“Come on, bro, do all bad guys have to give off déjà vu this strong?” Li Hao couldn’t help but complain.
“Why do you care so much? Do you know who this man in front of you is?” One of the henchmen behind the muscular man chimed in with flattery.
“This is Long City’s youth boxing champion! And the youngest one ever! Tai Feng!”
“You’re just one word away from being a superstar boxer.”
“Shut your mouth! Right now! Hand over your points and we’ll spare you the pain!”
“And if I don’t?” Wang Tianwen stepped forward.
“Uh… just a reminder, bro, you ended the last round with zero points…” Luo Chenxuan mumbled from the side.
Wang Tianwen glared at him, then turned back. “Do you know who I am?”
“I don’t give a damn who you are!” Tai Feng punched Wang Tianwen in the stomach.
Wang Tianwen staggered back in pain. “Wait—at least let me finish talking, isn’t that how it’s supposed to go?”
Tai Feng waved his fist. “Why should I let you finish? This ain’t a drama. I hit when I want!”
“At least let me say that I’m actually—”
“You’re your grandma’s damn leg!” Another punch from Tai Feng knocked Wang Tianwen to the ground.
“Why are you only hitting me?! Hit those two too!”
“Because you always look so stiff and annoying.”
“But I’m—”
A third punch landed. Wang Tianwen collapsed completely.
“Okay… anyone else feel like nothing happens when he says normal stuff, but the moment he tries to say who he is, he gets punched?” Li Hao commented.
Both he and Jiang Wan nodded in agreement.
Tai Feng gave the unconscious Wang Tianwen a kick. “This little twig couldn’t even handle that?”
Then he slowly turned to the remaining three.
“Honestly, shouldn’t we have just run earlier?” Luo Chenxuan whispered.
“But leaving him behind like this feels wrong,” Jiang Wan said, lowering her head.
“That’s not really our concern anymore.” They quietly took a small step back.
“You three! Planning to abandon me?!” Wang Tianwen suddenly sat up, furious and pointing at them.
“Ah… you weren’t unconscious?!”
“You traitors! Planning to ditch me, huh?! And you! You meathead! You’re dead! I’m—!”
BANG. Wang Tianwen was sent flying into a tree again.
“Now I think I know what you meant by that push feeling. That sound is exactly like when you hit a tree,” Li Hao said, teasing Luo Chenxuan.
Wang Tianwen struggled up and wiped the blood from his lip. “Bastard… I—”
Luo Chenxuan quickly covered his mouth. “Don’t try to introduce yourself again if you want to leave alive!”
Wang Tianwen shoved him away. “I want this bastard to kneel and apologize! I am Wang—!”
Another kick from Tai Feng. Wang Tianwen fell silent once more.
“Ugh, you’re Wang all right… Wang-bastard.”
“You three! Hand over your points, or you’ll end up like him!”
“No room for negotiation?”
“Negotiate my ass! Hurry up!”
“Well… fine then.” Luo Chenxuan pretended to reach for his phone, then suddenly shouted, “RUN!”
All three scattered in different directions. Tai Feng’s veins bulged in fury. “Sons of bitches… grab them! I’ll get the leader, you two chase the fatty and the girl. They won’t get far. The last one, stay and watch the bastard on the ground.”
The henchmen obeyed and split off along the escape paths.
Luo Chenxuan sprinted down a trail, occasionally checking behind him to see if anyone was chasing. After a while, seeing no one behind, he ducked behind a tree to catch his breath.
But what he didn’t know was that Tai Feng had already tracked him. Spotting footprints in the soft dirt, he prepared to continue the chase—when suddenly, a rabbit mask appeared in front of him.
Startled, Tai Feng took a step back. Shimian Tu landed gracefully in front of him—small figure, clad in black.
“Who are you?”
“Hello there~ big strong brother.”
“Who the hell are you?”
“Oh, you can call me Little Rabbit. I don’t really like my organization’s name.”
“Organization?”
“That’s not important. Could I ask you to stop chasing that guy?”
“Why?”
“Because he’s someone very important to me~ If you let him go, I’ll be really happy~”
Her voice was incredibly sweet, sending shivers down Tai Feng’s spine.
“No can do. That guy still owes us points. But if you insist, you can pay for him~”
“Ah… but I don’t have any of those point-things you mentioned~”
“Then take off that mask. Let me see your face~”
“Nope~ I’m not supposed to show my face so easily~”
As she spoke, Tai Feng reached out to touch her.
“That’s not okay, big strong brother~”
“What’s not okay~?” Tai Feng grinned lecherously.
“There’s no one else around anyway~ Satisfy me and I’ll let him go~”
Sigh “You’re really not gonna listen, huh?”
“Huh?”
With that, Shimian Tu suddenly crouched and swept his legs out from under him. Tai Feng crashed to the ground. Dazed, his face twisted in anger.
“You bitch… you dare hit me?!”
“I tried talking nicely. You didn’t get it, did you?”
“Bastard!”
Tai Feng flipped up and threw a punch. Shimian Tu sidestepped and kneed him in the stomach, then clasped her hands behind her back.
“What does that mean?” Tai Feng steadied himself.
“Exactly what it looks like. I’m giving you two hands’ handicap.”
To a boxer, that was the ultimate insult. Furious, Tai Feng readied his stance.
“I’ll teach you a lesson today!”
“Oh~ I’m sooo scared~”
Tai Feng began swinging wildly, trying to land a punch, but Shimian Tu lived up to her name—he couldn’t touch her no matter what.
Panting and exhausted, Tai Feng was already losing steam, while she still bounced lightly on her toes.
“I wish I could be as tall as you someday~”
“You bitch!!” Tai Feng roared and charged.
“Ever heard of an idiom? ‘The cunning rabbit has three burrows.’”
In the blink of an eye, Shimian Tu vanished from in front of him and appeared behind. Tai Feng swung backwards—she appeared to his left. He raised his guard—she was now in front.
“Now you’ve got no chance~”
A sudden high kick connected squarely. Tai Feng flew backward and hit the ground hard.
The meaning of ‘three burrows’ was clear: Shimian Tu used her agile body to evade attacks, tricking the enemy into reacting from the wrong direction, then striking at their weakest point.
Tai Feng lay on the ground, staring up at the sly girl.
Shimian Tu stepped on his head. “Let me say it one more time~ Don’t touch that guy again, okay?”
“You think I’ll… surrender?”
“Aww~ I love it when people surrender.”
Screams echoed from the forest. Five minutes later…
Tai Feng knelt obediently, cheeks swollen.
“Don’t bother that big brother again. Got it?”
“G-Got it…”
“Good boy~ See? Wasn’t that obedient?”
“Y-Yes…”
Tai Feng thought to himself, Her slaps fly like they’re free… I can’t fight back, can’t run… if I don’t listen, what else can I do?
“Alright then~ Call your lackeys back. And if you ever see that big brother again, stay far away~”
“U-Understood.”
With that, Shimian Tu vanished instantly.
Tai Feng stared at the space where she disappeared.
For some reason, something strange stirred in his chest… it felt like some bizarre switch had been flipped.
