Unwrapping the packaging revealed the computer components inside.

An Sheng tied up her hair, sat cross-legged on the floor, and began assembling.

Since she was going to live in Brocade Garden and had no need to conceal her identity, she might as well set up all her equipment properly.

Bo Jinye brought her breakfast and quietly stood at the doorway watching for a while.

A flicker of doubt passed through his eyes.

He had never really thought deeply about Sheng Sheng’s past.

Before their marriage, he only knew that An Ruyue had an older half-sister, whose mother had passed away early, and who had been raised in the countryside since childhood.

It wasn’t until her teens that she began to appear in public, living in the old An family residence, where she was unwelcome.

An Ruyue rarely mentioned this sister, and when she did, it was mostly with pity.

Bo Jinye had never met An Sheng until that night when he was drugged and ended up spending the night with her.

Given all that, how did Sheng Sheng learn to handle these things?

How had she spent those eighteen years before he met her?

A strong wave of guilt and heartache surged in Bo Jinye’s chest.

He had never truly understood her.

Yet he knew she remembered every single one of his preferences clearly.

An Sheng had her back to the door and couldn’t see him, but she could sense Bo Jinye watching her.

She wanted to see what his reaction would be.

The man entered, set the breakfast aside on a table, wrapped his arms around An Sheng, and leaned his head against her shoulder.

An Sheng couldn’t continue working with him holding her like that and couldn’t help but laugh. “If you keep this up, I can’t move.”

Bo Jinye stayed silent, thought for a moment, then shifted to the side, slipped under her arm, and laid his head in her lap, burying his face in her embrace.

He held her tightly.

Their summer clothes were thin, and An Sheng could clearly feel Bo Jinye’s warmth.

And the dampness…

Was the man… crying?

This realization stunned An Sheng, leaving her almost in disbelief. Her hovering hand paused before finally settling on the back of Bo Jinye’s head, her voice softening. “What’s wrong?”

“Why are you crying?”

Bo Jinye shifted, holding her even tighter.

An Sheng set down the tool in her hand, quietly held his shoulders, and patted him gently. “Did You Xin make fun of you?”

Even though she knew the man was pretending.

Still, An Sheng couldn’t help but think of Bo Jinye as truly having regressed.

【I’m sorry.】

An Sheng’s hand suddenly stilled.

Sorry? Sorry for what?

Could it be that this act, this tenderness, was coming to an end?

An Sheng’s beautiful features turned cold, her long, curled lashes veiling the emotions in her eyes.

【How ridiculous that I thought I loved Sheng Sheng, yet I know nothing about her. What kind of love is that? Just blind self-indulgence.】

【I’ve missed out on so many years of her life. How can I ever make it up to her?】

【How should I love you, Sheng Sheng? How should I love you…】

An Sheng’s heart softened uncontrollably.

Even though she was the one who had loved first in this relationship, seeing the man’s state now…

Perhaps in the future, it would be him who couldn’t extricate himself from love.

An Sheng’s eyes curved into a smile as she gently pinched Bo Jinye’s cheek. “Little crybaby…”

“I never thought our A Ye would be such a little crybaby.”

“What’s bothering A Ye? Tell Sheng Sheng.”

Bo Jinye mumbled, his voice muffled, “My heart feels uncomfortable.”

An Sheng laughed. “Your heart feels uncomfortable? Then…”

She lifted Bo Jinye up, leaned in, and kissed his thin lips. “Does that make it a little better?”Bo Jinye licked his lips and shook his head, “Not enough, not enough—”

An Sheng kissed him again, “How about now?”

Bo Jinye’s eyes brightened slightly, “More, more.”

An Sheng chuckled softly, turned around, and pushed Bo Jinye against the bedside.

Their sweet breaths intertwined as Bo Jinye kissed with increasing skill.

During the first few times, he had no experience, and neither did An Sheng.

But such matters were best learned through instinct.

Bo Jinye had even secretly studied techniques behind An Sheng’s back, waiting for an opportunity to put them into practice.

An Sheng was amazed at how quickly the man had improved.

While inwardly scolding Bo Jinye with a laugh, An Sheng found herself dizzy from his kisses and couldn’t help but raise her arms to wrap them around Bo Jinye’s neck.

The small study door was left open.

You Xin passed by and glanced inside.

With one look, he saw An Sheng sitting on his fourth brother.

You Xin gasped sharply, “!!”

What are they doing!

Too scandalous to watch!

You Xin scurried away in a flash.

An Sheng lay limp in Bo Jinye’s arms, catching her breath. Bo Jinye kissed An Sheng’s forehead and wanted to continue, but she stopped him, “Are you still feeling upset inside?”

Bo Jinye nodded repeatedly, “Upset, upset!”

An Sheng’s lips, red and glistening from the kisses, curved into a seductive smile, “Then endure it.”

After saying this, she pulled away the man’s hands and stood up, continuing to assemble the computer.

Bo Jinye sulked and leaned closer, but An Sheng raised the screwdriver in her hand, “If you’re not good, you’ll get punished.”

Bo Jinye looked at the cold glint of the screwdriver and fell silent, obediently sitting beside An Sheng and feeding her breakfast.

“What’s this? Something fun?” Bo Jinye couldn’t help asking.

He wanted to understand An Sheng better.

“Yes, it’s fun. There are lots of fun things inside,” An Sheng replied casually.

“When will Sheng Sheng play? I want to play too,” Bo Jinye watched as An Sheng skillfully and swiftly assembled the computer and other components, his curiosity growing.

Judging by Sheng Sheng’s familiarity, it wasn’t her first time—she must have been used to it long ago.

An Sheng hummed in agreement, “When I play, I’ll definitely bring A Ye along, okay?”

“When the time comes, I’ll turn this place into a game room. A Ye can play whatever he wants.”

Hearing this, Bo Jinye’s eyes darkened intensely as he stared fixedly at An Sheng.

[I want to play with Sheng Sheng, or let Sheng Sheng play with me!]

An Sheng nearly stabbed the screwdriver into her own palm, startling Bo Jinye, who quickly took her hand and examined it worriedly.

“Does it hurt?” Bo Jinye blew gently on her hand.

An Sheng smiled, “It’s fine, it didn’t actually pierce through. It doesn’t hurt.”

Bo Jinye lowered his head and kissed her palm, murmuring to himself, “If Sheng Sheng hurts, I’ll hurt even more.”

“Sheng Sheng, please never let yourself get hurt, okay?”

An Sheng gazed at him, her voice soft and clear, “The only one who can hurt me is Bo Jinye.”

“Bo Jinye, will you hurt me again?”

The man’s tone was resolute as he looked deeply into An Sheng’s eyes, “No…”

“Never again.”

“If I ever hurt Sheng Sheng again, Sheng Sheng can use this screwdriver to stab me to death.”

A trace of ferocity and darkness flickered across the girl’s enchanting, passionate face. Her slender hand caressed the man’s chest, her eyes hiding a hint of morbid possessiveness.

“Okay…”
