He was inside a luxurious, oversized RV. The interior was decorated with extravagant, icy elegance, the ceiling glittered with a starry-sky design, every detail oozing wealth, and everything about this vehicle screamed of the immense fortune of its owner.
If not for that enraged voice, it would have been quite a beautiful scene.
“Butler Wang! What are you standing there in a daze for? Believe it or not, I’ll have you buried with her too!”
Jian Yue, who had been staring blankly at the star-studded ceiling, slowly turned his head back. For a fleeting moment, confusion flashed across his face. Then, almost sluggishly, he raised a hand and pointed at himself.

A sharp, splitting headache tore through his skull.
Then, without warning, a semi-transparent light screen flickered into existence in his mind, glowing faintly blue:

Jian Yue’s ears perked at the keywords; he was about to listen more closely.
The CEO suddenly turned toward him. “Butler Wang, keep investigating. I want to know everything about that village within three days!”
Jian Yue: “…Yes.”
Working for wages was a hard life; he felt the fatigue settle in his bones.
The CEO continued as if the matter weren’t serious at all. “After all, I spend tens of thousands every month to keep you all, this isn’t charity. If anything happens in Wanfu Village, you’d better be ready to die with her!”
Jian Yue’s expression changed. He answered with firm gravity, “Rest assured, Young Master. Leave it to me.”
As the two spoke, a faint female voice drifted from the rear of the RV.
The CEO’s face shifted instantly; he abandoned the matter of the butler and strode to the back. Once he left, the interior fell quiet again.
