As expected, the moment Gu Lin asked, the system instantly wilted like an eggplant struck by frost.

It had been very excited about the whole “promotion” idea at first, but after reviewing a few case studies, it quickly lost heart.
It was just too hard.
The sheer number of things to consider made its head spin.
Just when it was agonizing over the task, it heard the robot’s alarm and immediately used that as an excuse to slack off, running out under the pretext of an emergency.
So when Gu Lin brought it up now, the system was immediately guilty and stammered, unable to find the right words.
“If you think it’s too complicated, you can take your time,” Gu Lin said gently.
“Pushing something in front of others is never easy. I’m sure it’s not simple even in system space.”

And the first thing he saw when he opened his eyes was Kaxiu leaving.
Gu Lin wanted to stay silent and enjoy the peace, but the noisy little system had no such intention.
It chattered endlessly, telling him everything it saw last night, then rambling on about the new things it had learned from the system forums.
On and on it went, until Gu Lin was on the verge of interrupting.
Then, suddenly, the system cried out in delight, 【Host! Someone just redeemed your course!】
The little system had always been lively. Its mouth couldn’t stop, and neither could its hands.

But it was enough to make the little system nearly explode with joy.
It had sold its very first tutorial!
That single transaction brought in ten points. Even after splitting half with its host, it still had five.
It was its very first independent earning, its first real profit outside of the regular system share.
Overjoyed, it immediately shared the good news with its host.
