In the afternoon, Old Master Jiang leisurely walked ahead while Jiang Nanshan came in weighed down by big and small bags, all brought from the old family home.

While moving, Jiang Nanshan felt his father was deliberately testing his patience. After all, the old man had even brought along pots and pans.

After four or five trips back and forth, everything was finally moved in. At least he wasn’t needed for organizing, which made him breathe a sigh of relief.

He took a sip of water, collected himself, and tried to leave.

But the old master grabbed him and pulled him out the door.

Jiang Nanshan knew there was no escaping they were going to the Shen family to apologize!

There was no choice. He bought some gifts he couldn’t go empty-handed.

How things went afterward, Jiang Chuyao learned from Shen Hexuan.

Since the old couple had moved in, although Jiang Nanshan and the others hadn’t come to move luggage, they hadn’t returned either!

It seemed an unspoken agreement had formed: they wouldn’t come, and the old couple wouldn’t leave.

Early that morning, Jiang Chuyao made a simple breakfast, ate, and then left for school.

The holiday was over, and classes resumed.

Jiang Chuyao had originally been in the first year of high school, but she skipped a grade after the exams.

Now, she was in the same class as Jiang Chuying.

At first, she had thought it would be wonderful to be in the same class as her sister, to have companionship and look out for each other.

Later, she realized Jiang Chuying despised her diligence and learning. Skipping a grade to be in the same class was more of an insult than a favor!

But she was going to make sure Jiang Chuying felt insulted again.

Haha, if you’re tormenting someone and don’t enjoy it, what’s the fun?

Not only did she want to feel satisfaction, she wanted to make the other person cry with it!

As soon as she entered the classroom, she noticed her classmates’ gazes were unusual.

But she didn’t care.

When she reached her desk, she saw it had been scribbled all over with insults ugly phrases covering every inch.

Jiang Chuyao calmly took a custom desk cloth out of her backpack. The blue cloth with wavy edges stood out sharply from the rest of the desks, drawing attention.

The mischievous classmates were stunned. They had thought it would make her cry!

But she was prepared.

Before she even sat down, she noticed a problem with the chair it had a wobbly leg.

In her previous life, she hadn’t noticed and fell straight onto the floor!

The classroom had erupted in laughter. Her face was small, she cried in frustration, and she ran out of the classroom, skipping class!

Parents were called… basically, a flood of bad memories came rushing back.

Just as everyone thought Jiang Chuyao had no solution, she pulled out a hammer and nails from her backpack.

“Clang clang clang…” She tapped a few times, hammered a bit, tested the chair, and once it was sturdy, put the hammer back in her bag.

Everyone was dumbfounded.

Some even dared to ask quietly what else was in her backpack.

Jiang Chuyao replied: “A treasure chest.”

The other student could only give an awkward laugh. “You’re really something!”

Then, hissing sounds came from her desk drawer. She looked down and saw a black shadow rushing at her face a snake!

“Ah!” Anyone who saw it clearly screamed.

But in a flash, Jiang Chuyao grabbed the snake’s weak point.

“Hiss!” Many students gasped.

This girl didn’t seem normal!

The mischievous classmates were completely dumbfounded.

“Is that all? Such a small trick and you’re showing off?” Jiang Chuyao went to the window and released the snake outside.

“Whoa, Jiang Chuyao, are you even a woman?” Mo Shaoshan, who usually flattered Jiang Chuying, exclaimed.

“Go ask your mom. She is. I’m just me. We’re all on the same family registry. Sorry you’re upset!” Jiang Chuyao took out a handkerchief to wipe her hands.

“What?”

“There’s no third gender, so we have to sort you in the boys’ column!” Jiang Chuyao decided that to secure her position, sometimes she had to step forward even if she didn’t want to.

Hiding was impossible better to fight!

“You’re asking for trouble, huh?”

“Should I leave you with one hand?” Jiang Chuyao’s tone was contemptuous, completely different from before.

Previously, she never caused trouble. If anyone did, she meekly complied.

Now, decisive and fierce, it was the first time anyone had seen her like this!

Mo Shaoshan cursed and tried to approach. Before he could swing, Jiang Chuyao sprayed him with pepper spray from her bag!

“Ah! It burns! Help!” Mo Shaoshan screamed, and eventually someone helped him deal with it.

Just as everyone thought she had made her point, she walked to the podium.

“If you’re wasting your precious high school years trying to deal with me, let me tell you you’ll always be behind me. When I shine brightly, you’ll only ever be an imitation!”

“Damn!”

“Crazy!”

“How dare she say something so absurd!” As the murmurs of discontent rose, Jiang Chuyao smiled.

Her smile caught the attention of several boys.

“What’s wrong? Don’t agree?”

“We don’t!” The class answered in unison.

“Then, shall we make a bet?” Jiang Chuyao asked.

“A bet!”

“I’m currently top thirty in the grade. Next exam, I’ll be top ten. If I make it, each of you will carry my bag for a day!” Jiang Chuyao’s words left everyone stunned.

“What about us? What if you don’t make top ten?” someone asked.

“Think about the last exam before you answer. If I don’t make top ten, I’ll carry your bag for a month each!” Jiang Chuyao said confidently, shocking the class.

“You’re crazy!” some questioned.

“Or have you cheated? If so, don’t be stingy share it!” a struggling student piped up.

Jiang Chuyao ignored him and looked at the class, unflinching.
