Gu Qian was tall with long legs, broad shoulders, and a narrow waist—a literal model’s physique. Yet the man currently behind him was even taller and more robust, encircling him within his arms. The curve of Qin Yue’s chest pressed against Gu Qian’s back with such a perfect fit that it seemed they were naturally meant to be this way.
However, Gu Qian quickly broke free from the restraint and turned around, taking a step back. “What a coincidence?”
Qin Yue asked back with a half-smile, “Does CEO Gu think I followed you here?”
Gu Qian’s tone was cold. “You know the answer to that yourself.”
“CEO Gu, you are truly wronging me,” Qin Yue protested his innocence. “I have been coming to this club much longer than that CEO Zheng.”
Gu Qian let out a scoff. “Are you daring to say our first meeting here was not arranged by you, and that you did not deliberately break into the locker room?”
Seeing him smile, Qin Yue smiled along. “I admit, that time I did break in deliberately to see you.”
As soon as he finished speaking, he suddenly reached out and pulled the person in front of him into his embrace.
Gu Qian knit his brows. “Talk properly. Keep your hands to yourself.”
Qin Yue did not let go. Instead, his hand tightened around the slender waist. He asked in a low voice, “Then do you know what I was thinking when I saw you in the locker room that time?”
Subconsciously knowing nothing good would come out of the man’s mouth, Gu Qian replied bluntly, “I do not want to know.”
Qin Yue held him and moved forward until he pressed him against the locker. “I was thinking that seeing you in person is even fairer and more beautiful than through a livestream camera.”
Gu Qian ignored the flirtatious tone and asked the question lingering in his mind. “I am asking you, how exactly did you recognize me?”
He had never shown his face on the streaming platform, nor had he ever spoken. The back-end system certainly would not leak his real information. He still could not figure out how Qin Yue had managed to link him to Qiqi.
Qin Yue laughed and lowered his head close to Gu Qian’s ear. “Does CEO Gu really want to know?”
The man’s breath brushed against his ear, making it itch. Gu Qian tilted his head uncomfortably. “Say it or do not.”
“CEO Gu, I can only say “…” ” Qin Yue freed a hand, his well-defined fingers pinching Gu Qian’s chin to turn it back toward him. “I understand you even better than you imagine.”
As the last word fell, he could no longer restrain himself and urgently kissed the lips he had been longing for.
Gu Qian opened his mouth to bite him, but Qin Yue did not retreat. His powerful tongue took the opportunity to explore, heavily licking the warm, sensitive roof of Gu Qian’s mouth. The person in his arms felt his waist go soft from the sensation, and a pleasant low hum escaped his nose. Qin Yue felt his scalp tingle from the stimulation, and his kiss became increasingly unrestrained.
Firmly pinned beneath him, Gu Qian could not avoid the kiss and could only reciprocate, trying to regain the initiative. Just like their last kiss, neither was willing to yield. The kiss grew more intense, and the wet sounds were exceptionally clear in the quiet locker room.
That was until the phone against Gu Qian’s thigh began to buzz.
With a soft pop, their lips parted. Qin Yue braced himself on either side of Gu Qian’s body, reminding him while panting, “There is a call, CEO Gu.”
Gu Qian leaned against the locker for a moment to catch his breath before pulling the phone from his suit pocket. The second call was just coming through. He pressed the answer button. “Hello.”
As soon as he spoke, he realized his voice was raspy.
“Hello, Qian,” Zheng Bowen’s voice came from the other end. “Xiao Meng and I have finished changing. Where are you?”
Just as Gu Qian was about to answer, his ear suddenly went numb. Qin Yue had taken the soft earlobe into his mouth, teasing it with his tongue while his restless hand slipped under the suit jacket to knead the sensitive side of Gu Qian’s waist through the shirt.
Gu Qian bit his lip, using his other hand to push hard against the chest in front of him. But the man pressing against him was like a heavy mountain that could not be moved.
Waiting for an answer, Zheng Bowen urged, “Qian, can you hear me?”
“Mhm “…” ” Gu Qian struggled to steady his breath so the other party would not notice anything strange. “I am in the restroom. Wait a moment.”
Zheng Bowen replied, “Okay, we will wait for you on the first floor.”
Gu Qian quickly hung up the phone and slapped the man buried in the side of his neck. “Get up.”
With a snap, Qin Yue quickly caught his wrist and extended his tongue to lick Gu Qian’s palm. Gu Qian felt goosebumps all over. Whether from shame or anger, heat spread from behind his ears to his cheeks. “Qin Yue, are you sick?”
“I am sick,” Qin Yue smiled again, his dark eyes flashing with a strange light. “You only realized it now? Too late.”
Gu Qian’s heart skipped a beat. He lowered his eyes to avoid the man’s gaze. “Let go. I want to go out.”
Qin Yue asked, “And what if I do not let go?”
Gu Qian’s tone turned cold. “I thought you came to find me because you agreed to my three rules.”
Qin Yue stared at the beautiful face, the expression in his eyes shifting several times. Finally, he let go and took a half-step back.
Gu Qian raised the hand that had been licked and disparagingly wiped the moisture from his palm onto the man’s sweatshirt. Qin Yue let him do it, reaching out to straighten Gu Qian’s messy suit and shirt. “Then “…” see you tonight?”
Gu Qian neither agreed nor refused, pushing past him to walk toward the locker room door. Behind him, Qin Yue emphasized once more, “CEO Gu, see you tonight.”
Gu Qian walked out of the locker room and went down to the first floor to meet them.
“Brother Qian!” Meng Siyao stepped forward, his sharp eyes noticing something off. “Eh? Why is your face a bit red? And your mouth is also “…” ”
“It is nothing. It is a bit hot,” Gu Qian interrupted. “Brother Zheng, let us go.”
Zheng Bowen stood up. His gaze fell on Gu Qian’s face, but he said nothing. “Okay, let us go.”
They drove to a pre-booked private restaurant. A short while later, another person arrived. Zheng Bowen said with a smile, “Old Li from Zhuohui Investment; I assume I do not need to introduce you?”
“Brother Zheng, speaking of which, I was the one who connected you and CEO Gu,” Li Hao joked. “This meal was long overdue, right, CEO Gu?”
“Yes,” Gu Qian gave a slight smile. “Today’s meal is on me.”
“It is all the same, no matter who pays,” Zheng Bowen greeted them. “Come, come, sit down first.”
As they sat, Li Hao looked at the young man sitting beside Gu Qian. “And this is?”
“My name is Meng Siyao,” Meng Siyao looked up and introduced himself smoothly. “I am CEO Gu’s assistant.”
“Oh, so it is CEO Gu’s assistant,” Li Hao nodded. “It seems CEO Gu even has looks requirements when hiring assistants.”
It took Meng Siyao a few seconds to react. “Is that a roundabout way of praising my handsome looks?”
Li Hao burst into laughter. “CEO Gu, your little assistant is truly interesting.”
“The kid is inexperienced; I brought him out to see the world,” Gu Qian replied calmly. “If he says anything wrong, please forgive him, CEO Li.”
“No, no,” Li Hao waved his hand repeatedly. “CEO Gu is too polite.”
As the food and drinks were served, they chatted while eating. Gu Qian finally understood what the new project was. Zhuohui Investment had eyes on a new piece of tourism land and wanted to combine local culture to develop a theme park and homestay cluster. They were looking for a large real estate company to collaborate with.
“Qian, as soon as Old Li told me about this project, I thought of you immediately,” Zheng Bowen had a few drinks, and he became more talkative. “What do you think? Your Brother Zheng is quite a guy, right?”
“Thank you, Brother Zheng,” Gu Qian filled his glass with wine, stood up, and said, “I toast to Brother Zheng.”
“Oh, there is no need to be so polite between us,” Zheng Bowen reached out to stop him. “Sit, sit, drink while sitting.”
Gu Qian sat back down. After clinking glasses from a distance and taking a sip, he toasted Li Hao as well. “I also want to thank CEO Li for his trust.”
Li Hao raised his glass. “CEO Gu, what are you saying? It is my honor to be able to cooperate with Shengtai Group.”
Gu Qian gave Meng Siyao a look, and he immediately understood. “CEO Li, I toast to you too!”
Meng Siyao might not be good at other things, but he was an expert at drinking. The two of them started drinking glass after glass, and before long, they were calling each other brothers. By the end of the meal, three out of the four were drunk; only Gu Qian had not had much.
As the group left the restaurant, Meng Siyao and Li Hao walked ahead with their arms around each other’s shoulders. Gu Qian walked behind, supporting Zheng Bowen.
“Qian, you treated us today, so I will not be polite,” Zheng Bowen said. “I must treat you back another day.”
“Okay,” Gu Qian replied, “I will be waiting.”
“You, you always say the right things,” Zheng Bowen squeezed his shoulder. “If it were not for talking about Old Li’s project today, I might not have been able to get you out.”
“How could that be?” Gu Qian helped him to the car door and let him sit inside. “As long as I am free, I am at your beck and call, Brother Zheng.”
“Haha, good! I will remember that!” Zheng Bowen waved his hand. “I will call you again.”
Gu Qian closed the car door and took two steps back. Over there, Meng Siyao had sent CEO Li off and was walking toward him with a swaggering gait. “Brother Qian, are we going home now?”
Gu Qian turned around. “Let us go.”
In the car, Meng Siyao asked for credit with a slurred tongue. “Brother Qian, tell me, how did I perform tonight?”
Gu Qian rolled the car window all the way down before replying, “Drinking is definitely within your domain.”
“That is right! When it comes to drinking “…” ” As Meng Siyao spoke, he felt something was off. “No, just tell me if I helped you tonight!”
Gu Qian gave a “Mhm” as a confirmation.
“I knew it!” Meng Siyao struggled to pull his phone out of his pocket. “I must brag to the old man.”
Gu Qian reminded him, “It is very late now. Uncle Meng should be resting already.”
“Oh, right, right. The old man should be asleep,” Meng Siyao put the phone back into his pocket, muttering, “No wonder the old man always says I am not even a tenth as good as you. I think he truly wishes you were his biological son.”
Gu Qian’s eyelids flickered, his eyes turning cold for a moment, and his hand on the car window tightened.
“But do you know what I told him?” Meng Siyao was completely unaware of the change, saying with a grin, “I told him that every cause has an effect, and his retribution was giving birth to me, hahaha!”
Gu Qian slowly relaxed his fingers and gave a very light laugh. “You certainly have self-awareness.”
Meng Siyao slapped his thigh. “Then that counts as another of my strengths!”
Over half an hour later, the car stopped at the entrance of the residential area. Gu Qian declined the drunk’s request to stay over and got out, letting the driver send the man home safely.
He went upstairs alone. Just as he stepped out of the elevator, he saw a familiar figure leaning against the door.
“You are back, CEO Gu,” Qin Yue greeted him with a smile, unsure of how long he had been waiting.
Gu Qian walked over, entered the door code, and opened the house door. As soon as he entered, the man following behind grabbed him by the back of the neck, turned him around, and bit into his lips.
“You have been drinking?” Qin Yue kissed him while pushing him toward the living room, still able to speak between kisses. “Smells good.”
Gu Qian was forced back to the sofa. After sitting down, he was pressed against the backrest. The mellow aroma of wine flowed between their lips. He suddenly felt dizzy, as if the alcohol was kicking in.
After quite a while, Gu Qian finally managed to catch his breath. “Shower first “…” ”
Qin Yue glanced downward and teased in a raspy voice, “Can CEO Gu wait that long?”
Gu Qian bent his knee and gave him a light nudge. “I think the one who cannot wait is someone else.”
Qin Yue let out a muffled hum, his large hand sliding up the long leg encased in suit trousers. “Since we both cannot wait, then “…” ”
“Go shower first,” Gu Qian gave him a warning glare.
“Okay, okay, shower first,” Qin Yue raised both hands in a gesture of surrender.
Gu Qian rose from the sofa and walked inside, habitually pulling at his tie and removing his clothes as he went. Qin Yue watched his casual yet seductive movements, finding the tightness of his suit trousers increasingly uncomfortable. He simply took off his clothes as well and followed him into the bathroom.
It was not their first time showering together. Gu Qian was too lazy to argue, turning on the showerhead and tilting his face up to meet the warm spray. Qin Yue squeezed under the spray, brushing his wet black hair back with his hand and leaning down to kiss him again.
Gu Qian’s emotions were more heightened than usual after drinking. When he was pressed against the wall by the man, he did not resist much.
After the first round ended, Qin Yue carefully helped him dry the water from his body, wrapped him in a bathrobe, and carried him back to the bedroom. Gu Qian originally wanted to refuse the princess carry, but because he had held a certain position for a long time, his legs felt a bit weak, so he simply let the man serve him.
Qin Yue wore only a towel around his waist. He went to the living room to mix a cup of honey water and brought it back to the bedside to feed him.
Gu Qian leaned against the headboard, his voice sounding lazy after the release. “Do you want to continue?”
Perhaps because the alcohol had relaxed his body, or because the other party had not gone too far, the experience in the bathroom was unexpectedly good.
Qin Yue leaned down to lick the water stains from his lips, smiling mischievously. “Qiqi, I feel like I have not seen you wear a dress in a long time.”
Gu Qian’s heart skipped a beat. “I do not want to wear one today.”
Qin Yue raised an eyebrow. “But I want to see.”
Gu Qian cursed, “Get out.”
“The walk-in closet is over there, right?” Qin Yue turned a deaf ear to the curse and straightened up. “I am going to pick out a pretty dress for you.”
Gu Qian bit his lip, starting to wonder if his act of leading the wolf into the house was a mistake. A moment later, Qin Yue returned to the bedroom holding a familiar black camisole dress.
Gu Qian: “…”
Qin Yue walked back to the bedside. Right in front of him, he sniffed the scent on the dress and asked with a smile, “Do you still remember the photo you took for me while wearing this dress last time?”
Gu Qian remembered the photo taken at the hotel back then, and heat quietly rose behind his ears.
“Now I can tell you what I wanted to do when I saw that photo,” Qin Yue knelt on the bed with one knee, his voice deep and clear. “I wanted to “…” f-u-c-k you to death.”
