Without waiting for Qi Jiahe’s answer, he quickly ran into the dining room and pulled out a chair to sit down.

Qi Jiahe walked into the dining room right after him, the corners of his lips still turned upward: “I can’t help but smile whenever I see you. Do you think I’ve gone crazy?”

He pulled out the chair opposite Jiang Yue, sat down, rested his chin on his hand, and looked at Jiang Yue with affectionate eyes.Full novel: After Entering a Marriage of Convenience with My Arch-Rival, He Said He Liked Me — read the rest free on NovelCodex.org

Jiang Yue picked up the chopsticks beside him. Lifting his gaze to meet Qi Jiahe’s eyes, he hurriedly lowered his head, picked up a fried dough stick, and placed it into the empty bowl in front of Qi Jiahe.

“I think so too. Why don’t you go check out a psychiatric hospital?”

He grabbed another fried dough stick for himself and dropped it straight into his porridge.

Qi Jiahe stared at the fried dough stick Jiang Yue had given him, picked it up, took a bite, and said, “Talk properly.”

After finishing breakfast, Jiang Yue was sitting comfortably on the sofa when the doorbell suddenly rang.

He stood up, walked slowly toward the door, and placed his hand on the doorknob. The next second, he abruptly stopped his movement and took a peek through the peephole.

Opening the door, the person standing outside looked completely unfamiliar to him. He asked with a puzzled expression: “Who are you?”

“Hello, Teacher Jiang. I’m the daily life assistant recommended by Brother Wang.”

The newcomer was a male Omega with a soft and tender voice.

Jiang Yue let out an “oh,” looked him up and down, and stepped aside to let the Omega enter.

“Hello, Teacher Jiang. My name is Meng Xiao.” As Jiang Yue turned back around, Meng Xiao stood face-to-face with him, lowered his head, and extended a hand.

Jiang Yue was startled. Looking at the hand stretched out toward him, he still politely shook it back.

“Meng Xiao?” Upstairs, Qi Jiahe was standing directly above them, resting his hand on the railing as he looked down at their clasped hands, and said softly.

His voice startled both of them. Jiang Yue instinctively pulled his hand back, and catching sight of Qi Jiahe’s smiling face, he pointed straight at him: “Why are you so stealthy? Did you glue sponges to the soles of your shoes?”

Qi Jiahe played dumb, lowering his head to lift his foot and inspect the sole before saying in a blank tone: “No way. There’s nothing on the soles of my shoes at all.”

Jiang Yue let out a huff.

Meng Xiao, standing right in front of him, felt that he really shouldn’t have come at this moment, nor should he have shaken hands with Jiang Yue at this exact time.

Although Brother Wang had told him that Jiang Yue and Best Actor Qi were cohabiting, seeing the way the two of them interacted made him think the rumors of their marriage online were probably true.

“Uh, hello, Best Actor Qi!” Meng Xiao awkwardly looked up at Qi Jiahe. Meeting his gaze, he quickly raised one hand to greet him.

Qi Jiahe looked at him with a smile on his lips: “Are you driving Jiang Yue to the variety show today?”

Meng Xiao froze for a second and nodded: “Yes.”

Jiang Yue’s gaze remained fixed on Qi Jiahe’s face, wanting to figure out what Qi Jiahe was actually up to.

“Alright then, give me a ride on the way out. My manager went AWOL again today,” Qi Jiahe nodded, his fingers continuously rubbing against the railing as he smiled and said.

Jiang Yue let out an “ah,” and with lightning-fast speed, bolted past Meng Xiao, rushing upstairs with a momentum of three steps in one.

“Qi Jiahe! You stop right there!”

Catching sight of Jiang Yue’s charging figure, Qi Jiahe hurriedly took off running, glancing back at Jiang Yue every three steps.

“What did I do? I just wanted to ride in the same car as you!”

“What are you even pretending for?!”

“What am I pretending for?”

Qi Jiahe pushed open his bedroom door and quickly dove inside, but before he had time to lock it, Jiang Yue shoved it open from the outside.

“You dare dodge me?” He could feel Jiang Yue’s eyes practically breathing fire as he spoke.

“Watch your behavior! You’re an Omega!”

A hand slapped against his stomach, and Qi Jiahe let out a groan.
