Qian Li’s lips curled slightly. She remained unmoved as the men surrounded her.

When they were about a meter away, she swung the plastic bottle in her hand and splashed its contents over every burly man’s head.

Planet Kroll was in the depths of winter, and the weather was bitterly cold.

The men sneezed repeatedly, and soon icicles hung from their heads, making them look like flamboyant street punks.

The people nearby wore delighted expressions.

These men had been collecting protection money from the refugees for several days. Now someone was giving them a taste of their own medicine, so naturally, everyone crowded closer to watch.

The man in charge wiped the icicles from his head. His bull-like eyes glared fiercely at Qian Li as he pulled an axe from his clothes.

“Little girl, your big brother has changed his mind. I’m not only going to have you. I’m going to sell you to Red Light Planet and make a fortune. With skin as soft as yours, I wonder how many men you can take?”

In the end, she would surely die in bed, overwhelmed by pleasure!

Qian Li lowered her eyes and chuckled. She folded her arms across her chest, then narrowed her eyes with a cheerful smile.

“Sure. Let’s make a bet. If you can touch me, I’ll give you not only myself, but all these things too.”

As she spoke, Qian Li tossed out her spatial bracelet. The gold and silver inside her bag immediately dazzled the men.

She closed the spatial folding bracelet and held it in her palm. The men’s eyes followed it, and they swallowed unconsciously.

“That’s a haul! What a haul!”

The leader reluctantly tore his gaze away and took a step forward. His face was full of lecherous greed.

“Little girl wants to play a game? Big brother will play along.”

Qian Li wagged her index finger.

“Of course. There are three rules. You have to win all my money before you can have me. I’ve shown my sincerity. Aren’t you going to put up any stakes? That wouldn’t be fair, would it?”

The man paused, then narrowed his eyes and rubbed his hands together.

They couldn’t lose either way. A little extra excitement sounded pretty good.

With that thought, the man waved his hand grandly and pulled out a handful of gold coins.

They were the protection money they had just collected.

Qian Li sighed and shook her head.

“That’s it? It’s not even enough for one round. I’ll match whatever you put up with twice as much. Your stakes are too small. You can’t compete.

Please leave.”

She reached out as if to put the bracelet back on her wrist.

Seeing this, the man gritted his teeth and removed the brand new optical brain he had stolen from a fleeing merchant.

Qian Li recognized it at once. It was the same latest model as the one owned by the boss of the café where the original owner had worked.

She happened to be short an optical brain to receive Mrs. Hans’s assets.

This was just what she needed.

Qian Li looked troubled and sighed.

“How much can one optical brain be worth?”

The man glanced at his underlings. They reluctantly turned out their pockets, and together they scraped up another hundred star coins.

Once both sides had confirmed their stakes, Qian Li stood one meter away from her opponent.

The man gave a leering grin and charged at her like a bear.

Qian Li stayed where she was and moved to the side. Her speed was slow, however, and the man easily grabbed her shoulder.

He was overjoyed. His eyes fixed on the folding bracelet as Qian Li handed him a handful of gold coins. The man tightened his grip, unwilling to let her go.

Qian Li smiled faintly.

“This spatial bracelet is bound to my information. With just one thought, I can destroy it.”

The man was skeptical, but one of his underlings leaned over and whispered, “Boss, I… I think I’ve heard of that.”

The man quickly released Qian Li’s upper arm.

He put all the gold coins he had just won into a cloth bag, using them as the stakes for the second round.

The female knight stood nearby with her arms folded, watching with a solemn gaze. She said something to the burly man beside her. He nodded and pushed his way through the crowd.

In the second round, then the third, the man’s cloth bag grew heavier and heavier, and the stakes he put up grew higher and higher.

Seeing the panic in Qian Li’s eyes, the man grinned, showing his yellow teeth. He gleefully tossed the cloth bag, now three or four times larger, to her.

“Little girl, you’re out of stakes.”

Qian Li bit her lower lip until it bled. Her slender figure looked terribly pitiful.

Yet she still stood firmly in the arena.

A few refugees wanted to step in, but their companions held them back.

They sighed. “That little girl has no chance of winning.”

The female knight frowned deeply. The man beside her leaned closer and sighed.

“The little girl is using the money to buy time, hoping some kindhearted person will come to save her. Should we step in?”

The female knight shook her head gravely.

“Let’s watch a little longer.”

The final round began. As before, the man opened with a bear hug.

A glint flashed through Qian Li’s eyes. She crouched slightly and slipped sideways, evading his charge.

The man missed and nearly fell. He froze for a moment, then hurriedly turned and reached out to grab Qian Li’s arm.

Qian Li took a couple of breaths. Just as he was about to touch her, she raised her shoulder and pulled her arm away from his grasp, extending her right foot at the same time.

The man stumbled. Qian Li kicked him in the back, sending him straight to his knees, where he got a mouthful of sand.

Her agility stunned the refugees who had been watching during their rest.

How could a girl who looked so frail and delicate really make a burly man fall flat on his face?

The refugees stared at Qian Li in disbelief.

Qian Li smiled and brushed the dust from her hands.

“Oh dear, you lost that round. Want to keep going?”

The man’s face flushed red. He threw the other cloth bag he had won earlier in front of Qian Li.

“Raise the stakes! I’m going to teach you a lesson!”

“Tsk, tsk, tsk!” Qian Li wagged her finger smugly, looking thoroughly infuriating.

“Still want to bet? Be careful you don’t lose everything you won before!”

Another face plant.

“You lost this round too.”

“Raise the stakes!”

“Oh dear! What’s so good about the ground? Why are you kneeling again?”

“Raise the stakes!”

“You fell again! You look so strong. How come you can’t stay on your feet?”

“Raise the stakes!”

“Raise the stakes!”

“Raise them again!”

After crashing into a tree and splitting his head open, the man staggered to his feet. When he felt himself, he discovered that all he had left was a pair of trousers.

Qian Li looked at his bloodshot, twisted face and smiled brightly.

“Round twelve. Uncle, I’m touched that you’re willing to bet your underwear, but I don’t want it!”

The man’s face turned red, then green, then white. He shouted at the people around him.

“What are you all staring at? Hurry up and grab this bitch…”

Qian Li whistled, her smile radiant. She pulled out her energy gun and fired directly at the man’s crotch.
