11 – Chapter 11
Wanting Sheng Sheng to Take the Initiative to Dote on Me
Bo Jinye thought he could get some kind of reward.
But that night, he was driven out of the bedroom by An Sheng.
The man hugged his pillow, looking pitifully at An Sheng, whining in grievance, “Sheng Sheng?”
“Is Sheng Sheng abandoning me?”
An Sheng crossed her arms and leaned against the doorframe, “Yes, I suddenly remembered I can’t spoil A Ye like this.”
“When A Ye did something wrong before, he should be punished, right?”
Bo Jinye blinked his eyes and fell silent.
【As expected, scoundrels must pay the price.】
An Sheng curved her lips, raising her hand to lift the man’s chin, “If you behave, I’ll forgive you.”
“I’ll definitely be good!” Bo Jinye quickly replied, snuggling into An Sheng’s embrace, “But can we not sleep separately?”
“A Ye can’t fall asleep without holding Sheng Sheng.”
An Sheng looked down at the man who kept whining and trying to stay, gently kicking him out, “No…”
Then she closed the bedroom door.
Bo Jinye almost got hit in the face by the door, stepping back twice to look at the tightly shut door, he couldn’t help but chuckle softly, “Ah…”
“Sheng Sheng is so adorable.”
Of course, Bo Jinye was very unhappy about not being able to sleep in the same bed as An Sheng, but he always remembered.
He was here to atone for his sins.
As long as An Sheng was still with him, he could do anything.
Not to mention just sleeping apart.
Bo Jinye turned and headed to the secondary bedroom, a smile curling at the corners of his lips.
Besides, sleeping apart a few times now.
Would mean making up for it several more times when they sleep together later.
Not a loss at all…
Bo Jinye took his laptop to the secondary bedroom, locked the door, and had Shi Yan send him the recent company documents to review.
In the master bedroom, separated by just a wall, An Sheng looked at the admission letter from Carlton, lowering her gaze in thought.
This was a place where hidden talents gathered.
It was the best comprehensive school in the country besides Kyoto University, and An Ruyue was there.
An Sheng opened her phone and looked at another notification in her email.
It was another invitation from Carlton Academy, asking her to serve as an honorary professor.
Not just one…
There was one addressed to Dong Zhong, heir of the traditional Chinese medicine school.
One to Ming Shangchuan, a national first-class architectural designer.
One to Jun Tao, a leading figure in the mainstream art world.
And one to Hua Sha, the national team leader for the IMO International Mathematical Olympiad.
An Sheng’s fingers scrolled through the invitations in several email accounts, feeling uninterested.
She had received these invitations more than once.
And had rejected them all…
She had no interest in teaching and nurturing students at Carlton.
The only one she wanted to teach and nurture was Bo Jinye.
But now…
Thinking of An Ruyue, An Sheng felt a bit of interest in Carlton.
Going there as a professor wouldn’t be fun.
An Sheng put away the admission letter.
Going as a student would make it seem less like she was bullying others.
Turning off the light, An Sheng lay down to sleep.
And locked the door from the inside.
To prevent a certain unselfaware man from sneaking over at night.
If she said no touching, then he wouldn’t get to touch her at all.
It was both a punishment and a warning.
In the secondary bedroom, after discussing with Shi Yan what needed to be done, Bo Jinye glanced at the time and quietly slipped out.
Sheng Sheng should be asleep by now, right?
Could he go over and hold her?
Bo Jinye happily tried to open the door.
Only to find it locked from the inside.
Bo Jinye: “…”
Sheng Sheng… really was in sync with him.
Bo Jinye chuckled and sighed, fetched his pillow, and slept right outside the door.
Partly to play pitiful, partly because he was willing to do so.An Sheng nearly stepped on Bo Jinye’s face when she came out in the morning.
Amused, she crouched down and used the ribbon of her nightgown to brush it back and forth across Bo Jinye’s face.
The man woke up groggily, grabbing the ribbon. “Stop it…”
An Sheng lowered her gaze and continued teasing him.
“Stop it, Sheng Sheng…” Bo Jinye mumbled as he opened his eyes, reaching out to wrap his arms around An Sheng’s neck and pulling her down.
Caught off guard, An Sheng almost fell over him, bracing herself on either side of him as their breaths mingled.
Bo Jinye sat up, holding her close and nuzzling into her embrace. “Sheng Sheng is so mean…”
“This isn’t fun.”
“Sheng Sheng promised to play the undressing game with me yesterday!” Bo Jinye suddenly remembered.
Pouting, he tried to undress An Sheng.
Of course, he wasn’t so foolish as to actually do it right there—it was all in playful fun.
An Sheng pressed him down onto the floor. Bo Jinye was stunned for a moment, then obediently lay beneath her, his eyes shimmering with a pleased, dark gleam.
【Sheng Sheng is so proactive! So happy!】
An Sheng’s expression turned subtle. What on earth does this man think about all day?
Bo Jinye was still waiting for An Sheng to kiss him. Amused, she poked him. “Close your eyes…”
The man obediently shut his eyes, his strikingly handsome face filled with anticipation.
An Sheng quietly got up and tiptoed downstairs.
Bo Jinye waited for a long time, but An Sheng never came. When he opened his eyes, he realized she was long gone.
Frustrated, he lay back down. “Sheng Sheng!”
In the kitchen, An Sheng smiled faintly upon hearing his shout.
You Xin came from the side building and passed through the central corridor, spotting Bo Jinye still lying on the floor. He hurried over and crouched beside him. “Fourth Brother, what are you doing?”
Bo Jinye ignored him, getting up to wash up.
You Xin stared at him blankly, then followed persistently. “Fourth Brother, do you really not remember me?”
“Fourth Brother, I’m You Xin! I finally managed to sneak out of home to find you. How could you have lost your mind?”
Bo Jinye shot him a cold glance. “Then go back.”
You Xin, the young master of the family, was spoiled rotten and obeyed no one—not even the heavens—except for Bo Jinye.
He had clung to Bo Jinye since childhood.
“I’m not going back. Fourth Brother, are you really out of your mind?” You Xin simply couldn’t believe that Bo Jinye had lost his wits from a fall.
Bo Jinye was thoroughly annoyed and pushed You Xin aside to go find An Sheng.
“Hey, Fourth Brother! You haven’t dried your face or changed your clothes!” You Xin exclaimed, chasing after him.
Then he saw his Fourth Brother nuzzling into An Sheng’s embrace, rubbing the water droplets from his face onto hers.
He grinned innocently. “Sheng Sheng is all wet now too!”
You Xin: “…”
Witnessing this, he truly believed Bo Jinye had lost his mind.
Otherwise, his Fourth Brother would never act like this!
What You Xin still didn’t understand was that, at this point, Bo Jinye would gladly die if it meant An Sheng would spare him a glance.
An Sheng tugged at Bo Jinye. “Alright, you. Get dressed and eat.”
“Sheng Sheng, feed me, feed me!” Bo Jinye urged eagerly.
Just as An Sheng was about to agree, a servant approached. “Little Madam, security says there’s a delivery outside. Did you order something?”
An Sheng left Bo Jinye behind and went out. “Yes, it’s what I ordered. Have them bring it in.”
“Very well, Little Madam.”
Abandoned, Bo Jinye was furious. You Xin tried to console him. “Fourth Brother, shall I feed you?”
Without a word, Bo Jinye took his breakfast and went outside to eat alone. You Xin, “!”
She was so angry, feeling utterly neglected in this household!
Bo Xiyuan ignored You Xin’s resentful gaze and came over to sit down. “Even if you look at me like that, I can’t make President Bo return to normal.”
Perhaps he’s the normal one now!
