The Federal Marriage Center’s official website was open to the public. Anyone who clicked onto the website could see the matching profiles that had already been uploaded.
The moment Yun Yang’s matching profile was uploaded, before the staff at the Marriage Center could even react, the single males who spent all day lurking on the StarNet waiting for a female to pick them went into an uproar.
【Everyone, wake up! Stop sleeping! A female has uploaded her matching profile!】
【Ms. Yun Yang, 21 years old, unmarried, 0 beast husbands? Good heavens, there’s actually such a good thing? I’m applying for a match right now! Beast God bless me, I hope I can become one of Ms. Yun Yang’s beast husbands.】
【Ms. Yun Yang, do you browse the StarNet? Look at me! I’m 22, have no bad habits, have a B-rank ability, and I’ve saved over a million federal credits.】
【Get lost. You actually have the nerve to show off that little bit of wealth? Lady, look at me. I have an A-rank ability and over five million federal credits in savings!】
Ability?
Yun Yang, who was browsing the StarNet, saw this unfamiliar term and immediately searched through the original owner’s memories.
Oh, this world was much like the interstellar novels she had read before. Males could beastify their bodies and possessed powerful abilities, making them the main fighting force against the Zerg.
However, using their abilities caused males to accumulate contamination. Once their contamination level reached 100, they would completely turn into mindless beasts.
Female interstellar beings could not beastify, but they possessed powerful mental strength that could purify the contamination males suffered from.
Of course, some exceptionally gifted females could also awaken abilities, but the probability was less than one in ten thousand.
Like mental strength, abilities were divided into F-rank, E-rank, D-rank, C-rank, B-rank, A-rank, and S-rank, with the higher SS-rank and SSS-rank above them.
Anything below F-rank was classified as having no ability or no mental strength. As for those above 3S-rank, none had ever appeared in the more than three-thousand-year history of the Federation.
Yun Yang tried to recall the original owner’s mental strength rank, only to discover that because the original owner had been so utterly preoccupied with that crooked tree, she had never bothered to have her mental strength tested.
Seriously, what was so great about that crooked tree?
Yun Yang couldn’t understand.
At the same time, her smart terminal vibrated. It was a message from the Federal Marriage Center.
【Federal Marriage Center: Esteemed Ms. Yun Yang, did you forget to fill in your mental strength rank?】
Yun Yang was silent for a moment before finally replying: 【Um, I’ve never had it tested. How do I get it tested?】
The staff member responsible for sending the notification looked at the message in disbelief.
In the Federation, females awakened their mental strength upon reaching adulthood, so normally, once a female came of age, her mother and father would take her to a mental strength testing center to have her rank tested.
This Ms. Yun Yang was already twenty-one. Not only was this her first time applying to be matched with beast husbands, she had never even had her mental strength rank tested?
Could it be that Ms. Yun Yang was actually an orphan…
The staff member cut off that line of thought and immediately sent a message to the Federal Female Protection Center before replying to Yun Yang.
【Federal Marriage Center: Esteemed Ms. Yun Yang, if it is convenient for you, we can send someone to escort you to the mental strength testing center.】
【That’s convenient. My address is X92 Star XXXX.】
The moment the staff member saw her reply, they began contacting the X92 Star branch. In less than fifteen minutes, a luxurious flying ship with a speed comparable to that of light was already parked outside Yun Yang’s villa.
A line of tall, imposing males stepped off the ship.
As they looked at the villa door in front of them, the males were already beginning to feel nervous.
“I don’t dare knock on the door.”
“Neither do I.”
“Don’t look at me. I’ve said fewer than three words to females in my entire life, ahhh!”
The males began pushing the responsibility onto one another, and none of them dared step forward to knock on the door.
It was only after the robot butler notified Yun Yang that she turned off the light screen. The robot butler hoisted her onto its shoulder and carried her over to open the door.
Hmm… The basic programming of Federation-produced robot butlers was simple: they absolutely could not allow a noble female to exert herself in the slightest.
Yun Yang still wasn’t quite used to it. In her previous life, she had been a shorty who stood only five feet tall, while robot butlers were all 185 centimeters tall. This was the first time she’d ever experienced such a lofty perspective.
However, she quickly got used to it. Once the robot butler opened the door, she took the initiative to greet the males standing outside.
“Hello, are you staff from the Federal Marriage Center?”
In the eyes of the males, however, when the luxurious villa door opened, a stunningly beautiful and precious female sitting on a robot’s shoulder suddenly appeared before them without warning.
The males outside were dazzled by her beauty. One by one, they stared at Yun Yang in a daze for a moment before their faces flushed bright red.
Beast God above, such a beautiful female had actually taken the initiative to speak to them!
Yun Yang tilted her head when she received no response. “Hello?”
The line of males suddenly snapped back to their senses. They hadn’t even answered Ms. Yun Yang’s question right away!
The male at the front silently cursed himself before quickly composing himself and replying, “Yes, esteemed Ms. Yun Yang. We are staff from the X92 Star Marriage Center. We’ve come to take you to the X92 Star Mental Strength Testing Center.”
Yun Yang blinked.
She was only going to have her mental strength tested. Did she really need ten 191-centimeter-tall, reasonably handsome males to escort her?
The females of the Federation really had it good.
Yun Yang patted the robot butler on the head, signaling for it to put her down. Only then did she say to the ten males, “Thank you for the trouble.”
“It’s no trouble at all!”
The ten males escorted Yun Yang onto the flying ship. Fifteen minutes later, they arrived at the X92 Star Mental Strength Testing Center.
The Mental Strength Testing Center had also received word. The moment Yun Yang stepped off the flying ship, she saw the same ten reasonably handsome, 191-centimeter-tall males standing at the entrance, clearly there to receive her.
“Esteemed Ms. Yun Yang, please follow us to the testing room.”
Yun Yang nodded and followed the ten males into the testing center. The Mental Strength Testing Center was one of the places the Federation valued most, so it had been built to an exceptionally luxurious standard. Each testing room was nearly a hundred square meters.
Yun Yang once again witnessed just how highly the Federation valued females.
All she had to do was sit in the testing room and take a sip of the juice brought by a staff member. The equipment would then scan her entire body, not only determining her mental strength rank but also checking whether she had any minor health issues.
She didn’t have to lift a finger throughout the entire process.
After the examination was complete, the same ten males came to escort her again. “Esteemed Ms. Yun Yang, the test results will be sent to your smart terminal in ten minutes. Do you have any other needs?”
Ten minutes?
That was much faster than getting the results of a physical examination in her previous life.
The interstellar world really was something else.
Yun Yang marveled inwardly before shaking her head. “I don’t need anything else. Please take me back to my residence.”
“Of course.”
The ten males escorted her out of the Mental Strength Testing Center in grand fashion and onto the testing center’s flying ship.
Not far away, beside the Marriage Center’s flying ship, ten males stared wide-eyed.
“Damn it, those people at the testing center have no shame! Ms. Yun Yang was clearly brought here by us, yet they actually stole her from us!”
“Such scheming. Absolutely shameless.”
“We should’ve followed Ms. Yun Yang inside just now!”
By the time the ten males had finished grumbling indignantly, the testing center’s flying ship had already disappeared from sight.
The flying ships of both institutions were incredibly fast. By the time Yun Yang was returned to her villa and sat down, her mental strength test results still hadn’t arrived.
She browsed the StarNet for a little while longer before finally receiving a message from the testing center.
Three messages in a row.
【X92 Star Mental Strength Testing Center: Esteemed Ms. Yun Yang, your mental strength rank is S-rank, and your physical condition is good.】
【X92 Star Mental Strength Testing Center: Esteemed Ms. Yun Yang, congratulations! You have become the third female in the Federation to possess S-rank mental strength. We are sincerely delighted for you.】
【X92 Star Mental Strength Testing Center: Esteemed Ms. Yun Yang, the people at the X92 Star Marriage Center are all a bunch of brutes. If you need to be matched with beast husbands, our Mental Strength Testing Center can handle it for you as well.】
