There is nothing difficult in this world as long as you are willing to act spoiled!

Fu Jia wore a pitiful expression, grabbed Lu Heng’s arm, and shook it hard: “Hu~bby~”

“Hubby hubby hubby~” Fu Jia’s spoiled offensive was terrifyingly strong, making one gradually lose themselves amidst call after call of hubby.

To make him shut up, Lu Heng eventually agreed.

“I knew it, hubby, you’re the best.” Fu Jia blew him a flying kiss and cordially invited Lu Heng to soak in the bath with him.

“Considering you lent me your bathtub, I sincerely invite you to bathe with me.” Fu Jia looked entirely sincere.

Unsurprisingly, this was met with Lu Heng’s merciless rejection.

Fu Jia wasn’t too disappointed; he happily dashed into the bathroom to fill the bathtub with water.

“This water is so hard to fill! Hubby, you don’t mind if I lie on your bed for a bit, do you?” After finishing his symbolic inquiry, Fu Jia unceremoniously climbed onto Lu Heng’s bed, giving no room for refusal.

Wow, this bed really is more comfortable than the one in my room! Fu Jia happily rolled from the head of the bed to the foot, messing up the bedding and quilt that Lu Heng had originally folded so neatly.

Lu Heng furrowed his brows tightly, practically writing the word “disgust” across his face.

After rolling around a full circle, Fu Jia lay flat on the pillow and began playing his single-player game out of boredom.

When someone isn’t causing trouble, they can actually be quite quiet. Lu Heng withdrew his gaze and went back to reading his book.

After a little while, a furry head crawled over toward his leg.

“Hubby~ I can’t get past this level, can you help me beat it!” Fu Jia waved his phone in front of him.

Lu Heng looked closely and saw it was the interface of some match-three puzzle game.

“Hubby~” The person started calling out in that spoiled, sweet tone again.

Fearing that his ears would suffer abuse once more, Lu Heng snatched the phone right out of his hand.

He cleared the level in two minutes and tossed the phone back to Fu Jia.

“Wow! Hubby is so amazing! Unlike me, my brain is a bit silly.” Fu Jia showered Lu Heng with compliments while affectedly speaking in teasing tones.

Lu Heng glanced at him, his words cutting and harsh: “You really are silly.”

Fu Jia: “”

His hubby was great in every way, except unfortunately he was born with a mouth.

Such a good-looking mouth, what a pity not to make out with him.

Remembering what the butler told him, Lu Heng casually brought it up: “Did your older brother come to see you today?”

Remembering the plot from the original text, Fu Jia immediately became alert: “He is my older brother. Hubby, you can’t harbor improper thoughts about my older brother!”

With his face flushed pink, he added: “But you can harbor them about me.”

Lu Heng was indifferent: “Rest assured, I have even less thoughts about you.”

“The water should be almost full.” Lu Heng reminded him.

Fu Jia ran over to take a look, and sure enough, it was filled.

“Hubby, are you really not coming in to soak with me?” He extended a cordial invitation once more.

Lu Heng replied with a cold profile view of his face.

Fu Jia: “Hubby, if I faint in the bathtub, will you rush in and give me artificial respiration?”

Lu Heng’s tone was rigid: “I won’t.”

Hah! What a cold and ruthless man.

Fu Jia shrugged and entered the bathroom by himself.

Steam billowed inside the bathroom, wrapping the white mist around like a fairyland on earth.

Fu Jia eagerly rushed toward his long-desired large bathtub, immersing his entire body in the hot water.

He also put on wireless earbuds, listening to music while playing games.

Fu Jia had been inside the bathroom for about twenty minutes. Earlier, a few out-of-tune singing voices had drifted out, but gradually it went quiet.

Another twenty minutes passed, and Lu Heng started feeling a bit restless.

His mind was completely filled with Fu Jia’s words: “Hubby, if I faint in the bathtub, will you rush in and give me artificial respiration?”

Lu Heng frowned almost imperceptibly.

Could this guy really be foolish enough to take a bath and faint inside?

He got up, walked over to the bathroom door, and knocked heavily: “Fu Jia?”

“Fu Jia!”

There was still dead silence from inside.

Lu Heng pushed the door open with a shove.

The mist-swirling bathroom exuded an elegant scent of body wash. Fu Jia, wearing a furry hair cap, was sitting in the bathtub playing games. Because he had soaked in the hot water for too long, his cheeks were still stained with a faint blush.

Even the fair shoulders exposed above the water surface were covered in a light pinkish hue.

Hearing the loud commotion by the door, he finally raised his head from the phone screen and took off his Bluetooth earphones, which had been turned up to maximum volume.

The person soaking in the bathtub calmly glanced at Lu Heng, who had barged in anxiously.

Hah! Saying no with his mouth, yet forcibly pushing the door open while he was halfway through his bath.

What a hypocritical man.

Still, he liked it.

Fu Jia scooped up a handful of foam and blew on it gently, sending countless bubbles drifting toward Lu Heng at the doorway in an intensely flirtatious manner.

“Hubby~ I knew it, you wanted to take a mandarin duck bath with me.”

Honestly, he never said he was unwilling.

Lu Heng: “”

He expressionlessly glanced at the person in the bathtub with half his little shoulders bare who was making eyes at him.

Closing his eyes for a moment, he took a step back and heavily slammed the bathroom door shut.

Fu Jia took a comfortable bath, put on a bathrobe, and walked out of the bathroom.

He headed straight for Lu Heng’s large bed.

“Hubby, I’m done soaking~” He wrapped a white rabbit dry-hair cap on his head, his pair of eyes misty with water vapor, looking all watery and hazy.

Lu Heng glanced in his direction, his gaze pausing for a moment on his half-bare collarbone.

There lay a patch of snow-white skin, dyed a soft shade of pink by the rising steam.

An elegant fragrance diffused into the air.

Lu Heng quickly averted his gaze.

“Hubby, do you want to hold me while we sleep tonight~ I can warm the bed for you, yo~” Fu Jia earnestly recommended himself for the pillow, while searching for the right opportunity to burrow under the covers.

“Don’t want to.” The man turned his face away and got up with an unnatural expression.

Fu Jia was scared to death by his sudden movement, thinking Lu Heng was going to kick him out of the room again just like yesterday. He hurriedly performed a carp leap and climbed up from the bed.

“Hubby, sit down quickly! I’ve already matured, I can roll away gracefully by myself.”

Having said that, he indeed rolled away gracefully, and before rolling away he didn’t forget to swipe one of the pillows from Lu Heng’s bed.

He had already swiped one last night, and today the butler had the maids replace the set, only for another one to be swiped away today.

Lu Heng looked at the lonely single pillow left on the bed: “”

Does this guy have some weird fetish for collecting other people’s pillows?

Fu Jia hugged the pillow he had pilfered from his hubby’s bed and returned to his own room next door.

Adding yesterday’s, he now had four pillows.

Fu Jia arranged all four pillows neatly at the head of the bed and lay down comfortably.

“Good night~” He patted the pillow he had stolen from Lu Heng’s room, pretending it was Lu Heng.

It doesn’t matter; sooner or later he will steal the owner of the pillow into his covers too. Fu Jia thought with absolute confidence.

The next day, he slept in until late morning again before getting up, but unexpectedly, Lu Heng was actually around.

Fu Jia walked downstairs pleasantly surprised: “Hubby~ You didn’t go to work today, did you want to stay home and keep me company?”

Lu Heng’s tone was cold: “No.”

“Taking a day off today.”

As the top executive of the company, Lu Heng didn’t necessarily have to go to the office every single day. Occasionally when things weren’t busy, he could appropriately take a day or two off.

“That’s great!” The excitement on Fu Jia’s face didn’t diminish at all, “Let’s eat breakfast together!”

“I’ve already eaten.” Just as Lu Heng finished speaking, his phone rang with a notification; it was a call from Old Master Lu.

To prevent the previous incident from happening again, he glanced at the person already sitting at the dining table eating, stood up, and walked outside to answer.

Fu Jia nibbled on the hot bread, watching him curiously carry his phone outdoors.

Why is he acting all mysterious just to answer a phone call?

After he finished eating and burped, Lu Heng finally walked back inside from the door with his phone.

“Are you full?” he asked.

Fu Jia nodded: “Full.”

“There is a family banquet tomorrow, Grandpa said he wants to see you.” As he spoke, he glanced at the inconspicuous white T-shirt Fu Jia was wearing, frowned, and said, “Have the maids measure your size later.”

However, going to the Lu family tomorrow means there’s no time to have custom clothes made now.

Lu Heng thought for a moment and said to the butler: “Take him out to buy a couple of outfits first!”

The butler nodded and acknowledged with a sound.

Fu Jia pouted unhappily: “Aren’t you coming with me?”

Fu Jia wore a grievance-stricken expression: “You clearly said you were resting today.”

Fu Jia started acting spoiled: “I don’t care, I don’t care~”

Lu Heng: “”

Perhaps recalling the words Butler Wang had said, Lu Heng pondered for a moment and actually nodded in agreement.

The person who had been looking glum just a moment ago instantly turned pleasantly surprised, as cheerful as a little sparrow.

The butler, hiding his accomplishments and fame, calmly went to arrange for the driver.

Fu Jia hadn’t really wandered around shopping malls much before, let alone had any experience buying clothes.

He did have plenty of experience buying sexy outfits, unfortunately none of them came in handy.

Fu Jia thought of the precious clothes filling up more than half of his wardrobe and shed a tear of regret.

If only he could have brought them over with him; with those big treasures, capturing Lu Heng would be a matter of minutes!

Lu Heng had even less experience buying clothes; his clothes were all custom-made by renowned designers, or else shipped directly from domestic and international luxury brands according to his measurements.

The two arrived at a commercial building in the city center and strolled through the luxury men’s wear section.

“Hubby, I don’t know how to pick clothes, help me pick them~” Fu Jia hooked his arm around Lu Heng’s, arranging himself as naturally as a young couple who had been together for several years.

After Lu Heng pushed him away a few times only for him to bounce right back into place, he could only give up with a dark face.

At first, Lu Heng hadn’t intended to pick clothes for him, but because the styles Fu Jia picked were far too wild, making his brows twitch continuously, he finally couldn’t help himself and selected two sets for him in the formal wear section.

Fu Jia changed into the small black suit picked out by Lu Heng, and even he himself was stunned by the person in the mirror. He widened his eyes in disbelief and poked his own cheeks: “Oh my god~ How can there be someone this good-looking in the world!”

Lu Heng and the sales assistant nearby: “”

Yet this person remained hopelessly immersed in his own peerless beauty, happily admiring himself back and forth in the mirror with a dazed expression of being mesmerized by himself.

Lu Heng frowned speechlessly, beginning to question why he had agreed to go out with this person.

“Hubby, come look and see if I look good?” The person who had finished narcissizing in front of the mirror rushed toward him with a pair of sparkling eyes.

Fu Jia’s figure was already very good; wearing a suit made his waist look slimmer and his legs longer, especially those full hips which looked even more pert and lifted.

Lu Heng’s gaze involuntarily lingered on his waist and hips for two seconds, then snapped back as if he had been scalded.

He stared expressionlessly at the floor while a suspicious flush bloomed over the tips of his ears.

“Looks good.”
