After working for a few consecutive days, Yu Keqing felt herself becoming vibrant and alive again.
At night, she didn’t have to share a bed with Lin Sheng because Xiao Bao had been having nightmares. Xiao Bao was too scared to sleep alone and insisted on having Yu Keqing accompany her. If Lin Sheng ever disagreed, Xiao Bao would go to the second floor master bedroom and knock on the door until Lin Sheng finally gave in.
There was one time when Lin Sheng had pressed her against the pillow, kissing her until she was completely breathless, when the knocking suddenly rang out. It was relentless. She watched as Lin Sheng ground her teeth, wrapped her robe tightly around herself, and went to open the door for Xiao Bao.
Lin Sheng had threatened Xiao Bao, saying that if she kept doing this, she would be sent back to live in the old house by herself. Xiao Bao seemed terrified and went back to her room, but late that night, she woke up from a severe nightmare, shaking and convulsing. It was Tuan Tuan, who was sleeping under Yu Keqing’s bed, who sensed that something was wrong and barked frantically.
Yu Keqing had been so frightened that her legs went weak. Holding Xiao Bao tightly in her arms, she refused to let go. Lin Sheng had no choice but to agree to let Yu Keqing continue sleeping with Xiao Bao.
After nearly two weeks of this arrangement, Lin Sheng anticipated that her heat cycle was approaching. She proactively had the school arrange a temporary field trip, a two days, one night excursion featuring barbecues, camping, and numerous games. It was packed with activities.
Children at this age are inherently active and energetic. Wen Ning insisted on dragging Xiao Bao along. Xiao Bao hesitated and came home to talk to Yu Keqing about it. Yu Keqing encouraged her to go. Xiao Bao’s personality was too quiet, and perhaps she could use this field trip as an opportunity to interact more with her classmates and make some friends. There was no harm in it. Only after learning that Lin Sheng would be away on a business trip and not at home during those two days did Xiao Bao finally agree to go camping.
On Saturday morning, Yu Keqing saw Xiao Bao off onto the bus for the field trip. Today was her day off as well, so with nothing to do, she went to the kitchen to bake some delicious pastries and also prepared some dog food for Tuan Tuan.
In the afternoon, she curled up in Xiao Bao’s room to read. Even though Lin Sheng wasn’t home, she refused to stay in the master bedroom on the second floor. After dinner, she still returned to Xiao Bao’s room.
She took a shower, and while drying her hair with a towel, she sat by the edge of the bed to flip through the few pages of the book she hadn’t finished that afternoon. Hearing a movement at the door, she assumed Tuan Tuan had sneaked out to play while she was showering. Without turning around, she reached her hand backward and beckoned with her fingers.
“Tuan Tuan, come here.”
Usually, Tuan Tuan would run over at this moment to lick her hand, but this time, nothing happened. Instead, a wave of rose fragrance washed over her, making the hairs on her body stand on end.
She whipped her head around.
Lin Sheng was leaning lazily against the doorframe. A semi-transparent purple sheer nightgown was loosely wrapped around her body. Bathed in the room’s light, it seemed to blur against her skin, casting an ambiguous glow.
One side of her shoulder was half-exposed, her collarbone dipping shallowly, drawing one’s gaze downward uncontrollably. The tie at her waist was casually looped, loosely cinching her slender yet voluptuous waist. Her curves unfolded softly from her chest to her waist and hips, full and supple.

Lin Sheng didn’t move. She merely tilted her head slightly, her fingertips mindlessly hooking the tie of her nightgown and giving it a gentle tug, loosening the hem by a few more fractions.
Her gaze drifted over slowly. She didn’t speak, nor did she smile, yet it felt like a fine feather brushing lightly against the core of Yu Keqing’s heart, lazy, bewitching, nonchalant, and entirely confident of victory.
She was unapologetically gorgeous and sophisticatedly alluring, standing there, she was a silent, masterful seduction.
Yu Keqing gripped the towel tightly in her hands, her body instinctively retreating toward the back of the bed.
Hadn’t Lin Sheng gone on a business trip? Wasn’t she supposed to return next week? Why was she suddenly appearing here?
Lin Sheng walked forward with slow steps, each one seeming to step directly onto Yu Keqing’s heartstrings.
She reached out, pulled the towel from Yu Keqing’s hands, and tossed it aside. Then, bracing both hands on either side of Yu Keqing, she trapped her in the middle. Lin Sheng’s scented breath brushed against Yu Keqing’s ear, her triumphant light chuckle laced with suppressed desire.
“Did you think I was away on business?” Her exhaled breath was both fragrant and scorching hot, burning the skin on the side of Yu Keqing’s neck.
Yu Keqing’s heart raced. Her mind went blank for a moment before she quickly snapped out of it, realizing that this had all been meticulously orchestrated by Lin Sheng. To send Xiao Bao away, Lin Sheng had truly gone through a lot of trouble.
Yu Keqing was both angry and anxious, yet she could not break free from the absolute control of the rose scent. Was Lin Sheng in heat?
The room was saturated with an inviting aroma, and the soft lighting felt as if it had been custom-made for this exact moment.
Yu Keqing gritted her teeth, trying her best to calm down, but her body trembled uncontrollably.
“Back to the master bedroom, or right here? You choose.”
Lin Sheng’s fingers lightly traced Yu Keqing’s shoulder, her tongue licking the base of Yu Keqing’s ear before capturing the small, delicate, and luminous earlobe. The wet, warm sensation sent waves of tremors through Yu Keqing.
Yu Keqing turned her head to avoid it; she didn’t want to choose either.
Lin Sheng’s hand slid toward the back of Yu Keqing’s neck, asking against her earlobe, “Do you want it here?”
Yu Keqing bit her lip hard, knowing there was absolutely no escaping tonight.
“Back… back to the bedroom.”
Inside the master bedroom, the air was thick with a dense, un-dispersible rose fragrance, as intoxicating as if it had been steeped in wine, silently and imperceptibly intertwining everything.
The semi-transparent purple sheer fabric rose and fell gently with her breathing. Lin Sheng’s proud silhouette suddenly melted into a pool of water, her slender waist dipping deeply as her curves became increasingly burning and full under the influence of lust.
This charming rose, Lin Sheng, was about to bloom fully. The corners of her eyes were tinged with a damp, soft redness, and her already alluring eyes were veiled in a layer of watery mist. Lin Sheng felt as if her entire body was on fire, burning painfully. Only Yu Keqing’s sandalwood scent could extinguish this blaze.
She sought out Yu Keqing’s lips once more, biting and sucking haphazardly, eagerly thrusting her tongue inside to entangle with Yu Keqing’s.
“Stop messing around. I already gave you two weeks of freedom, and now you’re still acting up with me.”
Her muffled voice was mixed with the clear fragrance of saliva, this was Yu Keqing’s scent, and it infatuated her deeply. Especially right now, she couldn’t wait another second. She ruthlessly tore away the purple sheer fabric that was already too thin to hide anything, grabbing Yu Keqing’s hand to force it over her own body, leaving flushes of red wherever it touched.
Yu Keqing closed her eyes. After two weeks of testing boundaries, there were still some things she wasn’t entirely sure of. She might as well take this opportunity…
“If you want it, let go of me.”
Her voice remained soft and lacked confidence, but at the very least, she had found the courage to speak these words to Lin Sheng.
The look in Lin Sheng’s eyes turned from surprise to anticipation. She actually, slowly, released her grip on Yu Keqing’s hands, though she still didn’t let her leave her embrace.
Yu Keqing looked down, her trembling fingertips brushing past Lin Sheng’s exquisite curves as she asked softly, “Do you really want it that badly?”
Unable to endure it, Lin Sheng panted, “What do you think?”
Having confirmed the intense craving of Lin Sheng’s body, Yu Keqing finally raised her head slowly.
