“Brother Yuntao, today is our wedding. Wake up, don’t be late.” Ye Qianqian was startled by her own voice, which came out broken and raspy.

Then she remembered—her throat was raspy from all the screaming!

As she was reminiscing, a cold, bone-chilling voice sounded in her ear. “Open your dog eyes and see who I am.”

That voice was wrong!

Ye Qianqian followed the sound. Dim light flickered across the man’s face, unable to hide his naturally pale complexion.

In the shadows, his features appeared even more profound and chiseled. His thin lips were pressed into a tight line, and his eyes, cold as a frozen pond, were fixed on her.

When their eyes met, Ye Qianqian’s pupils dilated in shock, and a sudden wave of coldness surged through her heart.

Dear God!

Why was the Living Yama here?

Before she closed her eyes last night, she was with her fiancé!

How could she wake up to find Third Master Lu, a man even more terrifying than the King of Hell??

I’m cooked. Not only am I no longer “clean” and thus unworthy of Brother Yuntao, but I’ve also provoked the Living Yama.

I’ve hit a brick wall. How do I handle this?

It was said that Third Master Lu was ruthless and even hit women. Any woman who used an excuse to get close to him ended up with either a broken arm or a broken leg.

He was the golden bachelor at the top of the pyramid, yet no woman dared to take a single step toward him.

So, how did she manage to force herself on him?

Though the later parts of the night left a deep impression, she truly had no memory of how it started!

Whatever the reason, she knew one thing: her life was in grave danger!

“Not going to get out? Do you want me to send you to see the King of Hell?” the man’s icy voice rang out again.

Meeting the “I’m going to kill you” gaze of the Living Yama, Ye Qianqian shuddered and said obsequiously, “I’m leaving right now, getting out this instant.”

Internally, however, she was frantic with complaints: The Yama is right here next to me, why would you need to send me anywhere!

She scrambled to get off the bed to escape, but her legs were so weak that she nearly fell flat on her face. Fortunately, the man caught her.

“Stupid. You know you can’t stand steadily, yet you still want to run?” His voice was freezing and devoid of emotion, and the way he looked at her was like he was looking at a pile of filth.

Ye Qianqian was pulled back onto the bed. She glared at him fiercely and muttered under her breath, “You were the one who told me to get out. Besides, I have to hurry and be a bride.”

“You slept with me and now you want to run? Who gave you the courage?” Lu Jingchen was laughed from anger. His handsome face was filled with coldness, his voice several degrees colder than a blizzard.

“I slept with you, so if I don’t run, should I wait for you to kill me? You’re the famous Third Master Lu, the GOAT in the hearts of every woman in Rong City,” Ye Qianqian blurted out in a panic.

“…” Lu Jingchen didn’t speak. He stared coldly at Ye Qianqian, his eyes as deep as an ancient well, dangerous and unpredictable.

Ye Qianqian gave an awkward smile and looked around for her clothes, only to find nothing but shredded rags on the floor.

She grabbed the man’s white shirt and threw it on, deftly buttoning it up.

There was no time for talk. Today was the big day for her wedding to Song Yuntao; she had to get there immediately.

She waved at Lu Jingchen and, enduring the soreness throughout her body, walked toward the door, only for her legs to give way. She collapsed onto the carpet.

As Ye Qianqian sat on the floor, about to beg the Living Yama to take her to the wedding venue, she heard a mocking voice. “Weren’t you running off to be a bride? Why are you lingering on the floor?”

Ye Qianqian was so angry she turned around to crawl out, but suddenly, lines of golden text floated before her eyes.

[This pretentious jerk. He clearly doesn’t want the vicious female supporting character to go to the wedding to be humiliated, yet his tongue is so sharp. He deserves to die of regret later!]

[The vicious female supporting character is going to the wedding right now just in time to see our baby heroine and the male lead exchange rings.]

[The female supporting character is so stupid. She has a golden thigh right there but won’t grab it. If this pretentious jerk hadn’t been willing himself, who could have possibly gotten into his bed?]

[The male lead really loves the heroine. By giving his fiancée to someone else, he can not only frame the famous Third Master Lu but also get rid of the supporting character.]

Ye Qianqian didn’t want to believe the authenticity of these floating lines, but she knew some of it was indeed true.

Last night, Ye Qingyan had said, “Brother Yuntao, Sister Qianqian, your wedding is tomorrow. Let’s go out for drinks to celebrate.”

Thinking about how she had to wake up early on the wedding day, Ye Qianqian wanted to refuse, but she heard Song Yuntao agree readily. “Sure, Yanyan, let’s go celebrate together.”

Watching the sweet interaction between her fiancé and her adopted sister, Ye Qianqian couldn’t get a word in and could only sit aside drinking moodily.

By the time her consciousness became blurred, she heard her adopted sister’s voice. “Brother Yuntao, are you really going to push… to Zhenting?”

She was so drunk then that she thought her fiancé was going to push Ye Qingyan onto Lu Zhenting.

Lu Zhenting was the eldest grandson of the Lu family. He was handsome, and his family background was a notch better than Song Yuntao’s.

Looking at her current situation and combining it with the meaning of the Bullet Chat, Ye Qianqian realized that Song Yuntao had sent her to the wrong bed!

She never dreamed that Song Yuntao would be so cruel to her.

The Bullet Chat called her a stupid and vicious female supporting character.

How was she vicious?

She was originally the daughter of the wealthy Ye family in Rong City, but she was swapped at birth by her father’s admirer. She had been raising pigs in the countryside until she was fifteen.

After being brought back to the Ye family, her parents didn’t send the fake daughter, Ye Qingyan, away; instead, they announced to the world that they were twin sisters.

The fake daughter was the older sister, and she was the younger. She didn’t mind any of this, because life in a wealthy family was ten thousand times better than in the countryside.

Ye Qingyan treated her well and gave her all sorts of good things, but the Ye family claimed she loved stealing her sister’s belongings.

They said she grew up in the countryside and had no class, that she was jealous of her adopted sister, and that she always liked to compete with Ye Qingyan for affection and things.

Even a clay man has a bit of temper. Since everyone said so, she decided she might as well steal things for them to see.

The only thing she wanted to “steal” was her fiancé, Song Yuntao, who was part of her marriage contract. He was not only outstanding but had also shown her kindness.

Song Yuntao was the eldest grandson of the Song family, one of the four major families in Rong City. He was also the one the Ye family daughter had been betrothed to since childhood, and he was Ye Qingyan’s childhood sweetheart.

The elders of both the Song and Ye families felt that, having grown up in the countryside, she wasn’t good enough for Song Yuntao.

She wouldn’t have been able to win him from Ye Qingyan, but perhaps it was a twist of fate—three years ago, Song Yuntao was in a car accident, and authoritative doctors concluded he would be paralyzed for life.

Grief-stricken, Ye Qingyan couldn’t accept the reality and left Song Yuntao to go abroad for graduate studies.

Ye Qianqian felt her chance had come. She took the initiative to give up her own studies abroad and volunteered to stay behind to take care of Song Yuntao.

As a graduate of a medical university, during the three years she cared for Song Yuntao, she specifically sought out a master to learn acupuncture and various forms of massage therapy.

Heaven does not betray those who try; she finally helped Song Yuntao recover completely.

Whether it was pressure from the Song family elders or the three years of constant companionship that fostered feelings, Song Yuntao actually agreed to marry her.

Just as they set the wedding date, Ye Qingyan returned to the country, and the three of them were once again entangled.

But the Bullet Chat told her that in order to have a smooth wedding with Ye Qingyan, Song Yuntao had given her—the bride-to-be—to someone else!

Had the elders of both families accepted this?

Or did they all feel she was unworthy?

Recalling this, Ye Qianqian felt her heart turn cold, and her head began to throb.

She turned back to look at Lu Jingchen and gave a pleasing smile. “My legs are weak. You take me there.”

Lu Jingchen emanated waves of coldness. Gritting his teeth, he said, “Get out! If you want to go, go yourself.”
