished twice.”
“Chen Zhiyan!” Jiang Yu shouted in shame and anger. “Do not be so damn excessive!”
Chen Zhiyan replied with a quiet “Okay.” He used some strength to carry Jiang Yu over to the showerhead, setting him down and adjusting the water temperature.
The stream of water hit Jiang Yu’s back, causing him to instinctively take two steps forward.
Chen Zhiyan had a look that seemed to say, “Fine, keep throwing yourself into my arms then.” This caused the flush behind Jiang Yu’s ears to spread. He gritted his teeth and snapped, “Who gave you permission to take off my clothes!”
“They were wet.”
“So you just take them off because they are wet? Why the hell did you not take yours off!”
Two seconds after his voice trailed off, Chen Zhiyan said, “You were clinging to me so reluctantly. How was I supposed to take them off?”
He used such a descriptive word to make himself seem innocent, blaming the reason for not undressing on Jiang Yu. He clearly understood Jiang Yu well, knowing this would shift the anger from the undressing to this current, unilateral hug.
“Let go,” Chen Zhiyan reminded him, looking down.
“I am letting go,” Jiang Yu said with a fake smile. “Letting go right now.”
As he let go, he gifted Chen Zhiyan two sharp pinches.
“Hiss.” Chen Zhiyan looked at the red marks on his waist and frowned. “Jiang Yu.”
Jiang Yu had already turned his back to Chen Zhiyan to start showering, feigning deafness. He tilted his head to rinse the dirty water and suds from his hair, reaching up to slick his hair back. Large droplets of water slid down his spine, passing over his shoulder blades. Every inch of skin the water touched was smooth, delicate, and fair. He had thin shoulders and a narrow waist.
Chen Zhiyan’s eyes narrowed slightly. He kneaded his fingertips in a small circle a few times before turning on the handheld showerhead and hanging it on the wall a few steps away from Jiang Yu.
He leaned against the tiles behind him. He did not find them cold; perhaps his body was too hot, as he quickly warmed the temperature of the tiles.
Jiang Yu, who was washing his hair, suddenly reached out to prop himself against the wall. He bit his lip and looked back, calling Chen Zhiyan shameless.
Chen Zhiyan opened his closed eyes and looked at Jiang Yu. His gaze moved up and down, and his voice was as raspy as someone who had just woken up in the morning. He said, “It is only human nature.”
“I am still in here!” Jiang Yu tried to stop him.
“Then you go out.”
“…”
There was truly no way out.
Chen Zhiyan began demonstrating his superior skills again. Jiang Yu hurriedly rinsed the foam from his hair. To keep Chen Zhiyan from discovering his secret, he tried to wash at the same time, but after a few movements, he seemed to lose all strength. His hands pressed against the wall, trembling.
“Can you manage?” Chen Zhiyan asked.
“Nonsense!”
“Mhm.”
Mhm what?
It was not until Jiang Yu’s back was pressed against Chen Zhiyan’s chest and the other man began washing him that he realized the “mhm” meant Chen Zhiyan thought he could not manage.
The double stimulation made Jiang Yu’s scalp tingle.
“Damn it! Go to the other bathroom.”
“Did you not forbid me from going there earlier?”
“Now I am letting, letting you go. Let go of me!”
“Are you sure you want me to let go?” Chen Zhiyan said. “Your legs are weak.”
His legs were weak, but how far along were they?
“Ugh, it feels so strange!”
“What is strange about it?”
9:30 PM
Jiang Yu was curled up under the blankets.
Chen Zhiyan came over with a glass, half-kneeling by Jiang Yu’s bed. “Drink some water.”
“Get lost.”
“Are you sure you will not drink? You made noise for so long; your throat will hurt tomorrow.”
“Get far away from me.”
Chen Zhiyan peeled back a gap in the quilt and tucked a straw inside. “Take a few sips. Consider it me begging you, alright?”
Of course, it was alright.
As long as he could make Chen Zhiyan act submissively toward him, anything was fine.
Jiang Yu gulped down the entire glass of water. Chen Zhiyan pulled the straw out, looked at the place where it had been bitten flat, and said, “Are you a child?”
“I am your ancestor! If you ever dare touch me again, I will chop you up!”
Hearing Jiang Yu’s voice, which was trembling and unsteady despite his attempt to sound tough, Chen Zhiyan chuckled softly. “Your hair washing technique is so poor. I taught you three times today in total. Why are you so fierce instead of being grateful?”
