“Bang!”
In the center of the Alliance Military Academy’s mecha simulation arena, a ton-weight rabbit-type mecha split open the rugged, hard mountain rocks like lightning from a dark-night ghost.
The visible obstacles in the arena were shattered into pieces, and the series of deafening explosions thundered against the eardrums.
The smoke and sand of gunpowder gradually dissipated, and the tips of the dark mecha’s sharp, upturned rabbit ears twitched.
The sound of footsteps approaching from far to near grew louder, and the scent of alpha pheromones mixed and mingled.
A batch of uninvited guests arrived at the simulation training ground: they were tall in stature, wore lip rings and earrings, exhaled billows of smoke from the cigarettes dangling from their lips, and had bulging veins pulsing across their long arms.
The alpha at the lead locked a disdainful gaze onto the only summoned mecha, spat out a puff of cigarette smoke, ground his toe across the scattered sparks, and chuckled with a cynical, arrogant curl of his lip: “Is it him?”
It was easy to tell that their purpose was clear and they had come with bad intentions.
The massive mecha slowly turned around, its pair of bloodthirsty rabbit eyes glowing dark red. The sleek, dark-steel lion-rabbit crouched, looking harmless and curled into a ball on the surface.
As the flying dust cleared, the gigantic mecha body suddenly vanished, condensing into a tiny speck of human silhouette. It seemed like an insignificant speck of dust, yet it exuded a mysterious and powerful aura that made people shudder and yet compelled them to peer closer.
As the line of sight focused and magnified, the person’s white-gold, long upturned hair was blown into disarray, and a black-and-white tight training suit wrapped around a slender waist that could be gripped with a single hand. His straight legs possessed even proportions of bone and flesh, an advantageous ratio, and a pretty hip line—a body that was seductively hot.
Too bad he was an alphas.
Alphas were born with absolute physiological advantages in body size and strength, controlling the majority of the resources on the planet.
Omegas were born gentle and frail, as fragile as thin, gauze-like tissue paper that tore at the touch of water. They were the very resources and assets that everyone wished to plunder and possess, constantly having to live in anxiety of someone biting down on the back of their neck.
An S-class omega’s gland alone was enough to fetch a sky-high price on the black market.
A robust and burly physique was not reflected in this person. Obviously, this was a low-tier, inferior, and weak alpha, whose scent was as faint as plain water—the lowest-tier defective product.
Black leather military boots crunched and rustled over the dust. Shi Yixing’s white-gold chopped bangs fluttered, and the deep, bright red eyes beneath his brows carried a cold light, while his bland pheromones lacked deterrence.
The three-inch furry grey rabbit ears erect among his hair had pink, delicate, and pretty soft flesh inside their inner auricles, their triangular tips twitching slightly as the light grey fluff melted into the air.
He felt around in his waist-and-hip pocket, fished out a grape-flavored lollipop, tore open the wrapper, and shoved it into his mouth. “Crack” his jawbone crunched and chewed through the caramel coating on the surface. The sweet fruit fragrance mixed with the lingering bitter medicine scent stimulated his taste buds, and as the grape-flavored pheromone suppressed him, his anxious heartbeat calmed down slightly.
The stick of the pulled-out lollipop had an extra circle of tooth marks on it. Shi Yixing swung his wrist with precision and tossed it into a trash can more than ten meters away, gritting his teeth in a controlled, light sigh: “It’s my reserved time right now.”
The leading alpha smiled with a faint, contemptuous lightness, hooking his long arm over the railing of the training paddock and leaning downward as his tall stature slouched. A sharp, venomous snake-like tattoo extended from behind his ear down to his neck.
His voice was mixed with a muffled drawl: “O-ish little rabbit… alpha?”
The trailing, dragging cadence at the end was bitten down with heavy emphasis.
The pungent paint-scented pheromone was released intentionally or unintentionally, provoking, eroding, and encroaching upon the faint, odorless plain water scent.
Under the invasion of the dense pheromone, Shi Yixing’s body, burning with latent heat from his estrus cycle, tingled with pinprick pains. In nature, rabbits faced with King Rat Snakes were destined only to be preyed upon.
The King Rat Snake alpha before him was at least an A-class high-tier. High-tier snake-type alphas were rare among the few that could be named; their venomous, cold-blooded nature and top-tier high attributes undoubtedly made them formidable hands on the battlefield and key cultivation targets among the elites.
With black flake-like snake scales glowing fluorescently at his temples, the King Rat Snake alpha narrowed his flamboyantly upturned outer eye corners, taking a cold, unprovoked extra glance at the pretty little rabbit. His lower abdomen tightened, and his pheromone swarmed and leaked outward.
“Damn,” the alpha muttered in a low, husky growl. Fucking little rabbit looked even punchier and more intoxicating than those soft, sweet omegas who threw themselves at him. His formidable pheromone softened, releasing uncontrollably as if trying to court a mate.
Shi Yixing, currently in the grips of hidden estrus fever, had pale pink cheeks that looked like ripe, sweet peaches that could squeeze juice with a light pinch. The rims of his eyes were slightly reddened, yet his gaze remained icy.
The fierce enclosure of the full-body courtship pheromone stimulated him until his legs turned weak, and the medicinal effect he had just swallowed was in a precarious, hanging state.
The agonizing sensation of his heart being fiercely tugged and torn apart by a giant palm made his furry ear tips droop and burn with heat. The grey fluff trembled imperceptibly, and the roaring blood within his body rushed backward to roar and buzz inside his cochlea.
His watery red pupils remained fixed, his speech slow and unhurried: “Going into estrus toward an alpha? Are you… a male dog?
Let me say it again: this is my time, so get as far away as you can.”
The King Rat Snake alpha grinned, his vein-bulging arm propping against the rusted railing. His tall figure vaulted across in a fluid leap, landing abruptly right in front of the little rabbit as he licked his lips and slowly leaned in closer.
“Bang!” A pair of straight, muscular legs propelled a gust of hurricane force as they swept across the alpha’s neck with fast, precise, and ruthless momentum. The black leather military boots whipped up an afterimage and landed steadily in the sand.
The plain water-scented pheromone dominated and forcefully expelled the pungent paint scent.
The heavy, rubbery sole of the military boot stomped fiercely onto the alpha’s sturdy chest, grinding down with heavy pressure.
Shi Yixing’s bloodless lips turned pale, and the voice squeezed from between his teeth carried an added layer of gloomy ruthlessness: “I told you, right now… is my time.”
The sudden, explosive suppressed power of a low-tier alpha handled an A-class alpha with absolute control. Curling his finger bones, he landed a few more punches and followed up with several fierce kicks.
A weak physique, negligible plain water pheromones, and a lion-rabbit violently beating a King Rat Snake? If word got out, probably nobody would believe it.
“Tap-tap-tap-“ Several German Shepherd alphas that broke through the barrier growled and swarmed forward.
A crafty, sly smile hooked at the corner of Shi Yixing’s lips. With one hand, he drew a palm-length short truncheon from his waist pack, his wrist flicking gently as the baton extended.
With gathered strength in his footing, he raised his foot for a fierce kick. The King Rat Snake alpha let out a “Pfft” and spewed a mouthful of purulent blood, flying dozens of meters away.
He leaned aside to dodge a lunging minion, and “Clack” the iron baton smashed straight into that person’s spinal column, the crisp sound of shattering bones ringing out as the person crashed face-down into the dirt mound, howling and whimpering.
Seeing the situation turning south, the remaining people shifted their tactics, rushing forward like a collapsing mountain as their mixed pheromones ran wild and ravaged the air.
Shi Yixing’s dizzily swaying legs softened for a fraction of a second, his footsteps stumbling back half a step.
The rims of his lightly upturned eye corners grew moistened and red. The next second, the weak-legged little rabbit vanished with near-teleportation ghost-like speed, reappearing right behind several of them.
“Bang, Bang, Bang!”
The iron baton sliced through the air with several loud clangs. Before the four majestic, smug German Shepherd alphas could feel pleased, they tumbled down one after another like dumplings in a pot.
In the chaos, the lightning-fast dark shadow halted, its grey rabbit ears twitching twice.
Shi Yixing lowered his gaze, his slender fingertips gently brushing past the blood stains splattered on the silver iron baton before tucking it back into his pack. His heavy breathing was scalding hot, and his face grew even redder…
His stepping ankle tightened.
With a cold face, Shi Yixing hoisted up the King Rat Snake alpha, his hardened knuckle joints striking repeatedly against the man’s temples. The smell of bloodthirsty fishiness in the air drifted into his nose, and the shocking sound of fists slamming into flesh echoed.
“Bang” His blood-stained fingers lost strength, and the little rabbit’s legs collapsed abruptly as his knees hit the ground, his neck being fiercely grabbed and twisted from behind.
The S-class high-tier tequila pheromone overbearingly swallowed the surrounding blood, filling and encasing the entire training ground.
The sudden asphyxiation brought him close to fainting. His fragile, burning-hot neck could have been easily snapped with just a slight application of force.
With his breathing choked and paralyzed, the instinct for survival caused Shi Yixing to claw constantly at the giant palm that wanted his rabbit life.
His cheeks flushed red, and his red pupils lost focus. His fingertips pierced skin and merged into flesh, while low, broken whimpers spilled and overflowed from his mouth.
“Your Highness.” The weak voice of the King Rat Snake alpha who climbed up from the ground was mixed with seven parts reverence and three parts fear.
