Bian Menghan released his grip and lowered Shi Changting’s body. With one hand, he stroked Shi Changting’s back as if to comfort him, while his other hand moved silently to the back of his neck.
Bian Menghan pressed his fingers against a specific point, curling them slightly and applying pressure. His expression was calm, like a bottomless deep pool.
Shi Changting’s body immediately went limp, and he collapsed, dazed, into Bian Menghan’s arms.
Bian Menghan slowly hooked the corners of his lips into an intriguing smile.
“Master, be good. Come home with your disciple.”
Before Shi Changting could even wait for his disciple-taking ceremony, he had been abducted by Bian Menghan.
When he woke up, he discovered he was still on that same bed. It was astonishingly large and luxurious, enough to stretch him out and wrap around him three times.
Bian Menghan was lying right beside him, propping his head up with one hand, watching him with a mocking, half-smile.
“Master, you are awake.”
Shi Changting’s scalp tingled, and he sat up abruptly. It is fine, it is fine, Shi Changting consoled himself. He was absolutely still a straight man. Otherwise, he would not feel so uncomfortable and react so strongly upon seeing himself lying with another man.
Bian Menghan propped himself up, watching him unblinkingly, and smiled slightly. “What is wrong, Master? Why is your reaction so strong?”
What is wrong? You ask me what is wrong! You should go look in a mirror! The look in your eyes right now is as if you are about to eat me alive!
“Nothing.” Shi Changting shifted to the side, gritting his teeth in frustration, but knowing he could not provoke the other party right now, he could only endure it.
Shi Changting’s entire demeanor, which practically screamed his refusal, instantly ignited the anger in Bian Menghan’s heart.
He leaned in close, reached out to grip Shi Changting’s chin, forcing him to look at him, and said coldly: “Master, are you truly that unwilling to see your disciple? Do you loathe your disciple to such an extent?”
Bian Menghan said with hatred: “Does Master not like your disciple? Did you not want to protect your disciple? Did you not say you would always stand by your disciple’s side and not let anyone harm him ever again! Why! How much time has passed! Have you forgotten so quickly, Master?”
His Master had endured thirty lashings for him, protected him in front of everyone, taught him sword techniques and immortal arts, slept by his side every day, and even gifted him the immortal sect’s supreme treasure, the God-Slaying Sword, while saying those things to him. How could his Master not like him! How could he not like him!
“It is not.” Shi Changting felt exhausted, as if he were trying to explain something that Bian Menghan simply could not grasp. “Master already told you, that was merely concern—the kind that exists between family.”
“Shut up!” Bian Menghan roared as if he had snapped. “I do not want to hear it!”
Why! Why does Master say such things again! He spent the time patiently listening to him speak, not to hear him say these things!
Bian Menghan’s grip on Shi Changting’s chin tightened sharply. Shi Changting hissed in pain, watching as the other man’s eyes slowly filled with a crazed, demonic madness.
Shi Changting’s heart trembled. It is ruined. I spoke too harshly. My disciple is provoked again.
He desperately grabbed Bian Menghan’s hand, trying to pull it away to escape from such a humiliating shackle. However, Bian Menghan would not give him the chance.
With a flick of his sleeve, a black pill fell into his palm.
He said like a madman: “Master, it is you who forced me.”
In the next second, without hesitation, he forced the pill into Shi Changting’s mouth, covering his lips so he could not spit it out.
“Ugh, what, ugh.” Shi Changting had not expected this. The pill slid down his throat, and a numbing sensation made him cough violently.
Shi Changting’s voice changed in terror: “Cough, cough, cough! You bastard! Cough! What have you fed me!”
He had a vague guess in his heart, but he dared not think about it.
Bian Menghan’s voice was sinister: “It is, of course, a good thing that will allow you to be happy, Master. Master must have never used it before.”
Shi Changting’s entire body shook. He went numb instantly. He looked at Bian Menghan in disbelief, his body trembling. “You… you bastard! Beast!”
“Shameless! Bastard! Beast! Scum! You are betraying your Master and destroying your ancestors! Can Master think of any other words? You repeat the same ones, and Master has not grown tired of saying them, but your disciple is already tired of hearing them. Do you want your disciple to teach you two more words?”
Shi Changting’s chest heaved violently, but he maintained a shred of rationality, trying to reason with him. “You, you take out the antidote first. Now it is not too late. There is still room to turn back.”
Bian Menghan had not expected that even now, Shi Changting was still trying to convince him. But what Shi Changting did not know was that Bian Menghan did not want to be convinced—he only wanted to be convinced through action. He would personally prove to his Master what “liking” truly meant.
“Menghan, turn back now.”
Turning back is the shore.
Bian Menghan’s eyes filled with tears, slowly suppressing the trace of wounded despair in them. “Master, I do not want to turn back, because I am afraid that if I turn back, you will be gone.”
Damn it! I definitely will be gone! If I had known earlier that I would spend half my life to save a white-eyed wolf who wants to do me, I would have rather let you rot in the wilderness from the start!
Damn it. What kind of drug is this? It is so potent!
Shi Changting’s limbs trembled slightly, the movement so small that one would not notice unless looking closely. Shi Changting was controlled by Bian Menghan and could not move at all.
However, this was not the most desperate part. The most terrifying aspect was the strange sensation radiating from his limbs. He wanted to struggle, but felt he had no strength, and could only grip Bian Menghan’s hand. He could not help but want to be closer, and closer still.
It is ruined! My integrity is not going to be saved! No! No! No!
He struggled with his final ounce of strength, but under the influence of the medicine, it looked more like another form of playing hard to get.
Bian Menghan’s eyes became dark and bottomless, flashing with a hot, scarlet light.
“Master.”
Bian Menghan could hear nothing anymore. He moved gently. Finally, he did to his Master what he had dreamed of.
The breeze outside blew, rustling the leaves on the ground. The leaves followed the rhythm of the wind, swiftly, rhythmically, and silently dancing with the breeze.
Time is truly wonderful. Time is just right.
Yet, Shi Changting’s consciousness was like a candle in the wind. At times, he fell into deep darkness, and at others, he was dragged back into the light of reality. He drifted between fainting and waking several times. He could feel that he was still alive, but he felt that death would have been better.
